CHAPTER - 6

On one Sunday,Shlok and Abhay were busy with their play station.Suddenly Shlok said,"Abhay ye sab chor na chal,chalkar Muskaan ke saath khelte hai.Bohot din ho gaye Mukaan ke saath khele huye."Abhay said,"Ha chal,aaj hum apni behen ke saath khelenge."Both of them went out of the room and looked for Muskaan.They went to Nupur-Mayank's bedroom and found Muskaan was playing with her doll and Mayank was making Muskaan's pony tail.Abhay said to Mayank,"Chachu hume Muskaan ko bahaar garden mein le jaana hai khelne ke liye.Le jaaye?"Mayank replied,"Bhai aap dono ki behen hai,jo chahe karo."He asked Muskaan,"Beta bhaiya ke saath khelne jaana hai garden mein?"Muskaan replied,"Gathen(graden) Mu baiya?"Mayank nodded his head.Muskaan got up on the bed and held Abhay's finger and said,"Mu gathen!"Abhay put her down of the bed and she went out with both her brothers.

Before going outside,Abhay and Shlok took Muskaan to the kitchen and Abhay asked Nupur,"Choti mamma hum Muskaan ko khelne ke liye bahaar garden mein lekar jaaye?"Nupur replied,"Isme puchne waali kaunsi baat hai beta jaao."Anjali said,"Par dhyaan rakhna usko chot na lagne paaye,varna tum dono ko bohot maar paregi."Shlok replied,"Hum dhyaan rakkhenge mamma."While going out Shaanti found them and asked,"To kidhar chali sawaari sabki?"Shlok replied,"Hum Muskaan ko lekar garden mein khelne ja rahe hai baridaadi."Shaanti held Muskaan's chin and asked,"Meri lakshmi bhaiya ke saath khelne ja rahi hai?"Muskaan replied,"Mu gathen!"Shaanti said,"Ha ha jaao aur tum dono apni behen ka dhyaan rakhna."Both Abhay and Shlok nodded their head and took Muskaan out.

In the garden,Abhay said to Muskaan,"Muskaan hum na abhi pakra pakri khelenge.Tum mujhe aur Shlok ko pakarna.Thik hai?"Muskaan asked,"Mu pak???"Shlok and Abhay both went apart from Muskaan and Shlok said,"Muskaan mujhe pakro."Muskaan giggled and clapped and then started running after them.She was running here and there but could not touch them,but she was enjoying a lot.Suddenly,while running,she slipped on the ground.Muskaan immediately folded her lips and called,"Baiya Mu oohhh!"Abhay and Shlok immediately picked her up.Shlok made her sit on his lap and asked Abhay to bring the first-aid box.Shlok said,"Nehi Muskaan tum brave girl ho na aur daadi hamesha kehte hai brave girl nehi rote."Abhay came with the first-aid box and checked if Muskaan had any kind of wounds.Muskaan said to Abhay,"Baiya gathen aaap!"Shlok slapped on the ground and scolded angrily,"Ha,garden tum gande ho!Tumne hamaari Muskaan ko geera diya.Bad garden.Muskaan dekho maine garden ko aaap bola,ab thik hai."Muskaan said,"Gathen ganna!"Abhay said,"Koi chot nehi lagi hai,Muskaan bilkul thik hai."Shlok then made Muskaan stand on her feet and took her inside.Anjali,at that moment,came out of the kitchen and found Muskaan making a sad face.She went to her and asked,"Ale meli guriya ka muh kyu utra hua hai?Bari mamma ko bolo?"Shlok replied,"Mamma vo khelte khelte gir gayi par koi chot vot nehi lagi hai."Anjali became very angry on hearing this.She said,"Kaha tha na Muskaan ka khayaal rakkho.Ek kaam nehi hota tum dono se sivaay video game khelne ke."Nupur came out of the kitchen on hearing Anjali's voice.She asked,"Kya hua didi?Aap unhe daatt kyu rahi ho?"Anjali replied,"Muskaan khelte khelte gir gayi aur ye dono uska dhyaan bhi nehi rakh paaye."Nupur said,"Oho didi,bachche hai,khel khel mein chot lag jaati hai."Nupur came to Muskaan and checked for any wounds and said,"Koi chot nehi lagi hai Muskaan ko,khamakha hi aap bachcho ko daat rahi hai."Anjali said,"Arey chot bhale hi na lage par itni choti bachchi hai,zara si cheez se infection ho jaayega...""Chot????Infection???Kya hua mere ghar ki lakshmi ko?Chot lagi hai kya?Abhi doctor bulaao."Shaanti heard them and yelled in fear.Nupur said,"Kuch nehi hua hai daadi,vo ye khelte khelte gir gayi,par usko koi chot nehi lagi hai,aapki Muskaan thik hai."Shaanti herself again checked Muskaan and said,"Haaye meri lakshmi,achcha hua ke ye thik hai.Ek kaam kar Nupur,jaakar,garam paani aur antiseptic liquid daalkar isko nehla de."Nupur nodded her head and said to Anjali,"Ab aap mere bachcho ko daatna mat didi please."She said to both Abhay and Shlok,"Bachcho aap dono apne kamre mein jaao."Nupur said,"Didi aap bhi na kabhi kabhi bohot zyaada kar deti ho.Uff!"Anjali made a face and Nupur left.

