"The whole of India is "dancing to the tunes" of Kajra re, the song from Aditya Chopra's Bunty Aur Babli featuring former Miss World Aishwarya Rai along with the father-son duo of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, a recent survey has revealed.
Kajra re was the choice for best song among the maximum number of people in a survey carried out by a film trade journal.
In the survey, 500 people from different age groups, from metropolitan cities in the country were asked to choose the best song from among six shortlisted songs - Kajra re from Bunty Aur Babli, Woh lamhe from Zeher, Just chill from Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya, Aashiq banaya aapne from Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Dus bahane from Dus and Tauba tauba from Kaal. Some 35 per cent them chose Kajra re as the number one song while 20 per cent selected Aashiq banaya aapne from the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne as the best song.

Incidentally, Kajra re was also voted the best song in terms of choreography with 27 per cent of people voting it as the best choreographed song. Dus bahane was at second position with 26 per cent of people voting for it while Just chill from Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya was third with 21 per cent rating its choreography as the best.
Trade sources say Kajra re is easily the most popular song across the country today considering that it is at the top of the countdown shows on various entertainment channels in India.
Also, the fact that a record number of mobile phone users in recent months have chosen the song as either their ringtone or their caller tone is a further indicator of its popularity, they say.
