Update for Tuesday, June 15, 2010 - episode # :

Opening scene: Tamil is handing over MK to his parents. MK cries to his father, mother, anyone who will listen - why me? He bawls on Chithappa's shirt (who looks too old to have a young daughter like Meena), and KS scolds him for being so tender-hearted. Tamil interrupts and then proceeds to give a lecture of her own, on how one must never give up, regardless of gender, and cites her own example for hiding all her problems behind a smiling face (blowing your own trumpet, lady?). KS thanks her for bringing back MK safely and she takes her leave. Mrs. KS and KS decide to visit a repured astrologer nearby so they can do all the parigaarams.

Karthik enters and tells Meena to bring his food to his room. KS comes in and scolds him for leading Prema on , he denies having led her on, Saravanan comes in and tells all about his pawning the ring and using the money for his own use. He continues to deny, and then says that Saravanan is meeting his AE in private and is using this as a diversionary tactic..Saravanan denies it, KS and KK look at each other and decide to go to Alangudi for parigaarams.

KS and wifey go to MK's room and find him lying on the bed, and take leave of him after encouraging him to go to the store and resume his usual schedule.

Tamil's house, mom is doing Puja, all the family assembles and they do community puja. She thanks God for this day, since they are going to get their house back, and dad asks when the money will be available. She says that Mr. Varadarajan has said that he will come there at 7:30. Everyone is waiting, no signs of him, and she and the others are waiting anxiously.

Thodarum ....

Rojaaaa, please, please don't get these feelings! Then the whole episode becomes a RKO!

Update for Wednesday, June 16, 2010:

Thamizharasi's house - everyone is looking at the clock. It is 7:30, the time when Thangarasu promised to come with the money. Annamalai walks up and down, it is 8:00 a.m Some more time passes, he asks Tamil to call Thangarasu. She doesn't feel right about doing so, but Kavitha and the others persuade her. Finally she calls, the phone has been switched off. She thinks something may have happened, so she and Meena decide to go and find out.

Thangarasu's house - the whole house looks ominously quiet. Mother and daughter walk up to the door, Ashok is standing there. He rudely asks them why they are there, Tamil says they have come to see Thangarasu Sir, he says that his dad cannot see them and asks them to leave. Once again, she explains that he was supposed to come to her place, and she was wondering why he hadn't come, and Ashok again asks her to leave. Meena intervenes and asks him why he is being rude, and Tamil says she will call him herself and goes near the staircase and calls out, Sir, sir, neenga yen varavillai? She calls again, and Mrs. T comes out and says "Oh, you want to see Sir? So you think you can come and call him and he will come, this is the influence you have on him? Come, see for yourself, he will not come to see you," and drags her into a room. There is a shocked look on Tamil's face. Roja, inimel indha guess work ellam vittu vidungo,, please?

As Roja guessed and Laksh feared, the man has gone to visit the other logam (paralogam). Now follows a string of insults and screams, and I didn't get all of it, but the gist of it is that they insinuate that there was some kind of relationship between Tamil and Thangarasu, so the onlookers start whispering among themselves. Tamil tries to defend herself, in vain, then she wants to go near and pay her last respects, but Ashok grabs her by her hair and shoves her out rudely. My BP was really high at this point and I wanted to turn off the TV, but, alas, my update awaits!

Tamil and Meena return home, silent and downcast. Annamalai, Kavitha and the other two sisters each question them, but they don't say anything (enna, vaayila kozhukkattai irukka enna? vaayai thorandu solla vendiyadhu thaane?). Annamalai keeps saying that Thangarasu is a man of his word, Kavitha says that if he didn't give the cash, what kind of a man is her, or something like that (sorry, I am not good at following dialogs closely!) and Tamil finally speaks up. She tells Kavitha not to speak ill of the dead, and all are shocked. She then says that all is over, they are back where they started, and Annamalai wants to go and pay his respects, but she stops him, saying they will probably insult him. Annamalai is surprised, then she tells him that she and Meena were thrown out of there, and she thinks that she will have to go and find a new job, because Ashok will make sure that she doesn't have a place there any more. Kavitha assures her that with all her ability, she will surely find a new job.

