CHAPTER - 11

CHAPTER - 12

Early in the morning,while Nupur was going to bath,she opened her wardrobe to take out her dress.At that moment,she saw a sticker on the inside wall of the wardrobe where it was written -

"Dunia ki sabse khubsurat larki ko is naachis ka salaam aur us khubsurat larki ke liye is naachis ke taraf se ek chota sa taufa."

Nupur was confused but a bit amused too.She started searching for the present inside the wardrobe.Suddenly,her eyes fall on a gift packet.She opened the packet and was surprised to find a jewellery box and a very beautiful and designer saree inside it.She opened the box and found a very beautiful diamond jewellery.Nupur was stunned as well as very happy to see it.Suddenly,a hand wrapped her waist with his hand and whispered into her eyes,"Happy marriage anniversary."A smile formed on her lips and she looked upto him.Nupur turned and wrapped his neck and asked,"Ye sab kab laaye?"Mayank replied,"Goa se."Nupur was a bit taken back.She asked,"Kya??Par tumne to kaha tha ke tum mere liye Goa se kuch nehi laaye??"Mayank replied,"Aur tumne yakeen kar liya?Main aajtak kabhi bahaar gaya aur sabke liye kuch na kuch laaya aur tumhaare liye nehi laaya,kya aisa kabhi hua hai?"Nupur nodded her head.Mayank replied,"Maine sabse pehle gift tumhaare liye hi kharida tha kyuki you are special for me.Maine jaanbujh kar nehi diya taaki aaj ke din ye gift main tumhe de saku."Nupur kissed on his cheek and said,"Iam sorry aur happy anniversary to you too."Mayank said,"Maine tumhe gift diya to ab mera gift kaha hai?"Nupur replied,"Jab waqt hoga tab tumhe mil jaayega."Mayank was about to kiss her when Muskaan came in the room making a crying face with her doll's broken hand.Muskaan ran to Nupur,making a sad face and said,"Mamma mamma Mu dolu!Mei dolu oooh!"Nupur took the doll from Muskaan's hand and said,"Awww!Muskaan ke doll ka haath toot gaya??Dolu ko dard ho raha hai??"Muskaan made a sad face and nodded her head.Nupur said,"Chalo abhi Muskaan ke dolu ka haath thik kar dete hai."Nupur fixed the doll's hand and said,"Ye dekho dolu ka haath thik ho gaya.Ab khush hai na Muskaan?"Muskaan showed her 4 teeths and clapped and then took her doll from Nupur.Mayank picked Muskaan up on her lap and asked,"Muskaan beta aaj pata hai kya hai??"Muskaan gave a blank look to Mayank and he said,"Aaj mamma aur papa dono ka birthday hai."Muskaan widened her eyes and asked,"Badday??Mu mamma papa badday??Mamma papa bae bae toc dolu??"Nupur laughed out and said,"Chocolates aur dolls to sirf Muskaan ke liye hai mamma papa ke liye nehi."Nupur then showed the gift of Mayank to Muskaan and said,"Ye dekho aapke papa ne mujhe gift mein kya diya hai.Achchi hai na??"Muskan smiled and said,"Mu papa bae aththe."She jumped down of Mayank's lap and ran to the hall.

