As Ayushmann clearly clarified that the finale had three portions..

1. The Pre-finale Match
2. Audience Voting
3. The Grand Finale Match

Shankar's Rockstars won the Pre-finale so They got 2 points.

Shaan's Strikers won the Audience Voting, so They got 2 points.

So, it was a tie.. Now the deciding factor was the result of the Grand Finale Match, which Shankar's Rockstars won.. So, that is how it was concluded..

I don't think the votes were wasted, as the votes made Shaan's team formulate a tie with Shankar's team.

Anyways, this is entirely my opinion. Others can agree or disagree as they like. Thanks.

Agree......If shan's fans had not voted, he would have lost 2 -0 initially itself......which would have been bad !!!

Challenge 2005: Debo got lot more votes from people in Bengal/Assam. Less people voted more and hence isnt true majority

II 2: Rajasthan voted like crazy for Sandeep Acharya. Minority winning over Majority with more determination.

Who told you debo got votes only from Asam/Bengal in 2005 chalenge!!! Debo won from South Zone and West Zone and East Zone.. Vineet won from North and central zone.. Vineet ka aaj haal dekho aur debo ka dekho.. Debo is faaaaaaar stronger a singer than Vineet in todays date.. Log aisehi kisi ko vote nahi karta.. That was Universal Voting that time not only from Asam/Bengal.. I didnt vote for Debo that time neither for vineet.. I became a fan of Debo in course of time..

And about Sandeep Acharya and Tamang I dont hav much idea but yes they got votes from their regions mostly (I accept!!!) BUT in Debos case there was universal support and Also in case of Shaan Strikers.. DONT compare these two different cases...

You and 2-3 others chirkuts like you cant put down a popular choice of the nation!!

hi slumkdog.. they declared Zonal results like east, west north south.. Shaan was declaring each zone results in the final one by one after each set of performances.. News channels like aaj tak and zee news were showing a Bar chart where debo was leading by 60% to 40%.. Shaan finally declared at last and all lifted debo on their shoulders.. Debo howver sang in films like 88antophill and dubbed for quite a few movies before he came to sing in Saregamapa05 and was runnerup in Gazal-e-sara where great gazal singers like talat aziz and others were judge(no public votes ;) ).. Debo was outstanding there mesmerising the judges.. Abhi jada debo ke bare mein sochna baandh karo dimag ka bhajiya ban jayega.. nahi toh main bana dunga...

As far as I know during 2007 and 2009 they didnt declare state by state votes. As I said I dont know about 2005. You might be corrrect. I hardly care between Debo and Vinit. They both are good reality show singer and both of them are struggling in playback singing. Both of them sang one or two C grade songs with no real solid success. Debo , shaan, shanker, vinit jo kohi bhi apun ko kya....jahan ta tak dimag ka bhajiya banane ko sawal hai, aap try karo ,,dekhein kitna dam hai jo mero dimag ko bhajiya bana sake.

BTW Ye jo Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayn , Abhijeet Bhattacharya se le ke Shaan, Sonu hai na.. Sab aise bohut 'C-grade' films mein gane gaye hai... Film C-grade hone se Gaane C-grade nahi hota.. BTW do you think Rocky/Dashavataram/Aasma were a C-grade movies?? They were mainstream ones.. Ek jump mein koi bollywood playback sensation nahi banta.. If someone does that then he/she has good source/influence which vineet or debo doesnt have :(( ..

When I said C grade songs that mean C grarde songs. Though movies were A grade their songs were Mediocre C grade songs which no one ever remember. Kumar Shan started with hits songs from Ashiquie, Shaan sang his first song Musu Musu which was also big hits. I dont know why you brought Rahul in the discussion. Regarding C 2005 I said I didnt know that whether they declared zonewise or not. I thought they didnt but I said I might be wrong.