On seeing Muskaan's sad face,Mayank asked,"Kya hua choti si Muskaan ka chota sa muh utra hua kyu hai?"Muskaan sat on Mayank's lap and said,"Papa,Mu baiya gathen!Mu pak!Mu oohh!Baiya gathen aaap!"Mayank looked at Nupur and she replied,"Arey vo khelte khelte gir gayi.Maine dekha hai koi chot nehi lagi hai usko."Mayank made a o' face and said,"Ooo Muskaan gir gayi aur phir bhaiya ne garden ko daat diya.Bohot achcha kiya."Muskaan said,"Aththe baiya!"Nupur said,"Chalo Muskaan nahaalo.Main gyser on karke aapko tel maalish kara deti hu."After Nupur returned from Muskaan's room,she took the baby-oil bottle and said to Muskaan,"Aaj mamma ki pari,apne baby tub mein nahaayegi."Nupur opened Muskaan's dress and and made her lie down on the oil-cloth.Nupur applied oil on her body and Mayank gave a massage.After that,both took her to her bedroom's washroom and made Muskaan sit on her tub with a mild hot water and antiseptic.Mayank said,"Aaj papa apni guriya ke liye ek gift laaye hai."Nupur said,"Muskaan ka naya gift aaya hai."Nupur clapped her hands and Muskaan without getting anything joined her in clapping.Mayank took out a box from the wardrobe and opened it.He one by one took out a few water toys and put them on the water tub.Muskaan was very surprised to see those things floating on the water.She asked,"Mamma mmm??"Nupur replied,"Ye papa aapke liye naye tarah ke dolls laaye hai.Aap jab nahaaogi tab aap iske saath khelna."Mayank and Nupur both sat on their kness beside Muskaan's tub and started bathing her.Mayank said,"Aapko pata hai,in dolls se magic bhi hota hai."He moved his fingers in front of Muskaan's eyes and made wide eyes and said,"Jaaadooo!"Muskaan's eyes were also wide and she looked at her mother and with a low voice said,"Mamma!"Mayank dipped the toy under the water and then looked at Muskaan and said,"Now one...two...three and..."Mayank left the toy and it again bumped up over the water and Mayank said,"Hooosshh!"Muskaan was so startled that she screamed at first but after a few seconds,she was so amused that she started giggling.She raised her brows to Mayank and said,"Aadoo!"He asked,"Dubaara dikhaau?"Muskaan nodded her head.Mayank again repeated the same act and Muskaan clapped in happiness.Mayank played with her and Nupur made her bath.After completing the bath,when Nupur was putting her out of the tub,Muskaan was not ready to come out and kept on saying,"Aadoo!Aadoo!"Nupur said,"Baaki jaadoo kal,abhi aap jaldi paani se bahaar aao varna aapko thand lag jaayegi."Mayank replied,"Ha beta,kal phir se mamma aapko jaadoo dikhaayegi."Nupur said to Mayank,"Abhi tum jaao,kal tumhe Goa jaana hai na,tum jaakar apni packing karo."Mayank said,"Kar lunga baba don't worry."Nupur made Muskaan stand on the bed and started rubbing off the water on her body.Muskaan said,"Papa aadoo!Mu bai mamma,dadda,baiya,dadu,dadi,bai dadi!"Nupur said,"Ha ha pehle kapre pehenlo phir jaakar unhe bol dena."But Muskaan was too excited for Nupur to stop.She jumped down of the bed and ran out of the room all naked.Nupur started shouting and running behind her.Muskaan went straight to the hall,where some official staffs came for important discussion with Dhruv and Arvind.Muskaan excitedly stood in front of them and said,"Dadda dadu papa aadoo!"Nupur came quickly and wrapped her with the towel and said,"Muskaan aap bohot shaitaan ho gayi ho.Chee shame shame!Aise koi sabke saamne aata hai kya?Gandi Muskaan!"Muskaan immediately folded her lips.Seeing this Dhruv said,"Nehi nehi!Chup reh tu Nupur!Muskaan bohot achchi hai."Muskaan immediately showed her 4 teeth and said,"Dadda aththi Mu!"Nupur said,"Ha ha pata hai kitni achchi hai,tabhi to aise hi bina kapro ke sabke saamne aa gayi.Chalo pehle kapre badal lo."Nupur took her inside and made her wear her dress.After that she again,came in the hall.Dhruv called her and said,"Muskaan beta idhar aana."Muskaan went to him and Dhruv made her sit on his lap and took the business papers from the table.He made Muskaan touch those papers and then said to the staffs,"Ab aap ye deal final karne ke liye meeting bulaaiye.Ab is deal ko koi nehi rok sakta."They all left.Dhruv gave Muskaan her favourate chocolate and she gave a bright smile and said,"Mu aththi toc!"Dhruv opened the wrapper of the chocolate and Muskaan started eating her chocolate.

