Dev realization of love

What if dev realise he really love vidhi and vidhi just say that it was only an infatuation and take a back foot because of her father then what will dev do?? Imagine such scenario.and answer it

So if Vidhi backs off saying it was infatuation for whatever reason (mostly cause of her dad) believe me Dev wouldnt do much... cause he hadnt heard her confess in black n white. all he underdtood from her talks so the moment she stops paying him that special attention... all he would do is go for a get together in baal ghar and indirectly ask her "Aajkal bahut sincere ho gayi ho tum kaam ko leke. which is really good that you are paying more attention to work than other things"

to which Vidhi might say "haan sir wo ma papa ne samjhaya kaam ache karna bahut important hai.. bahut bachpana kar liya maine.. aapko kitna tang kiya... kitna embarass kiya. To ab ill not take ur help forgranted"

and that would be it.. i really doubt Dev would go anything deeper into it.. cause he has been so supportive towards Vidhi's decision.. and agar abhi.. at this instant ye hota hai then thats all Dev will do.

But agar thode time baad.. jab Vidhi will confess more clearly, Dev will get time to talk to himself to find why he felt so Vidhi.. and tab Vidhi back off karegi.. tab Dev would go lil around her missing her, to want to know her the reason why she is not talking to him like before, why she is ignoring him...

though yaha tak pahuchne se pahle...angst hoga... dev angry, cranky, sad, gloomy hoga.. but the confrontation gonna be epi.. ke how come leave me now.. after how much you mean to me....

I agree!! If she backs off, he will respect her decision and back off as well. Unless he thinks that she is doing it out of some pressure or fear. Then he might go behind her otherwise he will not try to get her back. He is someone who gives a lot of importance to consent. He has always let her do her own thing and never forced his decisions on her or anyone else. Be it her MBA, continuing to work with him or anything. Even today he was angry because he knew she didn't do that out of her own will. He has been always shown like soft and respectful and I really like that about him.

that's the Crux of Dev's character... if its her own will he will accept but if she is forced or under pressure then wo nahi chhodne wala kisi ko bhi.. na Vidhi ko na jisne use pressurized kiya...

Hey IMO Dev lovestory is unique hence it wouldn't suit for Dev to become a lovelorn Romeo. Instead just like how Vidhi dad agreed for her Naukri similarly their love story should culminate into marriage with the acquiescence of the parents especially Vidhi parents. Otherwise Vidhi will look like a silent killer against the grain of her character arc.

I am a silent reader of all the lovely articles in this forum. A thought just struck me that some of the the names of the story appear to be from mahabharat. There satyavati was Devvrat's ( more commonly known by the name Bhishma)step mother. Amba tried to marry Bhishma but was rejected by him. Sorry my post is just a remark. Nothing to do with the main theme of the show.
