I couldn't see the episode till now, so instead read the written updates and discussions in breaks b/w work and as it's so apparent, every 3rd post goes on and on complaining about Megha's evil/silly/brainless/blind/stupid matchmaking. Trust everyone to worry so much about Megha's harmless idea of matchmaking, which even if she implements it, is only ever going to form a minor subplot...you know the things which are shown sometimes as filler scenes? If everyone cools down a bit and stops to take in the bigger picture, then even if Megha does play matchmaker..it's not going to have any major drastic life-changing impact as everyone knows alongwith Mohan that he loves Megha. I don't get what's so worrisome about Megha matchmaking when the episode today heralded of some much more worrisome and tense happenings to come our way like:

1) Sanjay's boss's son's engagement which would be Rash-me's engagement.

2) FIL discovering the receipt in Mohan's name

3) Mohan's saree dialogue clearly indicating of a forced Meghan separation.

Honestly, i just finished watching the episode and the precap is too horrible for words, looks like impending doom for Megha, indirectly for Mohan too as he's totally in love with her. Anyways this is my POV, i am still amazed at how come majority here is worrying so much over something as trivial as Megha's non-existent attempts at matchmaking and consequently worrying for 'poor monu' too when he's obviously not in any danger from any matchmaking..there are much more serious things plot-wise, to worry about after today's episode.

Who's in agreement?

P.S by blame misdirected i mean that Megha's becoming an easy target for all and sundry, someone to put the blame with on minor things going wrong with the story, and Megha's all antics, some only on the basis of prediction plus speculation, are blown out of all proportion. Megha's matchmaking ideas, from her perspective are completely justified but that i (with some others) have already stated in big_007's thread.

Matchmaking attempt will not have major impact but its just that we have seen every other heroine doing it and we don't want it here. Otherwise thats no big issue.

Now acc to promo Mohan's mom also came to know about Megha as Mrs. Mohan bhatnagar from Rashmi outside the saree shop itself. So engagement may not be shown. What CVs will do is confusing me even more now.

I know heroine matchmaking for hero is an old concept but i was just wondering if it's really worth worrying over after such an episode which shows much greater things coming.

Oh yeah, now tou i am shell-shocked literallly...what will happen next..can't at all imagine😕 what the new promo brings for us. Guess everyone that is both the vyas and bhatnagar mom will come to know it simultaneously and all hell will break loose

So true and nobody thinks twice before grading her down, when prateek track happened, it was so obvious that if Mohan stopped shielding and shadowing her & prateek then what happened in jannat resort would have taken place in office and prateek wouldn't have had a chance to resort to booking bedrooms as on his first wrong move that is touch of hand etc, megha would have become aware and given him a deserved one but no!! Mohan kept on shielding her as if he will be with her 24/7. It was not intelligently handled by mohan but anybody hardly noticed this as they were busy getting angry with megha for putting blinders on.

@ fmani even i felt d same my sis ws cursing megha dat tym ... i tld her agar tere aur ek ghai ke beach me mountain hai toh tujhe kaise pata chalega ke mountain ke peeche khatara hai ... mohan hamesha beech me aata tha... isse pehle ke pratik ke eyes me megha ko lust dhikhe mohan aapna chahra dikhata tha ... i mean mohan kuch wrong nahi kiya megha ko bacha ke .. he tried 2 save a females respect thts gud ... bt megha ko blame karna me koi pt nahi ... i guess both were rite at tht pt even nw dey r ...

guys dnt say tht megha is brainless she has brain ... bt she isnt smart enough 2 uderstand dirty games of wrld ... vo hamesha is protected rahi hai ... whteva she knos abt wrld is throug amar n according 2 him duniya aachi hai (though uske saath itna bura hua tht he ws murdered... acche logon ke saath hi bura hota hai) ...

as far as mohan is conserend he is reporter frm 10yrs he knos all folds n turns of world ... he stays along frm a long tym so dnt compare him n megha

@Fmani and others. My grouse is mainly with the inconsistent characterization for Megha. I accept that she having been protected all throughout so far does not know the ways of the world and is naive

In the Pratik track, while I was not quite happy that her female instincts did not kick in, it seemed acceptable as Pratik is her best friend's husband and unless its something he does on her face she would not know.

Regarding the Rashmi track, she actually acted as Mrs. Bhatnagar only when she heard Rashmi putting down Mohan. Rashmi was downright humiliating in the supermarket. With that background if she is going do matchmaking, just because Rashmi happened to be wistful in the saree shop, then for me its not quite consistent.

Anyway that's what we have and we have to go along. With FIL suddenly becoming Sherlock Holmes and Mohan's mom also now knowing about things, lets hope that Megha escapes with just some raps on her knuckles.

This being a desi show, women generally have to take a greater share of the blame :-). It's going to be a scary couple of weeks. Maybe the promo of Mohan telling "Yeh saari meri yaad dilayegi..." was a premonition I guess of the stuff to come

I do agree with your first point here - "inconsistent characterization of Megha". I am first and fore-most a Megha lover and have felt exactly the same disappointment with the CVs, her traits don't come across as obviously and consistently as Mohan's and the blame does lie with those who created Megha beautifully but since then seem to have just lost their old fervour in upholding all that forms Megha's essence.

Regarding Megha's "match-making thought process", she's a bit justified here. From personal experience, i know for a fact that worse people (than rash-me) have ended up getting just Mohan-like life-partners. It's rare but it does happen, that's why "love is blind" stands true still. If deep down they both love each other, then irrespective of how different your views about life, such couples do end up adjusting to each others shortcomings or bad traits and spend long happy years together.

Megha does have good measure of rash-me as a person but she still doesn't know Mohan's hidden feelings yet. Since this past 2 weeks, she got introduced to Mohan's vulnerable past, guru's version of their break-up and Mohan's going all silent on this topic. Mohan's silence, Megha has seen for herself on multiple occassions now, TRUE, Mohan has told her twice that he doesn't love rash-me anymore but seeing his still so evident and irritating silence whenever he comes face to face with rash-me or rash-me's engagement is mentioned, Megha and anyother person can easily take it to be that Mohan's still bitter with rash-me and consequently in denial that he still has feelings for rash-me.

No matter what kind of a person rash-me is, how she treats guru, how she treats Megha's kids, irrespective of her character traits, Megha knows that Mohan loved rash-me madly once, madly enough to have been bitter ever since. She doesn't know that Mohan has moved on from his ex-gf, without at first realizing himself. Afterall her comments on Megha and the kids or on anyother person doesn't really matter as she is thinking only of her friend Mohan's happiness, since Rash-me seems to be in "still-in-love-with-mohan" mode so it's natural and sweet of Megha to get matchmaking ideas into her head. Remember, nobody is perfect, and marriage to good loving life-partner can and does change one's views of life and people..that can apply to a rash-me like girl also
