Yes Arwen I read the Trilogy before I watched the movies. I feel that the movies did fair justice to the novels. See I decided to read the books when the promos/ teasers of FOTR was shown and I was mesmerised by the scenes. And I decided to be prepared before I plunged into the epic journey. And I was hooked completely. And I don't regret it till date. 😳

• Your favorite character/s in the movies? And you absolutely fell in love with___________?😳

Well my favourite characters would be - Frodo, Sam, Aragorn, Arwen, Faramir, King Theoden and of course Gandalf. Also Eowyn.

No prize for guessing I absolutely fell in love with Aragorn 😳☺️😍 ... my kind of man. Sigh!

• The character/s you loved to hate or hated to love?

I absolutely hated Shelob, Saruman and Sauron and of course Wormtongue. I don't think I need to add the orcs and the uruk-hai and others 😕😆

And I loved to hate Gollum and Boromir initially. 😃

• Your favorite scene/s?

A scene that is forever imprinted on my mind is the scene where the FOTR are travelling inside the Mines of Moria and running towards the bridge to avoid the Balrog. I think it was an excellent scene.

Loved the Battle of Helm's Deep 😊 and when Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas retruend with the Dead.

• Were u irked by the changes they made in the movies with regards to characterization or incidents that were there in the movies but not the novels? (well this depends on whether u've read the books😊)

Of course changes were made but see it's very difficult to translate a novel in toto into a movie, especially some book like this. It's easy to visualise while reading a book as compared to watching movies. For ex, Faramir's character was changed a bit but I found it to be ok, given the fact that we may take eons to read a book, but for a movie we only have 3-4 hrs. 😊

• Did you felt that there were some similarites between LOTR and HP?

Well there are similarities in the sense that both are existing in the fanatsy realm and they carry similar messages that Good will always end over Evil, however strong Evil may appear to be. Otherwise for me these two series are not that similar.

• Which series - in your opinion - is better anyway? HP or LOTR?

Well this is a very difficult question but for me personally the LOTR series is much better, though I have complete sets of both series and love reading them. 😛

And finally:

• What do you think of the proposed prequel to LOTR..the movie version of the Hobbit? Are u excited about it or like whatever?

I am excited about this nw Project as it would enable us to see Bilbo's adventure and how he found out The Ring, and how Gollum or Smeagol as he was known then, was associated with the Ring. 😛
