Yes, that was a very nice comment by Shankarji. Anu has had the privilege of many good comments by musical greats. She is like the sun which is just waiting to rise and light up the day with her bright rays . I also pray that she gets some really good opportunities soon and takes the industry by storm👏.

Thank God that Shankar said exactly the same thing that we are saying for so long after CU. Anwesha is just next to Shreya and there is no one in between them. All are behind Anwesha.

Sunidhi Chauhan sang this song at the age of 18, much much much better than Anwesha. Granted she didn't sing it live, however, the voice quality and ability difference in the voices was definately noticable.

Is it your unadulterated adoration for Sunidhi that is making you post the same stuff over and over again in all threads? Mujhe to kahin se jalne ki buu aa rahi hai....


How on earth do you claim that Anu is less talented on the basis of a song which Anu never even sang once..If Anu sang the same song you could have at least given it a try to compare the level of singing of both Anu and Sunidhi.
It looks like your yardstick is 'age 16' and 'some award'....


How on earth do you measure somebody's talent by what award some one else got at the same age?
They are not even contemporaries for God's sake...

Just because Anu didn't get some award at the age of 16 or whatever like Sunidhi, she is less talented, is it?
So, if Anu gets her break at the age of 21 instead of 16, she won't be at par with Sunidhi because of the difference of age in which they got recognition, hmm?

I was just commenting. Calm down.

I'm saying they shouldn't be compared right now. Anwesha needs to build her own identity first. I'm talking to hte people who ARE comparing Anwesha to the likes of Sunidhi and Shreya. Saying that those comparisons are absurd.

What is absurd is comparing singers based on awards. What is even more absurd is comparing the age at which they got the awards.

and ask whether Sunidhi could have sung this at the age of 14. And everyone knows the answer to that! Sunidhi is defintely immensely talented, but she does not have the kind of classical training required to sing this song. It is not even fair to Sunidhi to make such a comparison.

Having said that, I will also say that there is not a single female playback singer today who can sing with the power and josh of Sunidhi. Even Shreya! But it is not fair to say that Sunidhi is better than Shreya or Shreya is better than Sunidhi. Just like that comparison would be absurd, comparing Sunidhi's song with Anwesha's will also be absurd.

People here are only trying to say that Anwesha has tremendous potential and talent and has all the qualities of being successful. And we also acknowledge that this is not the only criteria for success. There are many other factors like luck, PR etc. As her fans, we can only pray for the best for her. And we really don't appreciate anyone butting in and trying to dampen our spirits.
