Mera haath main jo Gulaab the

woh Gulaab saare bikharr gaye

meri aankh main woh jo khuwaab the

woh hi khuwaab mere ujarr gaye

jisse maine maanga tha baarha

woh hi shaks mujh se bicharr gaya

mera humsafar mujhe chor ker

kisi aur simt chala gaya

jisse saath dena tha ummer bhar

woh to do qadam bhi na chal saka
