In the party,while Nupur was talking with Gunjan,Samrat came to her and said to Nupur,"Shaadi bohot bohot mubaarak ho bhabi."Nupur smiled fadely and replied,"Shaadi...Samrat ab tum to kamsekan..."He said,"Ok ok ok.Abhi mere saath chaliye,aapko kuch special logo se milwaata hu,jo aapke patidev ke is haalat ke asli zimmedaar hai."Samrat,held Nupur's hand and took her to Mayank's friends.He introduced her with everyone and said,"Ye hai hamaari bhabhi Mrs Nupur Mayank Sharma.""Uh-Nupur Bhushan!"Nupur corrected.Samrat asked,"Par bhabhi ab to aap Mayank ki wife hai."She replied,"Par mere liye vo mera pati nehi hai,so its just and will always be Nupur Bhushan."Mayank gave a disturbing look to her and asked Samrat,"Tu isey yaha kyu laaya?"Samrat replied,"Arey party tere shaadi ke khushi mein hai,biwi teri hai,to main inko sabse milaaunga nehi kya?"Shaalini looked at Nupur and then said,"Hume inse milne ka bilkul bhi dil nehi hai."Nupur suddenly asked,"Tumhaare haatho ka dard kaisa hai Shalini?"Shalini held her wrist and remembered how once Nupur twisted her wrist.Nupur understood that she remembered that day and asked,"Yaad aa gaya?"She then turned to Ravi and then asked,"Raviii kaise ho?"Ravi immediately put his hand on his cheek and said,"M-m-m-main thik hu."Nupur with a smile replied,"Very good."Mayank asked Nupur,"Kyu paka rahi ho sabko?"She replied,"Kachcha to khaana kha nehi sakti,paka kar hi to khaana parega na."Mayank gave a disgusting look to Nupur and then said to others,"Chalo yaha se.Iske saath rehne se sabke dimag kharaab ho jaayenge."Saying he took everyone from there except Samrat.He said,"Pata hai bhabhi,in sabne hi milkar Mayank ko aapse shaadi karne ka idea diya tha,taaki uske haatho se uske hisse ki property na chin jaaye.In logo ko sirf Mayank ke paiso se matlab hai."Nupur,said,in her mind,"To in teeno ke vajah se hi Mayank ke dimaag mein ye contract marriage waali baat aayi hai."She said to Samrat,"Samrat agar main tumse kuch kahu to kyat um mere liye vo kaam kar sakte ho?"He replied,"Always at your service bhabi."She said,"Mujhe in logo ki har harkat ki jaankaari dete rehna.Phir dekhna in teeno ko main aisa sabak seekhaaungi ke zindagi mein kabhi bhi kisiko bhi ye log aise ghatiya ideas nehi de paayenge."Samrat replied,"Okay bhabi.Aise shubh kaam mein main hamesha aapke saath hu.Don't worry,inke har harkat ki khabar aapko mil jaayegi."Both Samrat and Nupur shook hands with each other.

After the party,Maadhvi came to Nupur's room and asked Mayank to go out as she had something very personal.When Mayank left,Maadhvi said to Nupur,"Beth mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai."Nupur replied,"Ji mummyji,boliye."Maadhvi said,"Main jaanti hu ke tu Mayank ko pasand nehi karti hai aur tu usse shaadi bhi nehi karna chahti thi,kyuki uski apni koi pehchaan nehi hai,vo responsible nehi hai.I know,bohot mushkil hoti hai kisi bhi swaabhimaani larki ke liye usey badalna.Is ghar mein sabhi usse bohot pyar karte hai par Payal jo hai na,vo uspar kuch zyaada hi pyar lutaati hai,asal mein itne saalo tak uski goad sooni thi,to usne Mayank ko hi ma ka saara pyar diya hai.Mera Mayank badtameez hai,bigra hua hai,par beta vo dil ka bura nehi hai.Vo jisse pyar karta hai na vo uske liye apni jaan bhi de sakta hai.Hum sabne bohot koshish ki hai usey sudhaarne ki par...Isliye aaj ek ma bankar tumhaare paas ek request lekar aayi hu."She held Nupur's hand and said,"Jab tum pehli baar hamaare ghar aayi thi na tab Dhruv ne kaha tha ke tum hi ho jo Mayank ko sudhaar sakti hai,kyuki hum sab usse bare hai,par tum uski humumr ho.Main jaanti hu aaj jab vo aurte Mayank ke baare mein bol rahe the to tumhe bura laga tha,isilye jo aajtak hum nehi kar paaye,vo tum karo.Mere bete ko uski zimmedaari ka ehsaas tumhi kara sakti ho Nupur.Please."Nupur was confused because that was not the motto for which she came in this family,so she could not frame any word about what to say and asked,"Par mummyji,main...matlab?"Maadhvi said,"Tu hi kar sakti hai beta.Mujhe tujhpar,tere samajhdaari par pura bharosa hai.Hum par ye ehsaan kar de beta."Nupur,didn't want to involve in Mayank's personal life and also didn't want to hurt Maadhvi by rejecting to what she said.So,still,in order to make her happy,Nupur said,"Thik hai mummyji main puri koshish karungi."Maadhvi was very happy and said,"Main jaanti thi.Thik hai ab tu jaldi se soja,phir kal pagphere ke rasam ke liye ghar bhi to jaana hai na.Good night."Saying she left from there.

