Maybe the stepmother reveal is later? I didn't get any hints she was his stepmother in the first episodes?!

But I also didnt see grey shades yet but then again, she did stay quiet when Purvi was getting accused until Bheem(Bhim) mama spoke up that she didnt steal the necklace...

Also seeing Surpriya a grey shades character will be different to the other mother roles she has played
