Next morning,the newspaper hawker started banging on the door very loudly and was constantly shouting.Nupur,who could not sleep last night woke up due to the shout.She pushed Mayank and started calling him up.On opening the eyes,he asked,"Kya hua Nupur?"She replied,"Dekho na Mayank,koi bahaar kaise darwaaza peet raha hai.Mu...mujhe bohot dar lag raha hai.Please jaakar dekho na,kahi,Muskan."Mayank got up from the bed and both of them walked towards the main door.While going there,they found that Dhruv and Anjali too woke up.Anjali asked,"Itni zor se darwaaza kaun pit raha hai?"Nupur held Dhruv's hand and asked,"Bhaiya kahi Muskaan ko kuch...?"Dhruv rubbed her head and said,"Nehi...kuch nehi hoga usko,tu dar mat."Both the ladies remained inside and both the brothers opened the door and found the hawker.On seeing him,Mayank became very angry and asked,"Tum???Itni zor se darwaaza kyu pit rahe ho?"The hawker replied,"Arey sahaab,aap ke main gate ke bahaar vo waale bhaiya pare huye hai jo aapke ghar mein rehte hai kuch dino.Bohot buri haalat hai unki,aisa lagta hai,unko bohot maara gaya hai."Mayank and Dhruv exchanged look with each other and then ran towards the main gate.On reaching there,they were hell shocked to find Samrat in such a bad condition.They kneeled down in front of him and called him,"Sam,Sam...wake up...Sam...Kuch to bol..."Mayank checked his breath and said,"Bhaiya saasein to chal rahi hai.Hume abhi isey isiwaqt hospital lekar jaana parega."Dhruv said,"Thik hai main andar inform karta hu aur phir gaari nikaalta hu.Pehle isko andar lekar chal."Both picked up Samrat and took him inside.

They put him inside the car and Dhruv informed everyone in home.Samrat's mother started crying and everyone got ready to go to the hospital except Anjali.When they reached the hospital,the doctor took Samrat inside the emergency and instructed the hospital staff to call the police.Nupur said to Mayank,"Mayank police???Agar unko pata chala ke police aayi hai to vo Muskaan..."Mayank replied,"Daro mat na aur vaise bhi ye police case hi hai.Hospital waale aise cases mein police ko bulaayenge hi,yehi rule hai.Humne bhi to police ko bol rakkha hai in case of any emergency."After half an hour the doctor came outside the emergency ward.Dhruv asked,"Doctor hamaara bhai kaisa hai?"The doctor replied,"Ji lagta hai unko thora bohot maara gaya hai,Jageh jageh par chot ke nishaan hai aur filhaal abhi inko chloform sunghaakar behosh kiya gaya tha.To maine unhe pain killer aur neend ka injection de diya hai.Shaam tak inko hosh aa jaayega."At that moment,police also arrived and Mayank and Dhruv shook hands with each other.The SP asked,"Ye vohi hai na jo aapki beti ke saath kidnap hua tha Mr Sharma?"Mayank replied,"Ha.Par abhi vo hosh mein nehi hai."The SP replied,"Thik hai,to phir main sham ko aakar inka statement le lunga."Mayank nodded his head and the police left after formal enquiry with the hospital staffs.

