Anjali lights the havan kund , all servants line up and watch the ritual . BG song plays “ Kaise hai yeh sansaar , jeena huva dushwar....”
A teary eyed Purvi with bricks shackled to her ankles drags herself around the havan kund as Pranjali smirk and Sakshi watches without any remorse ,.... feeling Happy to show Molkki her place .
Anjali recites humiliating and insulting words for Molkki Purvi as she weeps uncontrollably .
Soon we see Mukhi arriving ...he is appalled at the sight of beloved Bawri being tortured in this manner , he shouts at every one , how dare they do such a thing !
Anjali exclaims at Mukhi return so early ? Sakshi is surprised at his arrival, Purvi smiles with relief .
He goes up to Bawri n sees all the tortures she has undergone, he wipes her face with his hanky n removes the black marks on her cheeks n Tilak, he removes her garland , he removes n throws away the bricks tied to her ankles, he cups her face lovingly and she weeps looking at him, Mukhi feels her pain silently .
He confronts Pranjali and Sakshi for doing this horrible thing to Purvi.
Sakshi retorts back that why should he be so angry ? They were observing the traditional Molkki divas rituals , this was followed in the rewari village too for hundreds of years . If Mukhi could observe traditional rituals then being mukhiyani it was her duty to observe rituals too ? Mukhi states this ritual was solely to humiliate n torture molkki’s . It was to degrade women .
He is shocked n regrets he did not abolish this tradition and ritual . This was only to humiliate and torture molkki’s , he calls up his Panch of panchayat . And passes the order to immediately abolish the Molkki parampara and all rituals and customs attached to Molkki .
There will be no Molkki and no torture of any woman in the name of Molkki divas or any other ritual . . Pranjali are shocked n angry , Sakshi fumes with jealousy .
Mukhi holds Purvi’s hand and pulls her away from there . Pranjali and Sakshi watch with jealous fury as PurVir walk hand in hand to their room . Mukhi seats her on the bed .
He assures Purvi that he will not tolerate any one torture her . Purvi thanks him for rescuing all the molkki’s and giving them respect . He was their saviour .
Sakshi is very upset , she is further instigated by Pranjali to confront Mukhi .
Sakshi confronts Mukhi for changing the rules according to his conveniences . He wanted to stop Molkki from leaving his haveli because he had grown fond of her so he used the custom of Molkki price repayment to stop her . Now he could not bear to see her going through the Molkki divas ritual so he abolished the custom itself , he was not doing justice but he was bending the laws as per his whims n fancied and his pleasure and his beloved Molkki Purvi’s comfort . He was not acting lawful but he was acting selfish .
Mukhi assures he did everything for the betterment of humanity .
Sakshi gives him kasam on her name n on children’s name and asks him to reveal if he had any fondness for his Molkki .
Mukhi reveals he did have liking for his Molkki and he had started loving her .
Pranjali watch them secretly n smirk as the rift between Sakshi n Vir .
He explains to Sakshi, that in the beginning he hated Molkki n did not even feel like looking at her . But slowly her honesty, her goodness, her loving nature , her caring for the family n kids made her win everyone’s hearts and she made place for herself in the hearts of all family members including him .
he assures even if he loved Bawri he will respect Sakshi in every manner she deserves, he will take care of Sakshi all his life and fulfil all her needs, he will never give Sakshi any chance to complain,
Mukhi walks away .
Sakshi complains she has lost his love .
sakshi goes to her room and sulks ,,she recollects her marriage , her griha Pravesh, her romantic moments with Mukhi , his care during her pregnancy etc . She weeps that she has lost her love .
she feels the world had ended for her .
Mukhi walks away and meets the kids playing in the garden . He scolds them and orders them to go back to their room and study .
Kids and Purvi are taken aback at his rudeness , the kids run away n retreat to their room. Purvi wonders something was amiss ,, what could be the reason behind his behaviour !!