In the evening,Muskaan was continuously crying beside Mayank's ears and was requesting him to take her out and buy her dolls and chocolates but Mayank was very busy regarding his trip.Nupur came to their room and said,"Muskaan hamesha doll aur chocolates aur kuch nehi.Ye achchi baat nehi hai beta.Aapke paas kitne saare dolls hai aur dadda,papa aur bhaiya mein se koi roz aapke liye chocolates late hai na.Achche bachche itne chocolates nehi khaate varna daat kharaab ho jaayenge."Muskaan made a sound and put her cheek on her hand's palm and looked at Nupur.She understood that she was feeling boared.Nupur said,"Oh to Muskaan boar ho rahi hai.Thik hai to mamma aur Muskaan milkar khelenge."Nupur pretended to think and said,"Kaunsa game khele?Kaunsa game khele?Ha!Hum dono luka chupi khelenge.Mamma apni aakhe bandh karke rakkhengi aur Muskaan kahi par jaakar chup jaayegi."Mayank said,"Papa bhi khelenge na apni pari ke saath.Chalo papa chalkar Muskaan ko kahi chupa dete hai aur phir mamma dhundegi."Muskaan clapped her hands and Mayank picked her up and said,"Chalo mamma apni aakhe bandh karo."Nupur covered her eyes and Mayank went out of the room with Muskaan.

Mayank took Muskaan to store room and hid her in a corner and said,"Ab aap yaha chupchap bethi rehna aur phir mamma aakar aapko dhundh legi."Saying Mayank left and Muskaan stood their quietly.Nupur then started searching Muskaan and said,"Meri nanhi pari,meri laado kaha hai?Dekho mamma aapko dhundh rahi hai."While Nupur was searching Muskaan,suddenly there was a power cut.Nupur was about to call Mayank when she heard Muskaan cried out loudly,"Mamma!"Muskaan slowly folded her lips and gradually opening her mouth she started crying as loudly as she could out of fear and started walking here and there in the dark.Suddenly her leg hit something and she fall down on her stomach and cried more loudly.By that time,the light came and Nupur came running to the store room and quickly picked Muskaan up.She patted her and said,"Na mera bachcha rote nehi hai,dekho mamma aa gayi hai.Main jaanti hu meri guriya dar gayi thin a.Ole baba!Na.Dikhao mamma ko kahi chot lagi hai kya?Dikhao."She checked Muskaan from head to toe and then took her to her room.By that time,on hearing her cry everyone came to Nupur's room and found Muskaan was crying non-stop inspite of Nupur's soothing and Mayank was standing with a guilt-stricken face.Maadhvi asked,"Kya hua?Kya hua?Hamaari laadli kyu ro rahi hai bolo?Dadi ko bataao?Kya hua Nupur?"Nupur angrily looked at Mayank and said,"Aur kya hoga ma?Apne bete se hi puchiye.Hum luka-chupi khel rahe the aur usne Muskaan ko store room mein chupa diya aur jab bijli gayi to vo dar ke maare tabhi se roye ja rahi hai aur chup hi nehi ho rahi hai."Dhruv said to Mayank,"Tu bhi na Mayank kabhi kabhi aise harkate karta hai.Store room bhi koi jagah hai bachchi ko chupaane ka?God!Ridiculous!"Shaanti replied,"Abhi dekh meri bachchi kitna ro rahi hai."Everyone scolded Mayank and he heard it quietly and then he went to Muskaan and said,"Muskaan dekha beta aapne,aapke papa ko sab kaise daat rahe hai."Muskaan pushed away Mayank and said to Nupur,"Mamma papa aaap!"Everyone were a bit amused as well as surprised on seeing that the girl who always used to be her father's bodyguard,now herself scolded him.Nupur said,"Ha ha beta papa ekdam zor se aaap!Jaao yaha se Mayank in fact mujhe abhi tumpar bohot gussa aa raha hai."Muskaan put her head on Nupur's bosoms and hugged and while crying angrily scolded Mayank,"Papa aaap!Papa ganne!"Everyone were giggling on seeing Mayank's face.Mayank said,"Ha ha aaj to main hi sabse bara villain hu."Everyone tried to cool her down by bribing her with many things,but still Muskaan didn't stop crying.Nupur said,"Koi baat nehi,aap sab jaiye,main usko chup kara dungi."Saying Nupur took Muskaan outside of their room to sooth her.