In the kidnapper's den,Muskaan woke up from sleep and started looking here and there.She called,"Mamma!Mamma!Mu mamma!"The lady came inside on hearing her voice and said,"Uth gayi!Bas ab shuru kar apna rona dhona chillana!"Muskaan asked,"Mamma???"The lady replied,"Teri ma nehi hai yaha par.Chal uth ja,Main tere liye dudh lekar aati hu."Muskaan said,"Dudu,na na!Toc dudu!Mamma Mu toc dudu,Bai mamma Mu toc dudu!Toc dudu aththi!"The lady made a face as if she had heard some kind of alien language and said,"Bhagwaan jaane kya bol rahi hai.Teri ye boli teri ma samajhti hogi,main nehi."Just then another of their gang member,came with a bag and said,"Ye le bachcho ka samaan hai.Jabtak ye yaha rahegi tabtak ye sab hamaare kaam aayega."The lady went to another room to make milk for Muskaan.After sometime,she returned to Muskaan with the feeding bottle.She gave it to her and on seeing the colour,Muskaan said,"Na na ganna dudu!Mu toc dudu!"The lady asked,"Ab kya hua meri ma?"The man who brought all these replied,"Lagta hai isko dudh peena achcha nehi lagta.Vaise kisiko bhi achcha nehi lagta hai."The lady asked,"To ab kya karu?Kuch nehi khaayegi to bimaar par jaayegi aur agar isko kuch hua to hume lene ke dene par jaayenge.Bol?"The man replied,"Ek kaam kar.Ek dudh ka powder lekar aaya tha,jaisa ke doctor ne kaha.Isko mila kar dekh peeti hai ke nehi."The lady mixed the milk powder with the milk and again gave it to Muskaan.She again nodded her head and said,"Na na Mu toc dudu!"The lady now became very angry and forcefully put the nib inside Muskaan's mouth.She drank some milk and realized that the taste was not so bad so she quietly finished her milk and then since the lady scolded her,Muskaan scolded her back and said,"Ganni aun aaap!Ganni aun bai ganni!"She gave an angry look to the woman.The woman said,"Mujhe aakhe dikhaati hai!Aakhe nikaalke na gutter mein phek dungi."Now Mayank always used to make a funny face showing his tongue behind Nupur's back,whenever she used to scold him.Muskaan knew it and so she too did the same to that lady on her face.The lady was so angry that she was about to slap Muskaan when her companion stopped her and said,"Boss ne kaha hai na haath mat lagaana isko."At that moment,the boss arrived and said,"Aaj main iske gharwaalo ko paiso ka intezaam karne ko bolne waala hu.Tayyar rehna."Both the lady and the other man nodded their head.

After an hour,the lady brought a tub of warm water for Muskaan to bath.On seeing the water Muskaan asked,"Gam paayi??Mu papa aadoo??"The lady murmered,"Pata nehi kya kya bolti rehti hai.Iski boli samajhne ke liye lagta hai us larke ko rakh diya hota to achcha hota,kamsekam itna pareshaan to nehi karti."The lady made her sit on the tub.For a second,the boss called her and she went out leaving her gun behind.Muskaan looked at the gun.She thought it to be some kind of plaything just like her doll.She picked that up and started playing with it.Two minutes later,the lady returned and found Muskaan was playing with that gun.The lady stood like a statue and her whole face turned pale as if someone had squeezed out all the blood from her body.Her eyes appeared to come out of its hole.The next moment,she gathered her senses and screamed,"Aeee!!!Kya kar rahi hai tu???Chor usko,chooor!!!"Muskaan immediately dropped it into the soapy water of her tub and was very scared due to the scream.The lady came running to her and picked up the gun fully drenched in soapy water.On seeing that condition of the gun,she glared at Muskaan,who was giving a puppy and scared look to her.She understood that she had done something wrong and so she immediately held her ear and folded her lips and said,"Mu aaap na na!Mu aththi!"The lady squeezed her cheeks and said,"Ek jhaapar lagaaungi na saali..."Muskaan made a sound and then finally started crying loudly.The lady made her bath and then after that put on her clothes and made her sit on her bed still cryng and then said,"Ro aur ro ro kar mar ja.Huh!"Saying she left from there leaving Muskaan alone crying for Nupur.

