In the initial episode they mentioned abt being from different clans.. But didnt mention which clan is that..
So I think vik was faking to bela/ruhi that he is from diffrnt clan(may b ally clan) n not mentioned her abt his actual clan which is actual rival..

As i am travelling i couldnt see actual precap n most of episode today. But reading updates here i could get fair idea of essence of story today.
