Face-off!

The final episode of Roadies is finally here! Kiri, who got the highest votes is back on the show after winning the wild-card entry task. Now the competition gets tougher as Nauman, Palak and Kiri battle it out to win the title and prize -money. Screen talks to Palak and Nauman about their last- minute preparations

Palak, you are known as quite a controversy queen. Would you like to set the record straight once and for all?
Who says I am the controversy queen? I am not like that. What is shown on TV is very different from what I am in real life. Everything on the show happened at a time when we didn't have time to think about what we were doing. Every Roadie wanted to win and they were all working towards that one goal. So we never realised what is wrong and right.

Nauman, Poulomi was rude and called you a coward in the previous episode when she maintained that she didn't have any problems with you till the end. Why do you think she did that?
Nauman: Everyone thought Poulomi was smart and she played her cards really well to reach the finals, considering that she never performed a single task. But when I threw her out in that episode she was just embarrased. I could have easily given it back to her but I understand what she must have felt at that time.

What are your chances of winning?
Palak: My competitors are guys, so I guess my chances are 50 per cent.
Nauman: I would always like to be optimistic and would want to think that I have a really good chance. I don't want to be over-confident though.

What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Palak : I am smart when it comes to performing tasks. You need to be calm and composed. You shouldn't get over-enthusiastic so that way I weigh all my options and go for the tasks. But I am hydrophobic and acrophobic, so it became really difficult to perform.
Nauman: I think my determination, passion and confidence are my plus points. I know I will give my best but most of the roadies are against me on the show so that is a threat to me.

What does it require to be a Roadie?
Palak : You need to be a combination of everything. You have to be good at tasks, have the Roadie spirit and be aggressive.
Nauman: You need to be smart. If you're smart and perform well it is a killer competition.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate yourself as a Roadie?
Palak : There are some plus and minus points so I can't say that I am perfect. There have been times when I was right and some times I was extremely wrong. So I really cannot rate myself.
Nauman:I would give myself an 11 on 10.

One contestant you were really fond of on the show?
Palak : Bobby. After reaching the finals I read her blog and she has written that she wants me to win. There were a lot of misunderstandings between us on the show but now it's all cool.

One contestant you would never want to meet again
Palak : I wouldn't want to meet Tamanna ever again. I can't stand her.
Nauman: Palak. I am allergic to her. She is responsible for chucking my best friend, Sufi, out of the show.

Nauman : Tammy and me are very good friends. We were friends on the show and will be off the show. That will not change.

Who would you like to compete with in the final episode?
Palak : Definitely Natasha. She is a tough competitor and she was voted out very unfairly. She wanted to save me and I want her to get an equal chance to prove herself.
Nauman: I am the best, but if I had to choose it I would be Sufi. I don't think Palak or Poulomi are competitors and I like to compete with somebody who is equal to me.

Do you think you have made optimum use of the second chance that you got?
Palak :It is a very weird show and we have to play a lot of politics there. At times, you don't have an option but to be a little manipulative if you want to stay on the show. I never expected that I would reach the finals after being voted out once. But it has been a great journey and I have no regrets!
Nauman: Being a good human always pays and I was a deserving Roadie. I totally capitalised on it.

Describe the Roadies experience.
Palak : Roadies has been a tough journey and I haven't faced all that in real life. I have never hit anyone in life and it was really difficult. It was literally hell down under for me but I hope it doesn't happen in the future.
Nauman:The final episode is going to be the best. My stint with the show has been good. I've made some really good friends. I am a better person now.

Would you like to host Roadies if given a chance?
Palak :I have just reached the finals. If I win, then I would obviously want tohost the show. But I don't want to be over-confident.
Nauman:Why not? I would take up anything that comes my way and Roadies is big.

nauman seems to be little overconfident. 11/10 is a little too much.