Update for Tuesday, June 22, 2010:

Periyavar tells KS how he couldn't take the trouble created by Nandini, and how he felt when Pazhani told him what had happened, and that is why he left them and went looking for God and peace. He feels that if it had been two sisters married to two brothers, they would have adjusted to each other (but in serial land, nothing is a given, don't you know that?), so that is why he advised KS to get his sons married to daughters from the same family. Then they could unite his sons, who have no othumai right now, and KS won't be in the same situation as his father. He leaves after saying all this, overriding KS and KK's protests and pleas. Btw, I keep waiting for that fake mustache on KS's face to drop off - just a stray wayside thought!

Tamil is getting ready to go somewhere, mom wants to know why she is going to the shop after saying that she was not going to work there anymore, she clarifies that she is going to hand in her resignation and look for a job elsewhere. Annamalai comes in looking tired, he says he was cheated by the PA of the minister, who said that he would arrange for a loan only if he was given a bribe. Tamil tells her father not to worry, she says that she expected this all along, and says that they will manage this somehow. Meena starts crying as always, when will KadavuL listen to us, when will anything good happen? Kavitha says she has an idea, she thinks that if they approach a finance company, they should be able to get a loan for Rs. 50 lakhs, since they have property worth Rs. 3 crores, but Tamil says that the last time she went to see a financier, she got arrested and she is afraid. Kavitha says that she can do it if she has nambikkai, and Tamil agrees.

Vasanthi is looking for bangles at the stand outside her house, and the boy at the stand is watching her closely as she pockets something without paying. He catches her red-handed, but lets her off and says it is his gift. As usual, she asadu vazhinjifies and says that she likes him just like she likes her bangle and goes, while he is plotting to get his payment from her in other ways (birth of yet another prospective villain!).

Tamil goes to the sweet shop, is greeted by everyone. She goes to Ashok's office, apologizes for going to the store and meeting him, but explains that she has come to hand in her resignation in person. She says that she came there to see her father's store for the last time, because it is like her porandha veedu. To her surprise, he apologizes to her, says he has misunderstood her all along and says that he has changed (yet another overnight change!) after his father's death. He says that he insulted her at his house and now realizes what a big mistake it was, and realizes all this only after losing his father. He says that he doesn't know anything about the business, and wants her to run it as before. He used to be jealous of her, now he sees that his dad was right about praising Tamil, and asks her to return to her former position because he doesn't think he can run it, so that his father's aatma can get peace. She is surprised at this change in him.

Update for Wed, June 23, 2010:

As I said earlier, no RKO's!

Tamil is surprised at Ashok's change in behavior, but he insists that she should go back to work and tears up her resignation letter, so she takes her seat. Her friend wants to know what happened, and she explains about the sudden change. Her friend is also surprised at this change in Ashok. Suddenly she sees a customer entering, it is the guy who came to see her the other day (can't remember his name, but the same guy acts as Dheena in TMS). Her friend teases her, and she gets up to greet him. He says he is awaiting a friend, who is parking the car outside (how does he do that on Usman Road?).

The friend enters and Tamil is shocked to see that it is the Inspector who booked her when she went to the lodge to meet the financier. She doesn't know what to see, her fiance Prakash asks her why she is nervous, her friend Priya says she is a typical tamil ponnu, that's why. Priya keeps teasing him, asks him if he came to see Tamil, asks the friend if he is married, and if so, he should give some tips. Finally Tamil asks them to sit down, but the fiance says that they want to buy some sweets, so Priya gets the sweets ready. When the sweets arrive, he starts to pay, Tamil says she will pay, he insists that he should pay, Priya says that Tamil insists on paying when her sister comes to eat, so they are both alike (somebody please tell this Priya to stop being such a pest). Finally he agrees to let Tamil pay, and then they leave. Once outside, the friend says he has left his keys inside, and goes in to talk to Tamil. He tells her that he realized after Mr. Thangaraj came that she was innocent, he says that he will not tell his friend anything, and he wishes her the best and leaves.

KS and KK return home. They are greeted by kutty Meena and Paati. Pazhani comes and updates KS on all that has happened during his absence, but KS looks strangely at him. He asks if Pazhani has told him everything, P says Yes, and then KS says he has hidden something all these years and their father told him everything. Paati asks him if he saw their father and he says he saw his father in Alangudi, found out why their dad left them "Raavodu raavaaga" and asks P why he hid the entire matter. He explains how their father left because of the lie said by Nandini and blames himself for getting P married to Nandini, and says he should have got P remarried. Paati wants to know what else father said and KS says that father said that their three sons should get married to sisters, and Kk agrees with what father said.
