Shankar never compared Anwesha to Shreya or Sunidhi. I don't know about the YouTube comments, but I doubt many of those did either.

It's okay to say she will be a great singer in the future, and is a fantastic singer right now. But let's not compare her to Shreya or Sunidhi, or other female playback singers. She might reach the level of some other playback singers, but I don't htink she'll EVER be as good as the likes of Shreya Ghosal, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Alka Yagnik.


Sunidhi Chauhan at age 16 was nominated for female playback singer of the year next to Alka and Kavita. She was the youngest nominee ever. Shreya Ghosal at age 18 won Playback singer of the year, and was in the debates of best female playback singer. She was the youngest winner ever.

Anwesha has a long way to go for either of those to happen. She's just not on that level.

God only decides who is gonna be what at what age...

Like I said earlier, both Sunidhi and Shreya were better at the same age as Anwesha. Just lets you know she has to step it up.
