But anyways, u have a good point, and before this whole thing started, when we were deciding how to do it....i said here's how it will go to counteract exactly what you just said...

We will have 50% Judges. And 50% Audience. And those who give a reasonable reason to whichever marks they give, will have their vote counted once more (so it's worth more). so the 50% audience poll will consist of the actual poll plus the posts on the thread

xobile and others didn't really like that idea so i didn't implement it. what i liked about it was,

a) audience voting still will be done normally
b) just more votes to people who really mean what they give

but as xobile pointed out, it would be tough to judge what is a good reason and what is not a reasonable reason...



so we left it out....

one thing, please start the score from 5 or 6 to 10, it should not start from 1, because that causes a lot of discrepancy in the markings.

hmmmm....

positive: gets rid of hater votes. puts in more realistic votes. in the end, giving us a more honest and true result.

negative: not realistic. not how its done in real life. real life there are also crazy votes that bring total down, so its not really realistic and resembling of real life...

the score should not stoop below 5 or 6 for these legends i think 😊

yeah, just imagine, sonu, shaan, shankar, sukhwinder, kk, udit - all fighting to be the next indian idol.. and the most confused will be the audience, and the result would be that this year there is not one but six winners, so no indian idol for the next six years 😆

Hey the good news is this time even with all these out of place votes from audience, it's now 50% audience instead of 66%. hopefully that counterbalances...
