After the ritual of pagphera,Mayank and Nupur were called for lunch.Gayatri showed him the dishes and said,"Sab aapke pasand se bana hai damaadji.Payal beti ne hume sab bataya tha.Ye le Nupur damadji ko khaana paros de."Suhaani asked,"Vaise Mayankji ghar mein yehi aapko khaana parosti hai na?"Nupur raised her brows and asked,"Ye kaisa ajeeb sa sawaal hua bhabhi?"Suhaani made a face and stammered,"Main-main to bas puch rahi thi,aise hi."Mayank peeped at Nupur with the corner of his eyes and gave a mocking smile and said,"Ha bhabhi aapki nanad mera itna khayaal rakhti hai,itna khayaal rakhti hai ke bas puchiye hi mat ke kitna khayaal rakhti hai."Suhaani blushed and replied,"Kya Mayankji aap bhi na...bas..."Nupur made a weired face and said,"Bhabhi,usne aapki nehi meri taarif ki hai.Aap bekaar mein kyu sharma rahi hai?"Suhaani assembled herself and said,"Arey Mayankji aap to kuch kha hi nehi rahe hai aur lijiye na.Arey Nupur de na."Nupur replied,"Aapke to bare chahite hai na bhabhi to aap hi dijiye na."Gayatri made an angry face at Nupur's reply and her way of behaviour towards Mayank and said,"Apne pati ko khaana parosne se koi chota nehi ho jaata Nupur.Ab teri shaadi ho chuki hai,aise nakhre dikhaana ab bandh kar de."Nupur bluntly replied,"Vo mere aur mere pati ki beech ki baat hai ma,thats none of your business,aap apna ghar aur apni society sambhaaliye."She threw the spoon on the dish and got up from her sit and said to Mayank,"Khaana khatam ho jaaye to jaldi aa jaana.Hume ghar ke liye nikalna hai."Saying she left from there to her bedroom.Mayank felt a little bit awkward and looked here and there.Gayatri,in order to manage the situation,said,"Uh...bachpan se hi aisi hi hai...thori si badmijaaz.Aap khaana khaaiye na damaadji."Mayank started eating again.Everyone in the dining table,without any more single word,completed their lunch.
Nupur,before leaving met only her father and left with Mayank.On the way,neither Mayank nor Nupur talked.Mayank,was both driving and for a second or two looked at Nupur.At last,Mayank broke the silence and said,"Main jaanta hu tumhaare personal maamlo mein dakhal dene ka mujhe koi haq nehi hai par jo kuch bhi dining table mein hua,that was very weired.Kahi na kahi mujhe aisa laga ke mere vajah se ye sab ho raha hai."Nupur replied,"Ha tumhaare vajah se hi ho raha hai sab kuch.Meri ma ne,khaana peena sab chorkar,mujhe emotionally blackmail karke tumse shaadi ke liye raazi karwaaya tha,sirf isliye taaki society mein unki naak uchi reh sake.Ma ne ek baar bhi mujhse nehi pucha,main manaa karti rahi par phir bhi aisa kiya par main itni achchi aur sanskaari nehi hu ke itna sab hone ke baad bhi main unse pyar mohabbat se baat karu."Mayank said,"To mere dad ne bhi to aisa hi kiya tha na."She said,"Tumhaare case mein to property thi,par mere case ma ki jaan thi.Dono mein fark hai Mayank aur main jaanti hu,jo faisla humne liya hai is shaadi ko lekar,usse kisiko khushi nehi hogi."He said,"Main jaanta hu,par unko bhi to samajhni chahiye na ke hamesha har cheez zabardasti se nehi hoti hai.Shaadi ki importance main bhi samajhta hu,par jo unhone kiya vo bhi khel nehi tha.Zindagi hamaari thi,that was injustice with us."Nupur said,"I know,isliye kabhi kabhi tumpar bohot zyaada gussa aane ke baad bhi,main tumhe kuch keh nehi paati kyuki tum bhi mere jaise hi phase huye ho."Nupur and Mayank supported each other honestly and blindly only in this case.This was the only situation where no one was their friend and only they are their best friends.While talking with each other,they reached their home.
