, is all set to join the cast of
Molkki
, which features
Priyal Mahajan
and
Amar Upadhyay
as the lead couple.
show is set to go in for a time leap and Ankit will play Daksh, the new hero opposite Purvi (Priyal).
Informs a source, “Before the leap, Purvi will meet with an accident and land up at Daksh’s home in Delhi. He is an affluent businessman and a gentleman. Daksh and his family will look after Purvi. Soon, the two will develop a liking for each other. His entry will result in a love triangle.”
Ankit says, “It is challenging for an actor to enter a show midway and establish a connection with viewers, who are already used to watching a set of actors. But the advantage is that it’s an ongoing show and already being watched by the audience. I don’t have to wait for things to pick up. I can just start my work and get back on air.
Ask him if he is prepared to return to work for good and he replies, “I just want to go with the flow. I am not coming with a plan, and nothing is fixed or decided. Let’s see what luck has in store for me this time.”
