Mohit's B'Day seg @ SBS [U-Tube HQ Vid add*]

Anchor - And now, it is the turn of my non stop singing. The ocassion is such that no one can stop me from singing. Because we have to give wishes. So, happy birthday to you. Yes,  today we are celebrating Mohit Sehgal's birthday. So Mohit, many many happy returns of the day.

Reporter - You blew out the birthday candles, but what did you wish for??

Mohit - I do not ask for much. I only ask for the good health of my parents. And happiness for all, that is all. I don't ask much.

Reporter - You are about to cut the cake, and it is tradition, if it is Sanaya's birthday or Mohit's birthday,  both cut the cake together. So are you missing her??

Mohit - Yaa, obviously I am missing Sanaya and she will be missing me too. She is also feeling bad. She had just called me and she was feeling bad that she is not present here, but then I said, it is important. Her shoot is on and that is important now. It is a new show. So it is Ok. when she will be back, we will celebrate the birthday yet again.

Reporter - So assume she is here as she will see SBS...

Mohit - I will hold the knife in both my hands, one hand for Sanaya, one hand for me.

To fans and Sanaya. Say happy birthday to me. So thank you so much for all the wishes and so many blessings. I know people wish good for me. And they are really happy that I have come back in 'Qubool Hai'. So thank You so much for all that support and all that patience also. Thank You.

Reporter - it is tradition that when you celebrate a birthday, you ask the age...

Mohit - I am 28 young... not old!!

Reporter - Tell us your birthday plans.

Mohit - No special birthday plans this year. And if you say, it is special also as I am doing a show after a long time. So it is special. But, it is not all that special as Sanaya is not with me right now. But it is Ok, whenever she is back, we will celebrate my birthday and we will go for dinner together. SO, yaa, its good that I started afresh on my birthday. Started a new show, so feeling good.

The best birthday to date ... there is no particular birthday as such, but, last year we celebrated my birthday by going out of town, and all us friends had gone. And Sanaya had surprised me last year on my birthday, so I really felt good and touched.

Special , well, mummy makes 'Kheer' and 'Halwa'. A lot of yummy stuff like 'Gajar ka Halwa'. Not specifically for my birthday, but mummy was telling me that someone is to be visiting Mumbai, so she will send 'Gajar ka Halwa'.

All I want to say to Sanaya is work hard... she does. All the best to Sanaya for her new show. And I know baby, you will rock.

I am not expecting any gift and please baby, don't get anything. Just concentrate on your work and don't worry about gifts and all. Whenever you come back, we will go out somewhere and we will party.