On reaching the hall,she found Shanti chanting God's name through the beads.She ran to her and said,"Baidadi,Mu mamma papa badday!"Shanti replied,"Birthday nehi marriage anniversary.Aaj ke din 4 saal pehle aapke mamma aur papa ki shaadi hui thi."Muskaan asked,"Baidadi Mu badday pu!Mamma papa badday pu na??"Shanti replied,"Na beta aaj koi puja nehi hogi."Muskaan confusingly looked at the floor and with a low voice asked,"Mu laathu na?"Shanti laughed out loud and said,"Oho to aapko puja isliye chahiye thi ke aapko laddoo khaane ko mil sake.Koi baat nehi baridadi aapke liye kal laddoo banwa degi."Muskaan became very happy.She went to Samrat,who was practicing on his guitar.Muskaan ran to him and called him,"Ta!Ta!Mu mamma papa badday!Mu ta!"Samrat didn't understand anything and she confusingly asked,"Kya hai beta?Chachu ko kuch bhi samajh mein nehi aa raha hai."Muskaan started pulling Samrat's hand to come with her.Samrat went with her to her separate bedroom and then Muskaan showed him a glass wardrobe.Samrat asked,"Ab kya karna hai Muskaan?"Muskaan knocked on the glass door of the wardrobe and imitated to open the wardrobe.Samrat opened it and then Muskaan pointed at a box and he gave it to her.Muskaan ran with the box to Nupur's bedroom.Nupur,on seeing her asked,"Baby,kuch chahiye aapko?"Muskaan gave the box to Nupur.She asked,"Ye kya hai?"She opened the box and found a lot of chocolates.She asked,"Par beta ye to papa aapke liye the na?"Muskaan replied,"Mu badday mamma papa aththe phock,bae bae dolu,bae bae toc!Mu mamma papa badday!Mu mamma papa toc!"Nupur and Mayank exchanged looks with each other.Mayank replied,"Muskaan ne hume ye gift diya hai."Nupur pulled Muskaan in her arms and kissed her on her cheeks and said,"Aww Muskaan ne hume gift diya.Thank you so much.Pata hai mamma papa ke life ka sabse best gift kya hai?Vo aap ho Muskaan.Aap hamaare life ka sabse khubsurat taufa ho aur aapne jo gift diya hai na hume vo sabse special gift hai hamaare liye.Aap mamma aur papa ki jaan ho.Aap unki puri dunia ho.We love you beta."Nupur haugged her tightly in her arms.

In the afternoon,Samrat was about to go somewhere outside and Muskaan started pleading to go out with him.Nupur didn't allow and asked her to stay inside as there will be party tonight at home and Nupur and all others will be very busy and so if Muskaan goes out,then all her attention will be on her.But Muskaan was so adamant to go out with Samrat that she started crying.At last,on everyones persuation Nupur allowed MUskaan to go with Samrat.Nupur said,"Aap bohot ziddi ho gayi ho Muskaan aur ye bilkul achchi baat nehi hai.Mamma aapse bohot naraaz hai."Samrat said to Muskaan,"Arey re Muskaan,mamma to aapse naraaz ho gayi.Ab?"Muskaan looked at Samrat confusingly.He replied,"Mamma agar gussa ho gayi na to vo Muskaan se gussa ho gayi to vo unse baat nehi karegi,aapko daatengi aur chorkar chali jaayengi."Muskaan became terrified and she immediately nodded her head and said,"Na na Mu ganni na na!Mamma Mu aaap na na!Mu aththi,mamma aththi!"Saying she hugged Nupur by her waist.Nupur picked her up in her arms and then kissed on her one cheek and said,"Mamma ki nanhi pari."She again kissed on her another cheek and said,"Mamma bhi achchi aur mamma ki Muskaan bhi achchi.Papa ke tarah mamma ko bohot achche se manaana aa gaya hai na.Achcha chalo jaao aur ha chachu ko bilkul pareshaan mat karna,good girl bankar raho aur bilkul bhi chocolate ke liye zidd mat karna."Samrat took her in his arms and said,"Chalo mamma ko bye bolo."Muskaan waved her hand towards Nupur and said,"Mamma ta ta!"Nupur looked at her with a jerk and her expressions changed suddenly.Nupur kept on watching Muskaan as she goes ut with Samrat.Suddenly Anjali came and put her hands on her shoulders and shook her to ask,"Kya hua?"Nupur,appeared as if woke up from her sleep.She looked at her and replied,"Pata nehi didi...par...par aaj pata nehi kyu...jab Muskaan abhi ja rahi thi na to mujhe bohot ajeeb feel hua.Bohot bechaini ho rahi hai mujhe.Mujhe usko abhi jaane nehi dena chahiye tha."Anjali said,"Koi nehi baba,aaj Muskaan Samrat ke saath pehli baar thore hi ja rahi hai.Don't worry."Nupur grabbed her hand and said,"Nehi didi,main aapko bata nehi paaungi ke mujhe kaisa feel ho raha hai."Anjali said,"Relax Nupur!Abhi chal.Don't worry at all.Aa jaayenge dono."Nupur made up her mind and went away with Anjali.

