Oh yes he touched her feet, but what did he say after that remember? "Sab log dekh raha hai, aab to na koi misprint aur kuchh." 😆He is smart yaar.

When there is bad comments about Himeshji I dont cry or fight. I know he is a great talent as well as a great human being too. So when someone bash him, I have my enough logic to give a answer in his support.

Hey madhu - ya that could be the reason...if you have typed the interview on MS word, then jus copy a page of it at a time n post it here....

😆 ya even tho he said that tho...this issue will always remain between him n asha -

yep...i just get mad because generally i hate double standards anyway n when it comes to himeshji there are always double standards used against him but of course he has my full support forever 😉

I've never claimed all my songs are original: Pritam

Himesh Reshammiya is up to herogiri

Pritam on Himesh Reshammiya

By the way, have other filmmakers approached you to make on-screen appearances?
Have you lost it? I'm horribly camera conscious. I'll send you a VCD of a short film I acted in. If anyone sees that, no one will dare to even think of casting me in a film. Himesh Reshammiya is a different ball game. He has attitude, he looks cool in the promos of his film (Aap ka Suroor), I'm sure he'll be a good actor.

i can't believe Pritam said this 😲 ... i hope he's not being sarcastic ! 😛

Bobby wants to keep Katrina 'mehfuz'
<>document.write('Joginder Tuteja, ') Joginder Tuteja, IndiaGlitz [Monday, May 14, 2007]

Promotion of APNE is gathering steam and after an initial teaser featuring the three Deols together, music channels have now started featuring a track choreographed on Bobby Deol and Katrina Kaif.

A fast moving dance number composed and sung by Himesh Reshammiya, 'Mehfuz' is the number in question which has its setting on a stage created outdoors. The track has been set on the lines of some recent concerts by leading music channels which were held on open grounds with all the lights, pyrotechnics and the works in place.

Flashy in appeal, 'Mehfuz' boasts of ever-so-stunning Katrina Kaif shaking a leg or two with Bobby who carries on his rock star look from the days of SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM.

The film also stars Shilpa Shetty in lead with Sunny Deol while Aryan Vaid plays a baddie. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film was finished in a time span of 8 months and is now aiming for a late June/early July release across the globe.

Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2007 Challenge is an interesting exercise in differentiation. In particular, Sony Entertainment's Indian Idol torments it - it's a proven, global format, it's flashier and it has a very strong brand. So the challenge for SRGMP really starts with beating Idol. And you can see their very visible strategy in action in every episode.

SRGMP's differentiation seems to revolve around core Indian sensibilities. Where Indian Idol focuses on presentation, SRGMP constantly tries to put the focus on music. It also counters Indian Idol's jazzier format with a distinctly Indian structure - four gharanas competing with each other. And there's more: trumpets, conch shells, a shower of flower petals, some very colorful sets. It gives the show a look that is distinctly non-Indian Idol.

There are several things I enjoyed in the few episodes I've seen so far.

First, Bappi Lahiri cracks me up - and in a good way. I was never a huge bhakt of his voice but I loved the fact that he issued a non-trivial challenge to the legacy of Kishore singing his own tunes. While weighed down by a ton of bling. You can see his legacy in present day fashions and the self-propelled singing career of Himesh Reshammiya.

Second, there are some nice roller coaster rides to be had between the mentors of each gharana and the judges. The mentors (Ismail Darbar , Himesh Reshammiya, Bappi Lahiri and Vishal-Shekhar ) come across as poor people managers - often railing on their contestants and creating an aura of gloom over the very talent they groom.

And then Asha Bhonsle takes over as a judge - and she keeps it real. She gently dispenses advice to the contestants that is usually accompanied by a brilliant technical breakdown of the song. And that puts the show back on an even keel. At one point she delivers a nugget to a hopeful: "Andar se dance karo," she tells her.

Third, the host Aditya Narayan is all round likeable and hugely personable. I kind of enjoy the way he gels and makes his hair stand up - making his bobbing head look really big and his hands incredibly small. In fact, I think I shall call him "Head" with much fondness.

Now, will this spectacle work? Initial viewings suggest it still might not connect with audiences - especially younger ones - the way Indian Idol might. But the immediacy of reality TV dictates that anything can happen and verdicts must be withheld till the very end.
