Hello everyone🤗 Hi to you too !!!!!! ..... really missed you !!!!!! 🤗🤗 *return hus*
dont worry guyz... i m around... i just dont feel like posting that much😳 maybe its the heat & humidity or plan old lethargy😕 dont kno.... but i come see what is being posted....go thru other forums and am out..... I can understand ...... I too go thru that phase sometimes ........
initially though i had other reasons for not coming online..... i had gone to the book store and gotten a truck load of trashy novels........ Julie Garwood... Mary Jo Putney and other authirs who write novels of the M&B variety..... and oh bought 4 novels by Georgette Heyer as well Can you tell me which ones ? .... Ive never read one of her's before ...... now those remind me of Jane Austen I'd love to read one now 😳....... anyways when i start a novel i cant rest til i have finished it so normally novels take precedence over both TV and internet Me Toooooo .... while I'm reading ... it 's like I'm on a mission ...... everything else is put on the back burner ........... plus an over load of load sheddings meant that i stayed away from internet and hence ended up reading pretty much the whole day........ the novels are finished now... am waiting for my bro to come home for the summer hols..... his first order of business will off course be taking me toi the bookshop 😃...... Lucky you ..........!!!!
BTW my reverse sleep cycle has reached ridiculous proportions😆 i now go to sleep after having my breakfast in the morning.....around 8... OMIGOSH .... than i read the paper and than go to sleep around 9..... its driving my mom mad...she's like paglon ki taran saari raat jaagti reti ho😳 wait til my bro comes home...since his holiday sleeping habits mirror mine....except for the fact that he wakes up earlier than me..... i guess my mom will b going round the twist......😃 ...... I can imagine that ...... Poor Mom .... not one but two nocturnal creatures to deal with ????? Too much for a sane person !!!!!😆
well its dinner time so gotta go..... cya 😊
The young man who drove us couldn't be more than 23. He had a quick smile on his face as he asked us, "You from India?" and I nodded. "Oh one day," he continued, "I will go to India. I love your films!" I was surprised but Shahrukh Khan had already made cultural inroads into this country. Anyway I wasn't here to discuss SRK.
So we got ready for our first evening in Prague. A city which I was going to see shortly from a cruise boat. We were driven to the jetty where we boarded the boat. It was huge, and had two storeys. The upper deck which was open the middle one where the dinner and music was to be and the lower one was reserved for our group.
It was not a very wide river but was wide enough. The waters flowed gently as did the boat. We were going to be afloat for more than 3 hours. There were a few ducks and a few swans too. On the riverside, holiday makers were sitting and enjoying the weather which was warm by European standards. The river divided at a point into a fork. Trees lining the banks, washed their leafy tresses in the cool dark water. Blossoms which were blown by the wind fell in numbers on the water to form floral mats. Oh it looked so beautiful. We wined and dined and heard the singer crooning on the middle deck. Suddenly I felt so free, so much at ease and so elated. I stretched out my feet but drew my cardigan close around me for as the evening wore on, there was a nip in the air. I took in the sights of old castles and forts all around us. And of course the numerous churches, that were made defunct during the communist regime. There were several bridges on the river connecting one side of the city to the other. The most famous is "Charles Bridge".
