Okay okay, I did read it.

Yes, this tampering with Sia's role is not gonna help I feel. Whichever Daku comes and stays and goes away, will ultimately not matter.

SIa will matter -- so the CVs should really work on that.

And yes, Raghav should do somethign about Sunitha's murder case too.

sia should matter as she is one of the main lead and if they can redeem her with this daku plot nothing like it

Then I am all for it. Otherwise it would be such a dampener.

very true poet..and i agree raghav can only be redeemed fully when he makes up for his atrocious behaviour towards sia's family..but woh toh apna veerpur ka contract bhulakar kisi aur show mein ja chuke hain...sia's character is the biggest letdown in this show...and has majorly ruind the show altogether..half the times her screeching bugs me so much, forget ammaji,i myself want to enter the screen and give her one..should borrow the line from the old action movies:'when u want to shoot, shoot, dnt talk'..in her case it would be 'act on what u speak'...
and another thing, the creatives apparently do not remember the theme of the show is female infanticide...after chanda's girl, there hasnt been any case at all...tht u can add poet..

I know Anu. Earlier the Show did focus on various problems plaguing the womenfolk in the village, including foeticide. But now none of these issues are even thought about.
What tracks do we get now? -Santosh will have to sleep with Raghav and produce a heir; Ammaji to be kidnapped but Raghav gets kidnapped instead ... what rot!

And Sia's character has been the most trampled on. Love is the most important thing albeit but it does not make a person so weak. I would seriously love to see them do somethign worthwhile with Sia's character. And no more bhashanbaazi -

But are the CVs listening?

very true i love sia's character to bits but am not able take what the cv's have made her into.and raghav also needs redemption.see all this will become alright when the creatives bring about the rasia reunion and make rasia an united front, unbreakable front who oppose ammaji.'s atrocities.i am not saying that a woman cannot anything without a man but to remain in the haveli with authority sia does need raghav.

the daku plot has come about due to the infanticide issue is all i feel now and the santosh plot was useless and so very unethical that i wanted to puke.the cv's need to really put the laado train back on track with social issues interpersed with emotional and love plots

I would vote for that.

And I also agree that probably once Raghav and Sia reunites in the true sense, that is like one soul, then probably they would be able to fight as a united front. There are loads that needs to be taken care of.

As for Sia needing Raghav and vice versa, it's more like, as per the slight mythological connection, the two parts of the divine interspersion coming together to form a wholeness and then moving on to their individuality.

I am fine with Raghav kidnapping only if the Daku turns out to be Ammaji's relative and Raghav comes to know and rehabilitates her life
These are few thing i wouldf want the serial to start showing
1) panchayats pronuncing death sentence to lovers or for those who marry outside caste
2) they can show things like Female education how its equally important in villages as in city? It will also send out an impirtant message to society saying its not late to send your girl children to school no matter the age
3) Childrens education in rural set up. They can show the hardships of children who have to walk many miles to go to school. Sia and Raghav can get together and open a school. When people are educated they will not listen to each and everything that Ammaji tells them as Gospel truth.
4) Women mistreatment in some families ex in Ammaji's house other than Rangeeli and Sunheri all others are being mistreated in one way or the other. Raghav can surely start changing Veerpur by first setting his house on order. He is educated abroad and surely know how independent women are in some societies
5) female infanticide, here a girl child should be born, ideally in Ammaji's house and Raghav Sia and others must oppose Ammaji if she tries to kill the baby. Not only that this kid must be shown attending school so that one custom of not educating daughters is set right in the village. Ammaji should slowly realize that girls are also assets to their families and not liabilities
6) Show must also show the difficulties familes face to bring up the girl child of the social boycott that takes place if you decide to keep the girl child alive. Recently there was a report where in some village there was baraat for the 2nd time in more than 100 years because only 2 girls have been kept alive by their families.
7) Widow Remarriage
Indeed they can show that when Raghav Sia fight for all these causes they will slowly start liking each other and fall in love. But its high time this serial does not go on family drama and start taking up serious issues which was its main aim.

Absolutely Prem. A slight mixture I will agree to since it's a daily soap but the basic premise should be intact.

In fact, from what we all have jotted down over here, its clear that the CVs need to do something good about both Raghav and Sia's character, and not glorify Ammaji's misdoings instead. A sort of positivity should go out to the world from them and they should not deal with negativity only.

Very good points, Poetic...I am with u...I only started watching a couple of mths ago, & went through the epis from the beginning in the process...basically, when Sia decided (after Sunita's murder) that she was going to gain Raghav's confidence, her fiery personality began to change...part of this was buried feelings starting to emerge to the surface, part of it was too many other problems/scenarios cropping up for her to focus on her mission; and, after her marriage to Raghav, SHE HAS BECOME TOTALLY DEPENDENT ON HIM! I also think now the focus is not on her AT ALL. Even when she spoke in front of the entire family on Friday, she made a plea for THEM to bring Raghav back. The old Sia would have taken it upon herself & probably not have made such a display of it....

I do believe Sia's characterization has changed to a more docile, verbally reactionary person. And I fully agree with u that we need to see that FEARLESS, CONFIDENT, INTELLIGENT Sia back.

Yes Nandalala .. Sia's character has been compromised the most and has made her completely dependent on Raghav, cut off from the rest of the world. That's a very good point you got there.

I also started watching a few months abck and have watched some old epis as well. Can't even think that this is the Sia we knew? Ammaji is important I know, but why compromise on the other equally important character.

Ying exists only with yang.
