Something struck me today. We all know how entertainment media at times tend to manipulate news and spread gossip/rumour, based on some source or the other... Ppl from the entertainment industry are used to it and either ignore it or capitalise on it or sometimes speak out against it.

In case of the producers of niel's film, i dont get their sudden backing out because of the news. In the first instance when the paper suggested the link between gunjan and niel, niel should have cleared it out wt the media. He chose to keep quiet abt it (was he right?) and the producers didnt say anything. But when the same thing got repeated, this time as a juicy gossip, the producers backed out. In real life, producers protect their team. They would hv talked to the director/actor and cleared it out wt media of necessary. The whole filming scenario is screwed too... Only gunjan and no other? The male lead hardly there? All she did was say dialogues!

The track itself was...well...botched. Not talking abt sajan tension or niel's stupid mistake after mistake, folly after folly...

And if u say it is bad publicity- well it is not such grave bad publicity. In real life we have seen such similar news being circulated, especially with some well known tv actors we all know. Yet just because of this, shooting doesnt stop. Bad publicity is when a serious offence takes place on account of the cast and crew. Remember my sajan-neil confrontation os? That is bad publicity- when he tried to hurt her.

Well this is w fiction show with loopholes certainly worth overlooking. But in some cases, i cant fathom why or how!

In s2, do u think majan were correct in what they did to sanu, mayank demoting nupur to status of student against her will (she could have taken up something like dramatics) and gunjan forcing sammy to study mba against his will and without asking his wishes...?
And while mayank's rustication of his wife is not justified (he didnt investigate properly), is gunjan's over reaction to sam's forced-lie justified?