In the evening,Samrat gained consciousness and he was taken back to home.While he was lying down,his mother brought a glass of turmeric milk for him.Everyone came to him to check whether he is alright or not.Shanti rubbed his head and said,"Bohot dard ho raha hai na beta?Achcha ye to bol ke hua kya tha?"Nupur asked,"Meri Muskaan..."Samrat replied,"Vo bilkul thik hai bhabhi.Jabtak unko paise nehi mil jaate,vo Muskaan ko kuch nehi karenge.Vo...dadi...usdin Muskaan main bhai aur bhabhi ke liye gifts kharidne gaya tha.To Muskaan ne chocolates dekha to zidd karne lagi.Main usko chocolate aur doll kharidke,uske haath mein dekar waapas aa hi raha tha ke kisine,peeche se mere naak mein rumaal pakar liya,uske baad,mere saath kya hua mujhe kuch yaad nehi hai.Phir jab meri aakh khuli,to maine hum dono ko unke thikane par paaya.Muskaan bhi so rahi thi.Bichaari jab uthi tabse sirf mamma','mamma' kiye ja rahi thi aur ro rahi thi.Kuch khaati bhi nehi thi.Vo to jab maine khilaaya tab jaakar khaaya.Unhone mujhe bohot maara tha.Par...par main yaha kaise aaya?"Dhruv said,"Vo log tujhe yaha subhe chorkar gaye hai."Samrat looked tensed and said,"Iska matlab Muskaan to waha akeli hogi na.Oh God!"Nupur said to Mayank,"Mayank please kuch karo na.Dekho tumne suna na ke vo log kitne khatarnaak hai.Tum unhe paise de do na.Itna paisa to hai na hamaare paas."Mayank replied,"Paise dene se kya hoga Nupur?Ye koi zaruri nehi hai ke paise milne ke baad vo Muskaan ko chor denge."Samrat apologized,"Iam sorry bhabi.Agar kal main usko na le jaata apne saath to shaayad vo aaj hamaare saath hoti.But you don't worry bhabhi.Mere vajah se Muskaan aaj us musibat mein hai na,to main hi usey waha se nikaalunga."Anjali said,"Par abhi tu araam kar."Samrat said,"Abhi main bohot better feel kar raha hu.Abhi agar araam karne mein beth gaya to kaise chalega?I have to trace her.Ek kaam kijiye,mera laptop bag lekar aaiye."His father gave him his laptop bag.He got up from his seat and came to the hall.Everyone objected but Samrat didn't listen to anyone and he continued his job.He connected some wires with the telephone and to his laptop and said,"Ab vo kidnapper to kya agar uske baap ne bhi phone kiya to uski saari kundali nikal aayegi."Nupur asked,"Vo kaise?Kidnappers ne to kal raat ko hi ek baar phone kiya tha aur jab police na us number ko trace kiya to vo number to unhe mila hi nehi.Vo number exist hi nehi karta aur uske baad to kidnapper ne phone kiya bhi nehi hai.Police kuch nehi kar pa rahi hai aur tum..."He gave a wicked smile and said,"Mayank bhai aapne bhabhi ko bola nehi that Iam a world class hacker."Mayank looked at Nupur and nodded his head.At that moment,the phone rang.Samrat replied,"Jo bhi karna pare,par kamse kam 5 minute tak baat karna phir mujhe is software ke zariye ye pata chal jaayega ke vo kaha hai."Mayank nodded his head and picked up the call.The convo :-

M :- "Hello."

K :- "Kyu paiso ka intezaam ho gaya hai na?"

M :- "Haho gaya hai,bolo kaha laana hai."

K :- "Par..."

Samrat looked at the time and then signalled Mayank to stretch for some time.

M :- "Hello...hello...thora ucha bolo kuch sunaai nehi de raha hai.Hello..."

K :- "Hello...hello..."

Samrat gave him thumbs up.

M :- "Ha bolo."

K :- "Ha jo main keh raha tha.Kal sham ko laana hai tumhe paise,jagah aur waqt main tumhe sms kar dunga."

M :- "Thik hai.Meri beti kaisi hai?"

K :- "Thik hai."

They cut the call.

Samrat said to Nupur,"Bhabhi I promise you ke kal raat tak Muskaan aapke paas hogi,agar sab kuch thik raha to."Nupur held his hands tightly and said,"Agar aisa hua to main zindagi bhar tumhaara shukrguzaar rahungi Samrat."Samrat put his hand on her hand and said,"You don't have to be."He smiled.
