we were thinking of only sia all through this discussion... but there was one name lost in this argument.. tht of sheela chachi... i have really started liking her, both as an actress and the character she portrays... all i know about her is that her name is sonal jha, a theater artist.... but the way she shapes her expressions and such controlled yet powerful acting - thts something we dont usually see on stage... those intricacies are not often visible to a large audience and therefore theatre acting tends to be a bit loud when it comes to expressions... am soooo very surprised at her versatility

I think that natasha is a good choice for the role of sia.i am writing this not because i really adore the raghav-sia pairing.

sia is a character who is a girl next door who needed to be soft and feminine ,mind u not glamorous.natasha is all that.they also needed her not to act as a macho feminist who shouts and expresses herself very strongly.I think natasha is that.they would have also wanted a character extremely in contrast to ammaji who is always physical in relation to all her actions.that is there should a serenity on her face which is in contrast to ammaji.i think natasha has that too in stature and also her voice.her voice actually put is an expression of her value systems projected on screen.she is not ammaji to scream and so in need of a hard hitting voice.
next we will come to her acting capabilities .she is good actress but not an excellent one in that.she may need fine tuning in some areas but she emotes reasonably well.her eyes really express anger,anguish and happiness really well.i didnt find her wanting in the romantic scenes too though she may need to some amount of improvement when she stands against an seasoned actress like meghana malik.actually that will come with time and experience .I think some of u have been a little too harsh on her .

Yes i agree sheela chachi is a great character and a good actress undoubtedly.......and so are some of the others...but afcourse ammaji is the best of them i mean as an actress afcourse i think the show wont run without her..whereas siyas role seems quite useless so i definitely wouldnt call her a lead as things stand today......because one thought earlier she would fight ammaji and her evil doings..but now i am quite sure she wont be made to do anything..at best she may support the other women that too behind ammajis back!

Sia is simply a wrong choice for a lead. I prefer Sheela Chachi over her. She is so balanced, mature and great actress. Her expressions were so real and natural when she was comforting Santosh. Sia just had another frown gesture as usual, somehow trying to show some anger and disgust.

Sheela chachi conveyed her message, concerns with such a dignity to Joginder that even person like Joginder was forced to think. whereas Sia just barges in and starts screaming in shrilling voice. Blaming Amma Ji and Haveli all over again. She is like a worthless Indian Politician. She sits quiet until time is right and suddenly goes beserk when there is an opportunity. She is so unimpressive for a lead.

Agree... Actress playn Chachi is really good both acting wise as well as char wise. Only stable and sensible character.

Sia on other hand is so endearing when she doesnt speak , all those days when she was silent and sendn Raghavn mixed singnals and used to send him on guilt trip were so good but its when she opens her mouth all harm befalls and look now she risked her hubby this time. Wonder who will sleep with whom and who will get preg with whose child.😕