When they came inside,Maadhvi,on seeing them,was very surprised.She asked,"Arey Mayank,Nupur tum dono to dinner ke baad aane waale the na?"Nupur looked at Mayank and he,instead of Nupur gave the reply,"Vo...uh...mom,Nupur ka mann nehi lag raha tha aap sabke bina.Yaha aap sabne itna laad pyar se usey sar par chara rakkha hai na,ke vo vaha rehna hi nehi chahti hai aap sabke bina."Maadhvi came to Nupur and rubbed her head and said,"Ha to hamaare ghar ki choti bahu hai,laad pyar to isey karenge hi.Achcha ab jab aa hi gaye ho to chalo jaao,jaakar dono araam karo.Bohot thak gaye hoge na.Jaao."Nupur and Mayank returned to their bedroom.While opening her jewelleries,she said to Mayank,"Thanks mummyji se jhut bolne ke liye."Mayank jumped on the bed and casually replied,"No need to say thank you.Ye tumhaare aur mere beech ki baat hai,as you said and its none of anyones business,to hume hi isey solve karni hai na.Aaj maine tumhaare liye jhut bola,kyuki isme main bhi related tha.Kal ko mere saath aisa hua to tum bhi mere liye jhut bol dena.Hisaab baraabar!"Nupur put her jewellery inside the wardrobe and took up another dress to change and was walking towards the washroom.Mayank whistled like a streetrat and Nupur stopped.She turned towards him and looked at him very surprised.She asked,"Gali ke gunde jaise lag rahe ho pata hai?"Mayank chuckled and replied,"Gali ka gunda???O really???Ye to vo hote hai jo aate jaate larkio ko cherte main to apni ek saal ki biwi ko agar cher bhi raha hu to isme kya galat hai?Vaise ek baat kahu,saree mein peeche se tum...bohot...s**y lagti ho.Agar hamaari shaadi aise nehi hui hoti to...allah kasam,ye mauka kabhi na chorta."Nupur put her hands on her waist and with a naughty grin asked,"To tumhe lagta hai ke main tumhe apni manmaani karne deti?"He put both his hands on the back of his head and rested his head on that and replied,"Humme kuch aise hunar hai ke larkiya khud ba khud hamaare taraf kheechi chali aati hai."Nupur noticed his expressions keenly,but one thing that Mayank didn't know was that Nupur was no less than him in any way.She turned her back towards Mayank and put her long hair on one side of her shoulder.Mayank was dumbstruck to find that Nupur was wearing a backless and she was looking damn hawty in that.She,peeped from her shoulder and said,"Humme bhi kuch aisi adaayein hai ke sab hamaare kadmon mein geerte hai aur khushi khushi barbaad hone ki tamanna bhi rakhte hai.Samjhe?"Saying she turned her head and winked at him followed by a flying kiss and she entered inside the washroom.Mayank hugged the pillow and said,"Mayank babu aapki begum to bari naughty shaughty hai."He gave a sigh and said,"Uff!...ye ek saal to humpar bhaari parne waala hai bye God!"Mayank loudly sang -

In the evening,Maadhvi called both Nupur and Mayank to have tea with them.Mayank was especially confused because,whenever there is a family tea evening,there must be something important to announce.Mayank was sitting making a tensed face hugging his pillow and looking at the floor.Nupur looked at his face and asked,"Aise cartoon ke tarah muh banaakar kyu bethe ho?"He looked at her and replied,"Pata hai hamaare ghar ek saath shaam ki chai kabhi nehi peete hai aur jab aisa hota hai,tab kuch bohot hi dhamaakedaar hone waala hota hai,I mean kuch important bataane ke liye hi aisa hota hai."Nupur,at first didn't pay heed to