Samrat was actually holding her precious diary in his hands-the diary that had all hidden secrets, truths, feelings and fears of Gunjan.It would not be wrong to say that the diary holds the actual Gunjan with all the realities of her life.She used to share every instance with her diary. No doubt Samrat was her best friend but unfortunately she could not share everything with him at least not her feelings that she had for him for the fear that it might break their friendship forever as well and she could not afford to loose to her only best friend in town.

She had other friends like Dia,Uday,Mayank,Nupur and Benji but they never supported her the way Samrat did so Samrat always had a different place in her heart. He was special to her because he always makes her feel special and she loves that feeling of being with him but today things were different her face turned pale seeing Samrat with the dairy-her priced possession. She was hell confused as how to deal with the situation. She was just in the thinking process as how to handle the current scenario when she was bombarded with Samrat's questions.

S: What's all this Chashmish? This dairy is a replica of your inner self. Everything is in it as if you actually talk to it. Then about me? Am I not your best friend? Am I even your friend? I thought I know everything about you and we share everything with each other- all our happiness,sadness,pain,gifts,fears and even feelings!!

G: Yes Samrat we do.

S: No we don't, we actually don't you didn't tell me whole lot of things and you still claim that we are best friends. What type of friendship is this?

G: Samrat please listen. I have told you everything but'..

S: But what hmm?

Gunjan was so confused as to what to answer and how to answer Samrat's queries and in between whenever she used to look at him just found his questioning eyes waiting for her answers and looking them she just quickly lowered her eyes as to avoid them but it seemed as if Samrat was in mood to spare her not this time atleast.

G: Samrat forget all this na chalo let's have coffee.

S: Stop behaving like this Miss.Gunjan Bhushan!!

Samrat's tone was a bit high which brought tears into Gunjan's eyes as Samrat has never spoken to anyone like that not atleast with her. After a pause he continues but this time lowering his tone.

S: Mujhe nahi bataya apni feelings k bare mein? Why? I promised you that nothing can come in between our friendship not even these feelings but no you thought I was just saying for the sake of it and hid them from me. You pretented to be my friend but on the other side had feelings for me. Why Gunjan why?

G: I am sorry Samrat please forgive me yeh sach hai that I love you but this can never break our friendship right? You will still continue to be my friend na?

S: NO!!

This 'No' hit Gunjan hard she felt as if someone had turned her world upside down and felt a heavy weight on her heart. She was just looking down with teary eyes when she felt him too close to her. He whispered ' Not friend but boyfriend' and Gunjan looked at him in surprise while he just took a rose from his jacket and gave it to her.

S: Our relationship is like this rose pure and sweet and this colour red symbolizes love. The unconditional love that we have for each other. Aesey mat dekho Chashmish kya sirf tumhein hi pyaar karne ka haq hai kya? Arey baba I also love you a lot I also don't know kabse it just happened and I was drawn towards you. I used to like every word that you say,every thing that you wore,everything that you ate and gradually fell in love with you more and more. I have never seen a girl like you so simple yet so beautiful who has a heart of gold, who can go to any extend for her friends,who cares for everyone's happiness around her even if it means sacrificing her own. You know what I would have been the most stupid person if I would not have loved you. Anyone can fall in love with you Chashmish and I am fortunate enough to say that I am the lucky one. So Miss. Gunjan Bhushan may I have the honour to be your's forever and can we proceeed to take our friendship to next level?

G: You' you love me?

Gunjan was surprised or rather shocked at all that was happening.

S: Yeah I do.

G: Samrat mazak mat karo.

S: Arey sach baba.

G: Acha so what was all that about you shouting at me and saying all those things han?

S: Oh all that it was just a joke yaar jab tumhari shakal par 12 baje dekhey to socha thori masti ho jaye.

Samrat had a wide grin and winked at Gunjan to which Gunjan gave a 'haaw' wala look and turned her face to the other side.

S: What happened yaar mazak tha. Sorry na.

G: Mian kesey main loon k mazak kar rahe tha pehley and what you said now is the truth?

S: Plz Chashmish. Plz believe me na.

G: Why should I?

With this she turned and saw Samrat holding his ears and making a cute sorry face which melted Gunjan's heart.

G: Nautanki. Ok fine I forgive you.

S: Obviously jahan Samrat ho wahan nautanki to hogi hi na.

Both burst out into laughter and Gunjan hit Samrat playfully.

S: Wait a minute now that you have forgiven me and you are smiling so I should get my answer as well right?

G: A' What what answer?

S: Come on now Chashmish don't pretend han. I am anxious to know.

G: What do you think my answer would be? Samrat now that we are aware of each other's hidden feelings so you should know my answer na.

Samrat came forward and held her hamds.

S: I know but still if I'll hear from you then it'll be great. Please.

G: I love you Samrat and I would be more than happy to be your's forever and ever.

S: I love you to Chashmish. Today I got everything in the world. What can be more beautiful to be with your love on the eve of New Year.

With this he pulled her into a never ending hug to which she responded happily and both would cherish their love for eternity for years to come. These two souls were made for each other completely different from each other but still something connected them and they always used to feel that connection in one way or another. That connection was of the most pure emotion called Love. Love binded them together and made them lovers who were incomplete without each other and with each other they completed the feeling of love and life became even more beautiful after they expressed their hidden feelings and started experiencing love-the bond of two souls.
