And if you don't have a unique voice, don't go to music directors directly. Instead, try to form good relationship with some actors, directors or producers; they may help you.

Thank you sir! Could you please help me a little further so I can understand if I have the capabilities of making it in the industry? You said I need to have a unique voice and my singing should not be unpleasant to others. Could you please explain this in more details with examples? Which category does Himesh Reshamiya fall under?

Do u have an original voice, which is not a copy of Lataji, Ashaji, Salma Agha, Suraiya, Shamshad Begum, Shreya, Sunidhi or Alka, Usha Mangeshkar or even Kavita Krishnamurti or Rekha Bhardwaj and of late another Kavita (Wake up Sid song wali).
You need to get a certificate from JA for this...and only then, you are entitled to be a wannabe singer......
but...
with proper pronuonciation and punctuation (comas n colons) with proper urdu diction....
then maybe, our friendly-composer can give u a much needed break as a a new singer...or else ...
you are just worth a 5 out of 10!!!!!!!!!😛

Great input.....
But, most of us know this already......The life of those who struggle in Bombay to get a break is known to everybody because of the movies, reality shows, and media...

Poor bambooshoot is asking for some help so that she can get her break...You could have established your credibility here by giving her some ids, addresses, phone nos...Do you really expect others to believe what you claim to be?

You are a new member here... Are you a new music composer too?
If yes, then it makes sense....No established and busy composer has time to come here go through posts of other members and write posts to defend Javed saab...😳

If you are a real music composer, then kindly reveal your identity...If you are not, then you must know that trying to deceive people with false claims and fake name is wrong in moral as well as legal perspective....

Even when I posted a few comments and opened a few threads, I was asked if I was Raghuraj.

People tend to assume things with out any rhyme or reason.

Finally, had to tell them to ask the mods to check out if we were the same persons.

Decided to leave the forum after that .

Just came back to thank you and appreciate your thoughts. 😳

That's extremely sad! Who asked you if you were Raghuraj?

Oh brother! That's a very long list of names that you have taken. Ab yeh uniqueness lau toh kaha se? 😕 Maybe I can sing in a man's voice. A woman singing in a man's voice would be pretty unique, don't you think?? But this is very difficult for me as I have a sweet, melodious voice like Lataji😃.
Looks like the only option available for me is JA certification😊. If I get his certification maybe he can do shifarish for me to Shankarji. But my urdu diction is very bad. I'm from Mumbai and I speak in "e bhidoo", "apun bola" tongue. So now what do I do? Should I attempt to commit suicide as per Navaneeta's advice? I'm sure I can sing Jaala do...Jaala do with a teary face rather than with a smiley face like Rahul. You think that would help?

Bambooshoot, use software and change your voice and claim you have unique voice. Really that will be a big hit... 😆
