Amba is sitting at the head of the table waiting for food to come. She then asks AC to call everybody else to the dining table. The male of the species are all waiting in the kitchen. The women comes in Amba asks them to sit down. She then asks the men to serve the thalis and then the food. Kateeli comes with the rotis, her face all black with the fumes and smoke of the chulha. Amba asks her to hurry on so that she can finish her work soon, cos she would have to massage her legs all through the night.
Amba then tells Jogi, Gaji and Avtar taht till date the womenfolk and have always run around them asking about their favourite food and and have prepared it. But have they ever asked them what they like? She then tells that from that date, food will be prepared according to the favourites of the women in the house. She then asks them to tell them about their likings but they all remain mum. Sheela Chachi then tells Amba that it is true that all their lives, the women have to listent ot otehrs wishes - their Father and brothers when they are young, and then their husbands and sons once they are married - so they have all forgotten what they all like individually. Amba is taken back for a moment and after some time, tells the males that have they ever given it a thought. She then tells that a jashn will be arranged in the house the next evening so that the women can relax and have some fun. She then praises the food that Rangeeli has cooked and says that from that day, Rangeeli will cook food for everybody.
AMba is relaxing in the room when AC comes in and asks why is she favouring the women so much and all along they have always looted the rich. Amba gives him such a look that he leaves the room and promises to invite the banjaraans from their known groups for the jashn. She then goes to Bhagwani's picture and says that befor eleaving the haveli, she will ensure that she awakens fire inside the heart of every women inside, so that Ammaji will come into direct collision with them and get burnt.
Nest morning, Amba calls everybody to the hall. She then calls Jogi and 'chikna' Dheeraj and then asks Sheela to tell ehr fave food is. She replies that when she was young, she used to love moong daal ki kachori with mirchi ki chatni. Everybody smiles and AMba asks Jogi and chikna to prepare the food within half an hour. Gaji laughs again and Amba asks him why is he flashing his teeth once again. She asks him to go with Dheela Pajama and make all preparations for the jashn. She asks AC to help them and also keep an eye on them.
