Something similar was shown in the initial episodes of Wanda Vision, where charecters of a TV show have a real life as those charecters, outside of the screen space they get.

thank you so so so much dear... this one was so special cause ye bahut dino se likhna chah rahi thi and i was waiting till the 100th epispde ke kya hota hai jise main include kar saku and so glad it had same impact that way i wanted it to have.

It's a Marvel TV series, available on hotstar. Initial few episodes are based on the theme I describe and then there is plot reveal as to what was really happening involving magic and superpowers etc.
