Loved the epi today- I like this show also bec they dont drag an issue too much...
The epi continues with Surya and Ammaji dialogs and loved it when Surya tells ammaji that bec she considers him her son and out of respect for her He will continue to live with them but he knows that after all he is a son-in-law and when a s-i-l lives with his wife's family he becomes a house husband... and house husbands dont get any respect...
So he tells Ammaji that he will live with them but anytime anyplace if any of the family members hurt his self respect he will have to break this promise...
Ammaji tells Surya that we will see that such a thing does not happen ever... (dont understand how she can talk like this for all the members of her family with such confidence)
Inspector Vikram comes to meet Ammaji and tells her that now the security for her is his responsibility so he will be staying close to her at all times. He brought some papers for her to sign... Dia brings some tea for ammaji and Vicky is lost in his admiration for her...
Ammaji asks her to get some tea for Vicky as well
Chanda as usual in her annoying way tells Ammaji that with young girls in the house it is not right to have the Inspector stay around the house...
In another scene the politician and his Son are doing some work and a servant brings them some drink and the son looses his temper and throws the glass bec there was no ice in it...
Father tells his son that his temper is his weakness and he shld learn to control it or it can destroy him. Son tells father that he is unnecessarily giving much imp to Ammaji and it is not even certain that she will take their offer. Father says that he has tried to persuade her and maybe she will take it...
Back to Inspector Vikram is being teased by his ppl to do it rt this time ( they mean professing his love for dia to her)
Dia brings him tea and Insp Vicky takes it and also makes his proposal and Dia tells him that he does not know anything abt her... Vicky then tells her to come into his life as a diya and Dia is not saying anything - Vicky pleads with her to say something...
Dia holds his hand and takes him to the shrine of Goddess and grabs handful of Sindoor and pours it on her head... Insp Vikram is shocked and his tea cup and saucer fall off his hand...
Dia tells him that she is a married woman and she lives with her grandmother bec her husband left her...
Back to the scene where all the family members are discussing abt Ammaji's entry into Politics
Aditya says that Politics gives one Power to use
Karan tells him that his thinking is wrong bec with Power also comes responsibility to do the right thing for the ppl
Aditya responds arrogantly abt his achievements as a businessman and how he accumulated wealth to repay the debt for Ammaji ( not sure if repay debt or return some money- whatever it is he seemed to have helped ammaji financially)
Aditya tells Karan that he has done all this and what has Karan done for the family...
Jhanvi enters the room with Tea for all and she responds that all the time karan stayed with them thru good and bad days and even put his life at risk many times for the family. So Aditya should not say that Karan has not done anything for the family...
Jhanvi tells ammaji that she feels that her entry into politics will give her chance to help ppl better...
Sorry but these are snippets of todays epi not necessarily in the order it was shown...
What I liked is that they did not drag the Vicky-diya issue and Surya's acceptance of Ammaji's offer for him to live with them was done with a lot of dignity and self respect... Thank God Surya made it clear that house husbands dont get any respect and if any1 hurts his self respect he would leave...
