This post is so wonderful! Kudos to you man for drawing my attention to these technical details.

Yesterday, when I had seen this scene, I had noticed how the show hadn't chosen to go the flashback way and instead showed this scene as if it was happening right in front of his eyes and I loved that idea. But the fact that it was shot in one take is just so awesome.

The makers of this show has chosen to use effects that we normally don't see in TV and now I love this show all the more. And man, I must commend you on your observation. So far, this show has become an obsession for me due to the writing and of course the incendiary chemistry between the leads. I loved how much care the writers were putting in order to keep the essence of each character intact. But the fact the the director and cinematographer are shooting all scenes so creatively, makes me even more obsessed.

Also the rain water scene was the first hook for me too. I loved how they showed us a real picture of poverty instead of romanticizing it. The rain for the poor and homeless is not a romantic experience. Purvi's family were literally struggling to fill their stomachs each day and the show just depicted that. We hardly see that in our serials or movies.

Even I was shock when they use dolly zoom effect after that scene I start paying more attention in this show

Actually there was one show which I used to watch there they have shot a dance sequence in sangeeth function in one shot without break.... That's my favorite one.....

And the chef kiss one is my favorite too... I just loved it how they zoom in and zoom out.... 👏

Can I also mention the dark sunlight night shot they do as well...

In the scene where Vir gives Purvi water after the wild dogs attack... and then the basketball lift scene... The angle shots they do... and then add in the sunlight dark visual shot to it, is nicely done too...
