I think ekta kept all the loops open with shivangi story and her saying she want answers... If this season doesn't work she'll have valid story to bring Mouni back.

The episode wasn't that interesting tbh, avg acting and a bit Oct... Chetan Hansraj always does good as a villain. Waiting to see what roles Surbhi and Anita gonna play... They still have kept surbhi's character in wrap given that she wasn't given much in the promos:/

The episode wasn't bad really and this is coming from someone who isn't even a fan of the franchise 😆 They did a decent job in setting up the premise. Didn't mind the movie promotion but it could have certainly been done away with.

I don't think the story is only going to be about how Ruhi avenges the murderers of her lover. They always have this Naagmani business going on in the series, am sure it will smh make a comeback 😆

Those gigantic snakes making an appearance and eating up people was unintentionally funny 😆 But giving credit where its due despite of all the tacky VFX, they did manage to create some curiosity about the story.

Anita's role seems to suit her well and she did a pretty great job in the precap. Pearl's acting didn't quite impress me, the actors leading the pack of those bad boys were good.

All in all yep not a bad start, the previous season didn't quite hold my attention as much. In Season 1 I loved Rivanya and Adaa. Hoping for a better Season 3.

PS- It was nice to see Mouni in the first scene :)

About the new story, I like the starting but I didn't like the male lead opp. Surbhi. Surprisingly Karishma and Rajat's pair looks good onscreen.. I like the pair

I think on the contrary shivangi 's cliffhanger is what becomes surbhi 's character's back story (maybe sj /bela is actually shivangi 's reincarnation )...many viewers will be definitely following the show hoping to solve that mystery. . Ekta doesn't usually have the habit of leaving loopholes. ..

The initial episode was impressive. .especially mouni 's part...!I feel season3 will fare much better than season2(though I'll seriously miss mouni she is The heart and soul of the franchisee )..have seen pearl v puri in his first show..badtameez dil...he was quite good!Anita is ofc a superb performer. .and so is surbhi!

Only bad points I felt that there are too many targets ..err..too many villains..roughly 8-10 was shown in vikrants eye!

Honestly the new season seems a mess.

Bigger than S2 LOL

Watched 15 minutes of it and I felt I was watching a spoof show.

Also who hired these aunties Jyoti, Tanna and Hassanandani.

I was never a big fan of Mouni , but the leads such a big trainwreck that they made me feel like Mouni was some Gorgeous Goddess🤪

Also, duniya mein aur koi hero nahi mila that Pearl ko pakaar ke le aaya?

Pearl V Puri of all the people?

Never seen such a pathetic show from Kekta before.

The quality of her shows are falling day by day yet she wants to cling to her TV queen Status🤢

Disagree with what you said about anita and karishma. Anita really does fit into the naagin franchise, karishma was actually surprisingly good in this episode, otherwise I usually think nothing of her, although I really think rajat way overshadowed her, as he usually overshadows actors in shows anyways.

Surbhi on the other hand, I can't see why people like surbhi. Whenever I watch her acting, she's always overdoing the bubbly girl role, so I get annoyed, or where she has to enact a serious scene her voice ruins it. Her voice seems only fit to play a bubbly and playful role.

And thank god though I found someone who agrees with me on pearl. His acting was awful in life ok's nagarjun, a show that he ruined with his presence and one expression acting when he took over from the surprisingly younger and significantly more natural actor anshuman malhotra who was the lead before him. It was horrid seeing anshuman as the male lead in the show who was actually a really decent to very good actor, to then be replaced by pearl, who killed the entire show with his awful performance. I don't trust him to put on a good show in naagin either. What is wrong with Ekta? She's going to regret hiring him. 😆

This season doesn't interest me coz of the casts. No offense to the actors but I don't like any of them. I watched yesterday's episode only for rajat. And I used to watch naagarjun but I left it after Pearl's entry. Let's see how he does here

Yeah really disappointed with Shivangi's drastic end.. but as she said in the end that Main ja rahi hu par Main jaroor wapas aaungi... I guess SJ's character can be Shivangi or Shivangi's story can be shown in next season

Agree with you krishna, the way shivangi's story ended was disappointing but its better than trying to link the new story with old one as that would have been messy.

I too loved karishama and rajat's chemistry I was totally not expecting this. Looking for to see Anita now.
