I agree that she doesn't need Vir's permission to make friends. But given the history between Karan n Purvi and between Vir n Chaurasia, I would expect Purvi to defer to Vir's experience and also be more circumspect about her own interactions with Karan.

the issue here is that she is shown to be young n naive...and the typically youth have the confidence that they know best!

Oh absolutely! A wife cannot/should not live her entire life by her husband's rules or his likes/dislikes.

But here we are talking about sapola. The same guy who put up bikini pics and the faces of these girls. He was not above drugging her and leaving her for dead. He did redeem himself supposedly but the initial distrust about him just can't evaporate. Also, the history between VPS and Chaurasiya is murky. Purvi knows that and she respects VPS too much to ignore that fact.