Mayank returned to his room confusingly looking outside.He asked,"Ma ne kya kaha tumse?"She asked,"Tumse matlab?"He pouted and said,"Bolne mein kya jaata hai?Meri ma hai main puch sakta hu,unhone tumse kya kaha."Nupur replied,"To vo bhi meri saas hai,ye do aurto ke beech ki baat hai.Main tumhe kyu bataau?"He made a face as if someone snatched a chocolate from a small kid's hand and then looked at Nupur in such a way as if he got to know the answer.He said,"Samajh gaya main,ma meri buraai karne hi aayi thi tumhaare paas.Bhabi ke saath to kar nehi paati hai na aur tum to ho hi meri dushman to bolo tumse achcha dost meri ma ko aur kaha milega mere khilaaf chugli karne ke liye."Nupur replied,"Actually you are right.Maine to chalo shehed nehi chakha,par aaj jaakar mujhe ye pata chala hai ke mummyji ne to tumhe akal ka churan hi nehi khilaaya."Mayank made a face like a joker and asked,"Akal ka churan?Vo kya hai?Aisa churan bhi hota hai kya?"Nupur replied,"Ha bilkul hota hai,tabhi to tum itne bare bewakuf ho.Iska sabse bara sabot ye hai ke maine is churan ke baare mein tumhe bola aur tumne meri baat par yakeen bhi kar liya.So silly of you!Isse mujhe ye baat bhi pata chali ke tumhe bewakuf banaana kitna asaan hai."Mayank became very angry and asked,"To tum mujhe bewakuf bana rahi thi?"She said,"You are born idiot Mayank.Ab chalo chalkar so jaao,mujhe bohot neend aa rahi hai aur kal hume mere ghar bhi jaana hai."Mayank changed in sleeping robe and lied down on the bed.Nupur too after bath lied down on the bed.He asked,"Jhooti shaadi mein bhi asli rasam nibhaane par rahe hai.Hai na?"Nupur replied,"Kyuki har kisike liye ye shaadi jhuti nehi hai.So jaao,kal mujhe jaldi uthna hai."Both turned against each other and slept.

Next morning,Nupur and Mayank both got ready to go to Nupur's house.Before leaving,Maadhvi said to Mayank,"Dekh meri bahu ko sahi salaamat lekar jaana aur sahi salaamat lekar aana samjha."Mayank yelled,"Ha bahu bohot pyari ho gayi,bete pe to kabhi pyar nehi aata."Maadhvi replied,"Kya karu,mujhe to beti di nehi hai bhagwaan ne,to isiliye bahuo par pyar jataati hu.Main to bhagwaan se dua karti hu ke mujhe na bhagwaan is baar ek poti de."Payal said,"Par ye achchi baat nehi hai ma.Aap is tarah se Mayank ke saath partiality nehi kar sakti."She went to Nupur and said,"Dekho Nupur,mere Mayank ko lekar ja rahi ho na,usey sahi salaamat lekar jaao aur sahi salaamat lekar aao."Mayank mockingly smiled at Nupur and Nupur said,"Haslo jab didi ke apne bachche honge na tab vo unse zyaada pyar karengi."Mayank made a crying face and said,"Bhabi!!!"Payal immediately hugged him and said,"Ole na na,main sabse pehle aur sabse zyaada pyar sirf aur sirf Mayank se karungi.Nupur tu mere bachche ko pareshaan mat karna varna..."She mockingly raised her hands at Nupur and she giggled.While they were outside the door,Dhruv secretly came to Nupur and said,"Dekh main tujhe full licence deta hu,jab bhi,jaise bhi mauka miley na Mayank ko sabak zarur sikhana.Chorna mat usko,iske chakkar mein,meri biwi mere taraf dekhti bhi nehi hai.Ye le best of luck."He gave her a chocolate.Nupur replied,"Thank you bhaiya aur aap bilkul fikar mat kijiye,aajkal Mayank ko sabak sikhaana meri favourate hobby ho gayi.I sooo love it."Dhruv appreciated her,"Thats the spirit!Now go and win!"He raised his thumb,Nupur smiled and then left for the car.

