The extremely hot Raqesh Vashisth, who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television's Hongey Judaa Naa Hum, celebrated his birthday yesterday (1 September 2013).

On the occasion, this handsome hunk threw a house party for all his television pals last night. "Yesterday, I had called over all my close buddies from the television industry to my place to celebrate my birthday. Among the list of invitees were Hussain Kuwajerwala and his wife Tina, Sharad Kelkar and his wife Keerti, Barun Sobti and his wife Pashmeen, Riddhi's brother Akshay Dogra, Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal among many more. Riddhi and I played the hosts," he shared.

Any gift that you expected from your wife Riddhi? "I am not a materialistic person and moreover we all are grown up now. As a matter of fact, I don't even like if anything is written on a birthday cake. For me, birthday cakes are just meant as a dessert," Raqesh informs.

So when are you planning to make a comeback on the small screen? "Well, right now my first priority is painting and I am not thinking of doing television for some time. Since currently my heart and soul is towards my art work, I am now exploring that side of mine," he answers.

Talking about painting, Raqesh observes, "People go for meditation, but for me, my painting is my deliberation and stress buster. Through paintings, I vent out my negative thoughts. I think I am blessed with a creative vision. I dream a lot and have a habit of portraying my dreams. And would you believe that many event companies are approaching to showcase my paintings. So, very soon I am planning to hold an exhibition of my work. Before ending, I would thank everyone for wishing and loving me so much."