It grew from afternoon to evening but Muskaan and Samrat didn't return.Nupur slowly became restless and constantly tried to contact Samrat but he was out of reach.Samrat's mother,Meera said,"Pata nehi aaj is larke ko kya ho gaya,kaha chala gaya hai ye.Aajtak kabhi usne aisa nehi kiya aur agar kabhi late hota bhi tha to vo mujhe phone kar deta tha."Mayank and Dhruv returned from office.On seeing them,Nupur ran towards Mayank and said,"Dekho na Mayank,Samrat,vo dupeher se gaya hua hai aur vo bhi Muskaan ko lekar,abhitak nehi lauta hai."Mayank replied,"Relax Nupur.Sammy mein thora bachpana hai par vo bohot responsible bhi hai.Muskaan ne zarur usko,kuch na kuch kharidne mein lagwa diya hai."Nupur was restless from the beginning,but right at that moment,Nupur's patience crossed its limits.She yelled,"Nehi nehi nehi.Mujhe patience nehi chahiye,mujhe meri beti chahiye.I just want my daughter back.Jabse vo dono gaye hai mujhe bohot ajeeb feel ho raha hai par meri baat koi sunta hi nehi hai.Tum abhi usko dhundh kar mere paas waapas laao.Abhi jaao."Mayank tried to cool her down but she was in no mood to listen anything.She just kept on saying and crying,"Meri bachchi,meri bachchi ko mere paas laao.Mujhe bohot ghabraahat ho rahi hai.Bohot bure bure khayaal aa rahe hai mere dil mein.Meri bachchi zarur kisi musibat mein hai.Please Mayank."She hugged Mayank and cried bitterly.Now the whole family was surrounded with the cloud of tension.Sameer and Mayank continuously tried calling Samrat but failed and so the party was cancelled.Just then the landline rang.Mayank picked up the call.The convo :-

CALLER :- "Mamma!"

Mayank was surprised to hear the call and moreover hearing Muskaan's voice.

MAYANK :- (screamed) "Muskaan???"

All were startled to hear Muskaan's name.Dhruv asked him to put the call in loudspeaker.

C :- "Mamma papa!"

Nupur dashed on the floor in front of the phone.

N :- "Muskaan!!!Mera bachcha!Ha...ha...mamma.Mamma baat kar rahi hai.Bolo kaha ho aap aur...aur chachu kaha hai?"

C :- "Mamma mamma Mu dal!Ta ooohhh!Ganne un(gande uncle)!"

Suddenly everyone heard another voice.

C :- "Bas baby bohot ho gaya aapke mamma papa se baat abhi uncle baat karenge.Chalo."

Before leaving,they heard a scream of Muskaan and after that the unknown voice

M :- "Kaun ho tum?"

C :- "Wait!Dheere.Vaise tumse kahi zyaada jaldi mujhe hai."

N :- "Ho kaun tum aur meri..meri beti tumhaare paas aur...aur Samrat kaha hai?"

C :- "Mrs Mayank Sharma,don't worry aapki bachchi aur vo larka mere kabze mein hai aur sahi salaamat hai par kabtak vo dono sahi salaamat rahenge ye aap sab par depend karta hai."

M :- "Kya matlab?"

C :- "Matlab ye ke tumhe tumhaari bachchi sahi salaamat mil jaayegi par uske badle mein tumhe ek choti si keemat chukaani paregi."

M :- "Kya chahiye tumhe?"

C :- "50 laakh!!50 laakh rupiye dene parenge.Maine suna hai,bohot minnato se mili bachchi hai ye aur ghar mein aur purey vansh ye ek lauti larki hai to uske liye itna to kar hi sakte ho.Hai na?Kab kaha aur paise kaise pohchaana hai vo main tumhe baad mein bata dunga aur mujhe zarur tumhe ye nehi bolna parega ke police ko in sab se dur rakhna.Vaise tumhaare liye main us larke ko kal waapas ghar bhej dunga."

Before Mayank could say anything,the caller cut the call.

Nupur,in a hypnotized condition said,"Meri Muskaan!!!Meri Muskaan..."She couldn't continue more and fainted in Anjali's arms.

CHAPTER - 13
