While I would agree with your post, some of the comments on judges and captains in this forum have indeed been intolerable.
While we as viewers admire them as singers, composers and lyricists, the main problem with many musical reality shows is that sometimes emotions take precedence over others and the way some of them fight openly in front of audience shows their level of immaturity and clearly deviates from one quality content-singing and music. Same happned in MKMM. Otherwise tell me, why did Shaan had to indulge in fights? Or why does mika use abusive language in front of janta and viewers? or why do some contestents fight for marks or leave the stage just for "marks"?
partiality? isn't it?
While your request is justified, we as forum members also make you a humble request to all showmakers:
give us good clean and quality music based reality shows where talent is judged without any biasness, be it regional or any other, fights are avoided and we only get to enjoy good and clean singing and music.
each show should also carry a code of conduct where any contestant or judge can be disqualified if rules are not followed.
Indian music is known world over for its clean singing and classical purity. Lets hope that these traits are preserved for years to come and to preserve these, first step is to make musical reality shows clean and abuse free.
And above all, show producers please DO NOT script fights just for the sake of TRPs.
Good quality show will automatically attract audience due to its simplicity and talent, and fights will equally repel those audience, resulting in drop of TRPs.
And I do admit mistakes, but let us make this forum clean, friendly without any bashing to any captain, judges or contestants. everyone is entitled to his/her point of view and someone here or there is a fan of somebody, but lets control our motions and respect others decisions also.
And finally, composers songwriters and producers in bollywood must at least give chances to new talent in the Indian film industry, which is the biggest in the world. Every year we have so many shows and judge 30 odd singers (on an average from 3 shows in 3 different channels) by SMS etc, so whats the point for having an overdose of musical reality shows when these deserving participants do not get a break in bollywood, even when they deserve? Yes, some have got it, but for how long can they sustain?
And some have faded away, even sank without a trace, including some winners in these shows. Can we have any answer for these people?