it but seeing his expressions of fear,Nupur sat beside him and asked,"To tumhe lagta hai ke aaj kuch aisa hi hone waala hai?"He replied,"Ha aur jo bhi kuch hoga mujhe nehi lagta vo hamaare liye achcha hone waala hai.Mujhe bohot hi buri waali gut feeling aa rahi hai."Nupur made a scared expression and asked,"To ab kya kare?"He replied,"Kuch bhi nehi chalo chalte hai,abhi ye avoid to nehi kar sakte hai na.Let's go."Nupur and Mayank got up and after taking God's name they left for the hall.In the hall,everyone were waiting for them.On seeing them,Payal said,"Aao aao betho tum dono ka hi intezaar ho raha tha."On hearing this,both looked with jerk towards Payal and Mayank muttered,"Dekha maine kaha tha na hume shaheed karne ka pura intezaam ho rakkha hai."Nupur swallowed the lump formed inside her throat and both sat on the chairs.Maadhvi said,"Actually aaj ye evening tea ka programme humne specially Mayank aur Nupur ke liye rakkha hai,kyuki hamaare paas unke liye ek surprise hai."Both of Mayank and Nupur's heart bumped loudly.He again muttered,"Lo daal diya hume coffin ke andar."Nupur picked up the cup of tea and acted to behave as normal as possible and after putting a smile on her lips asked,"Kaisa surprise mummyji?"Dhruv said,"Surprise mere aur papa ke taraf se hai."He handed Payal over an envelope and she gave it to Nupur and said,"Ab kholke dekh."Nupur opened the envelope and found two tickets inside it.She took out the tickets and asked,"Ye kya hai?I mean ye kisliye hai?"Payal replied,"Ye Canada ke do tickets hai,tum dono ke liye.Honeymoon trip!"This news came like a tsunami to Nupur and Mayank and Mayank who was sipping in his tea,gulped it in such a way that he started coughing.Nupur immediately patted on his back.After sometime,when he balanced himself,he again muttered,"Lo thok di aakhri keel."He asked,"Honeymoon bhejne ka plan aap sabne kisse puch kar banaya hai?"Shekhar said,"Isme puchnewaali kya baat hai?Shaadi hui hai honeymoon to jaana hi hai."Nupur tried to cancel the trip and replied,"Par mummyji,main nehi jaaungi abhi kahi bhi.After all didi pregnant hai,puri ghar ki zimmedaari aap par akele saup kar main kahi bhi ghumne shumne nehi jaaungi."Mayank agreed and replied,"Correct!Main bhabhi ko chod kar kahi nehi jaaunga,upar se bhaiya bhabhi ke maamlo mein kitne irresponsible hai.Vo agar meri bhabhi ka thora khayaal rakhte to baat samajhme aati par...Iam sorry main bhi nehi ja raha."Dhruv became angry on Mayank at his words and said,"Bara aaya bhabhi ka chamcha!Agar maine shaadi nehi ki hoti to teri bhabhi kabhi nehi banti isliye tu mujhe mat bata,tujhse zyaada khayaala rakh sakta hu main.Ek to janaab ke kadam ghar par teekte nehi hai aur mujhe khayaal rakhna seekhaane chale hai.Huh!"Maadhvi said,"Aisa to beta ho nehi sakta kyuki tickets non-refundable hai.Agar tum dono nehi jaaoge to bohot saare paise waste ho jaayenge aur Nupur,you know the value of money."Nupur became quiet because she was aware of the value of money,as well as the amount of loss.But still she made a pupy face and said"Par mummyji..."Maadhvi said,"Koi mummyji nehi...Ye mera hukum hai."Mayank said,"Mera jaane ka mood nehi hai mom."Payal replied,"Arey isme manaa karne waali kaunsi baat hai?Ghar mein itne saare log hai,achcha thik hai tujhe apne bhaiya par bharosa nehi hai par mummyji par to hai aur main apna khayaal rakh lungi.Vaise bhi 2 