Captains Singing Vs The Team

The current matches bring up the question whether it is fair for a captain to come sing on the platform often. Obviously, we can not compare the judges who are well established with their team members. It is guranteed 10/10 when a captain comes to sing (the only exception i think was Mika). However, when a team member sings the range varies from 7-10 usually.

Also, isn't this a showcase for the 'newer' talent ? Won't the show become something else if every captain just started competing in every round?

I think they should have a rule that captains can sign only in the final round and maybe 1 more thats it.

What do u all think?

I agree with you. There should be a rule that judges get to sing only in the medley round. Because there is no such rule, they take advantage of it. I just think that it is unethical for a judge to sing in more than 1 round and unfair to the other contestants who are trying to project their talent through this competition. But the format of the show is such, unfortunately.

Yes. For Semi Finals Judges should not allowed to sing.. it is just not enough to follow rules.. people should not use the rules for their benefit. What Shankar did was ok from his side .. but just look at his desperation to win ... Can anyone compete with him as singer..ot he has lost faith in his team or his captaincy /.. I think a true leader will always provide opportunity to his team to face the pressure and then learn from mistakes ....

Shaan and Shankar both are great in their professions but yday's What Shankar did was not just not him. Even Himesh does not come himself ..
