Well, if she is giving him competition what exactly is she doing? Success of one's competitor comes always at the cost of one's failure. If there businesses are in different domains and never cross roads or have a 'non competition' contract (which neither IMV for sake of his malicious purpose nor D for her self esteem would ever agree upon), it's ok. But if she is running a business which is at least a potential rival if not a current rival of VBE, she is jeopardising IMV's and VV's business.

It's best to nip your competition in bud and is a cardinal sin to water it.

However, I reiterate that it's perfectly alright to work for her own success and business even at the expense of her husband's and DIL's success and business but not right to consider herself as a good bahu while doing so (atleast not as good as they are making her out to be) on the pretext that it was a deal accepted upon well in advance before marriage.

She is definetly not malicious like IMV but is equally self centered (certainly not as selfless as she acts like). And so if IMV is considered a bad FIL, atleast she shouldn't be considered an ideal bahu but just a 'not bad' bahu who doesn't have a malicious intent. I have never considered her a bad or malicious bahu but I have always considered her far from the ideal bahu she pretends to be.

Devki does not hesisate to depend on VV for a lift to office with her stupid arguement she is saving a meagre 100 rupess/1000 rupeesss👎🏼 on a taxi by wasting VV's time N crores of money making deals...she disrupts his schdules his appointmenst, foriegn inestors for tht matter anyone serious wudnt wait naaa, shez risking his crores worth of deals saving her possible 100/100 rupess u see independent woman she must b using her own money for taxi...but she wants to b independent lady in her business wah wah!!!

Devki Virani Shah foreign returned is innocent enough not 2 book a taxi and shez very intelligent wasting time gosssping with Baa and her husband insted of making her way 2 wrk esp when she had no means of transport, booking a taxi was just a phone call away...what a tough decision it was for her to make n abv all..she showed her true colors what truly a faithful devoted loving wife she is.

All these are subtle hints thts Devki is not truly innocent yaa as earlier said not truly Intelligent infact not truly a person who can balance her professional and personal lives..she can by no way b successful in toppling IMV, if she still can do it the credit goes to the stupidity of pppl making this show who might hype yaa fake it as her intelligence but truly thsi simple incident exposed true identity of what she means living independently, what she supposedly good at desicion making, how intelligent she is not 2 waste her own precious, but very cunning n smart how to waste others time, how to exploit her husband and incurr him losss and what will b VV's fate if he depends on her in future for his needs...shez gg 2 just leave his on the streets n walkaway and btw shez gg 2 talk negatively abt VVs career being a flop when he looks for work...just a perfect scenario how she dealt with her dad...this is such a wonderful example totally exposing Devki character of future...

she is a totally selfish person, pretending 2 b nice ..but shez cunning infact more cunning than IMV and thts how shez gg to topple if she ever will, Baa will sing she is good saraswathi lakshmi and and Durga avatar and everyone will believe coz noone can think beyond really and question baa y shez saying all those things BAA is omnipresent and omnipotent ..whatever she says is a Gods verdict...this is how she will make Devki fly yaa suppoort whatevr u want to calll it

this is the story of the future... Devki shah virani deos not follow only good rules ...she can bend rules if.she wants her demands 2 b met by hook or crook...