hafto ki to baat hai,tum logo ka hotel bhi book ho gaya hai,abhi cancel mat karo."On hearing about 15 days,Mayank screamed,"15 din???Mujhe isey 15 din akele jhelna hoga?"All remained open mouthed at his words.After saying it,he realized what he had done.He looked at Nupur and found she was glaring at him and grinning so hard as if she would now chew Mayank raw right now at that moment.Dhruv was very amused to see that situation and he muttered,"Now-you-are-gone-bro!"Nupur said,"Mummyji,aapke bete ko jaana hai ya nehi,I don't know,main zarur jaaungi kyuki mujhe paiso ki value pata hai."She raised from her sit and said to Mayank,"Jhelna to mujhe tumhe par raha hai,isliye achcha hi hoga ke tum mat aao because,kamsekam 15 din to mujhe tumhaari shakal nehi dekhni paregi."Mayank grinned and put the cup on the table.He too stood up and said,"Uh...mere dad ke paise aur tum akele aish karogi no way.Bhaar mein jaao tum!Main bhi Canada zarur jaaunga.Tumhaari vajah se main apna trip cancel kar du aisa to ho hi nehi sakta.Vaise bhi aajkal tumhaare hone na hone se mujhe koi fark nehi parta hai,kyuki maine ek cheez jaanli hai ke chipkali har ghar mein hoti hai aur uski abhi tak koi davaai nehi banaayi gayi hai and I promise jisdin vo davaayi bani sabse pehle main tumpar apply karunga."Nupur,only and her God knew how she controlled herself for not pulling his hair.She gave a mocking smile and replied,"Same here my dear hubby darling!Vo kya hai na cockroack maarne ke chahe kitne bhi spray bazaar mein milte ho,par vo itne dheet hote hai,ke spray karne ke baad bhi,idhar udhar lurakte huye mil hi jaate hai.Moti chamri waale gende!Huh!"He yelled,"Main cockroach hu?"She too asked,"To kya main chipkali hu?"He said,"Ha ho aur vo bhi sabse dangerous waali."She said,"To tum bhi ho aur sabse ghatiya waale."Eveyone in the house were silent and were staring at them without blinking.Nupur and Mayank were so busy arguing with them that they didn't realise that they were fighting in front of the whole family.When they cooled down,Nupur,at first looked towards the others and as soon as her eyes fall on them,she covered her mouth.She somehow apologized to all and ran back to her room.Mayank made a baby face,picked up his fry and returned to his room.
It took a few seconds for the four of them to overcome what had happened just now.There was still a silence.Dhruv was the first person to speak up.He said,"One doubt!Chipkali aur cockroach ki shaadi bhi hoti hai,aaj pehli baar pata chala."At this statement,made by Dhruv,everyone exchanged looks with the other and all burst out into laughter.Maadhvi said,"Bhagwaan bachaaye!Shaadi ho gayi hai,par abhi bhi bachcho ke tarah larte hai."Payal said,"Pata nehi ye dono bare kab honge."Dhruv said,"Pehle jo aane waale hai inhe aa jaane do,tabtak bachcho ki kami ye dono puri kar denge."Shekhar said,"Pata nehi ye dono Canada jaakar kya gul khilaayenge."Dhruv said,"Arey dad,ghar mein hum sab hai na,waha to koi nehi hai,tab to inhe na chahte huye bhi ek dusre ka khayaal rakhna hi hoga na.Just relax!Ye abhi lar rahe hai na,par jab inme pyar hoga tab dekhna inka yehi jhagra hum miss karenge.Jo bhi keh lijiye,ye dono larte ekdam perfect husband-wife ke tarah hai."Maadhvi agreed,"Ha ekdam made for each other Jodi hai dono ki,na kisise kam aur na kisise zyaada."They had a light-hearted chat and they completed their evening tea.
