Hey sweetie.. a new batch for training started yday.. was totally tied down with it since the last few days.. hence could not login.

yes Ena!!!!!! 😆 inane gossip😆😆but in a way..the upper ten of the society always interests the man on the street na😆😆naturally only these rule ....there was a time when Aamir Khan said that it disgusts him to see News channels turn into Entertainment channels😆and now what is he doingI too am sick of this movie stuff always airing 🤢(cud be becoz I am not so much into film watching stuff😆)which Khan is against whom?which actress prevented another one from gaining limelight😕I am least bothered abt themit iritates me to the T..which only i know🥱

SWAT...gayiiiiiiii😆 under the Taliban rule..I am strangely surprised by the almost nil comments by the US administration..😕not strong worded ones.do not know the reason behind their silence.😆it was originally the Saudi rulers who followed Wahabbism gave financial aid to the Taliban.😆and now I read that after 26/11 they want to distance themselves from the Taliban(though i do not believe it🤢)Why should people blame only Mush saab when it was actually that Zia-ul-Haq..who brought the radicals into focus....that fellow died ..only his finger nails were recovered from the crash site those daysEna!!! I was surprised a few yrs back when I watched some educated Pakistanis expressing a desire that it is good if the Taliban took control😲😕becoz they will feel more religious and that to me was

Anyways..I think the US is on its last legs financially 🤢(baby steps now)I guess the violence wil increase more in Europe in the coming weeks due to job lossesBut technically speaking compared to this side of the world..there is unity among them👏perhaps..whites/whites feeling 😕

Speaking of which, ended up watching Billu Barber with my parents (dont know when was the last time I did that, but it was good fun, going with them 😊). Irffan sure knows how to act.

What a joke, Pakis saying that they will feel safer under Taliban...yeah right!!

Wasn't it the same sentiments echoed by Afganis when Taliban had started taking over.

Afganistan was in nefarious loathsome state.........and they looked at Taliban as their Messiahs, not realising that it was their ill-omeded, heinous & menancing new Messiah....which led them from darkness to doom!!!

It amazes me how religion can make masses so blind to what is good & bad......how ironical coz was it not just the opposite that should have had happened.

I think, falling religious diversity and the Islamisation of state policies are the two big reasons for public acceptance of religious extremism in Pakistan........ruling blinds by the blind!!!

@Blue. so true Vasu, so true.. the lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous..

I am actually feeling scared for Pakistan now. Talibanisation is the death knell for any state.. I so strongly agree with that. And Nupur is right.. look what they did to Afghanistan, even they were happy when Taliban had first started gaining stronghold there.

Taliban is only destructive, it is a parasite that feeds on weak ppl, and grows from strength to strength.

Pakistan is going the same way. Sometimes I feel like physically plucking Pakistan out from the geographical map, and throwing it in the ocean to sink.. if wishes were horses.. 😆

Did you read about the journalist Musa Khan? That was the name, right?

I still dont feel comfortable discussing this you know.. 😕

I am not into mooning over film stars. And the newer lot are thoroughly off putting. My POV

1. Abhishek Bachchan

Has no screen charisma. Has a wobbly atrocious lower lip due to which his speech rendition is awful. Has terrible hairstyles, none of which suit him. Has mediocre dress sense. Has a good height but lacks dash. Has little ability to emote subtleties. Impressed by his small role in Yuva

2. Amir Khan

Has tremendous screen presence. Has poor height but excellent acting ability. Hair styles are always new and can set trends among the very young neo literate youth. Has mediocre dress sense. Is terribly conscious of what SRK is doing and saying and never misses an opportunity to jibe. So as pompous as SRK. Impressed by Lagaan, Ghajini and one about a police officer with Nass. Shah (can't remember the name). Was not impressed by TZP

3. Salman Khan

Crudity personified. Impressed by ..........???????

4. SRK

Has good screen presence. Has poor height but excellent acting ability. Hair styles are nothing to rave about. Connects quickly and spontaneously with children (this I speak from personal experience at KL airport). Children are his major fans. Has the audacity to crack jokes that show him in poor light and comes through as pompous. Has the unenviable job of fighting off major stars and still holding ground. Had the decency to attend Parveen Babi's funeral. The only one who didn't try to take mileage out of it. Impressed by Swades, Chak de and Dil se

5. Hrithik Roshan

Is all round good. Most importantly maintains decorum in the media. Impressed by ..... JA and KKKG

Just three points to mention here ....... all my stray thoughts 😉

1. The US created Osama to fight the Russians in Afghanistan. Ultimately rebounded on the creator.

2. Pakistan supported Al Qaeda to create the Taliban. Ultimately is rebounding on Pakistan.

3. Indira Gandhi created Bhindranwale. Ultimately rebounded on her.

If you make a bed of thorns, you have to ultimately lie on it.

The aborigines made a boomerang as a weapon. We have now started playing with it as a toy. It doesn't have just scientific principles to teach us but also philosophical ones.