At home,Nupur received a grand welcome but a bit more of it was for Mayank.Gayatri and Suhaani were so overwhelmed on seeing Mayank,as if some filmstar had arrived in their home.Gayatri said,"Aaiye aaiye damaadji,aapka swaagat hai.Aate waqt aapko koi pareshaani to nehi hui hai na?Hamaari Nupur aapka khayaal to rakhti hai na?"Nupur smiled sarcastically and replied,"Tum to aise bol rahi ho jaise hum dusre sheher se aaye hai aur hamaari shaadi parso hi hui thi.Aajkal tumhe bohot short term memory loss ho rahi hai ma."Gayatri took Mayank inside without noticing Nupur.Nupur,too,straight away went to Ashok and he hugged her and asked,"Kaisi hai?"Nupur nodded her head.Gayatri came to Nupur and asked,"Aate hi apne papa se mil li aur mujhe bhul hi gayi?"Nupur gave a formal smile and replied,"Mil to liya hi tha na anadr aate waqt jaha tum apne damaad ki swaagat mein busy thi.Uswaqt tumhaare paas time nehi tha ab mere paas nehi hai.Excuse me!"She left from there leaving Gayatri sad and confused.Gayatri turned towards Ashok to say something,but he said,"Jaisa boogi Gayatri,vaisa hi to phal milega,aur chahe kuch bhi ho,kamsekam kuch bhi ho par apni zindagi barbaad karke tumhaari izzat rakhkhi hai,high society mein.So ,isliye agar vo tumhaari choti moti ya bari beizzati bhi kar de to I hope tum usko dil se nehi lagaaogi.Oh sorry,tumhe to in sab se fark bhi nehi parta kyuki tumhaara kaam to ho gaya."He smiled sarcastically and left from there.

In Nupur's room,Mayank asked,"Maine notice kiya you were very cold towards your mother.Kyu?"Nupur replied,"Thats none of your business Mayank.Stay out of it!"He raised his hand in a manner of surrender and said,"Ok."Suhaani came and informed Nupur to get ready for the rituals.Nupur went to the washroom and came out wearing a new saree.She sat on front of the mirror and wore the jewelleries.After that,Nupur tied her hair to make a bun,but Mayank who was noticing her from her back said,"Rehne do,tumhaare khule baal hi achche lagte hai."Nupur turned and looked at Mayank who was smiling at her.Suhaani again called Nupur from downstairs.Nupur got up from her seat and was about to go when Mayank pulled her from back by her waist.She controlled herself from dashing on Mayank by putting her hands between them.He looked intensely in her eyes and very slowly started moving his face towards her.Nupur could not do anything but just standing glued in his arms and can's to anything but just to stand helpless.She was taking heavy breath and Mayank slowly removed the hair fro the left side of her shoulder.His touch in her skin,making her go mad.He slowly reached her cheek and,in a husky way said,"Tumhaari ring khuli hui hai."Nupur was so startled that,in the next moment,she pushed him away from her and said,"Ye baat tum dur se bhi keh sakte the."He,with a seductive smile asked,"Kyu tumhe achcha nehi laga?"She grinned,"Shut up!"He taunted,"Jo bhi kaho,mera tumhaare kareeb aana,tumhe thori der ke liye behka to diya tha.Ab isme tumhaari koi galti nehi hai,Mayank Sharma ka charm hi aisa hai."Nupur grinned,"Disgusting!"Saying she almost stormed away from there.
