Bambooshootji, i miss reading your posts as i haven't been as frequent on I-F as i used to be. You have spoken my thoughts and feelings so well in your post. I was just listening to the magnificent Teri Ore performance and noticed Gajji's political machine rearing its ugly head again. I'm not sure if it was some technical problem or what but Aneek's mic was turned down quite a bit in comparison to Shreya's. I mean even with his phenominal singing the music was almost over powering his rendition. Shreya could be heard clearly but Aneek's voice was harder to hear. I don't think this happened in his Mein Agar Kahoon or it wasn't so obvious. I'm just pointing this out because i noticed it and hate the way Aneek is being slighted by some unhappy, greedy, miserable, and powerful people who use him as a sacrificial lamb to make a statement. Hmmm on a lighter note though i do hope we can hear some more beautiful numbers like Teri Ore sung solo by the prodigy Aneek.... Why does Gajji bring heartbreaks for some of us in some form or another in every one of his shows? My heart goes out to Aneek when I see him sitting there quietly with a smile enduring this injustice. I remember that Aneek during challenge 2007 who swept us off our feet with his magic. Why is Gajji or the channel depriving us of that magic? I wish he could have got at least one beautiful song that he was allowed to sing solo. The ones that he got to sing were most average songs in the DJ rounds. I don't know the reason behind all this, but it is so obvious that someone out there is just trying to sabotage his career. Especially as we see all the praises that are being bestowed on him being edited. At times I wished that he would just refuse to sing. But yet he never stopped trying to ask for better songs. Of course, he got them, but at what cost? What is the point in Shreya coming and singing with him all the time? If he can carry off all those horrible DJ numbers, why not let him sing the songs solo that are of his own genre?
Whatever it is, I'm happy that he has been brave throughout this ordeal and never lost his patience. I hope that he comes out of this unscathed with a renewed hope to take on this world and show us what he is capable of.
