I seek the protection of God, I beseech Him for His mercy.

God grant us strength to cope with these cycles of hatred and vengeance. If I may quote Hamza Yusuf, (His in italics, the rest mine)

Over two thousand years ago, a wise Greek wrote, in our sleep pain which can not forget falls drop by drop upon the heart until in our own despair against our will, comes wisdom through the awe filled grace of God.

As these days return to us, they bring with them painful memories... they serve as a testimony of the horrors man is capable of inflicting upon his fellow man.

Just laws NOT unruly passions MUST guide men. Let us hate less and understand more, (let us begin) by giving careful attention to those who are still suffering...the wounded, the healing those in need of our love and support. Let us reject terrorism in all its forms, whether state sanctioned or otherwise.

God grant us strength and let us hold onto that light which strengthens our heart beat against this heart ache, that resilience of the human soul that stops us from drowning in the darkness of difficult days.

God bless us, and grant us His mercy, for we are ever in need of it. Ameen.

Thank God they are all okay...and i pray all our friends are safe and sound too...i saw the news and was shocked...was reminded of 26/11 all over again...God save everyone...I pray for everyone's safety...although i dont live in India but i believe in humanity and all this is just harming innocent ppl...i wish and pray it all stops for good...

I was so relvd to see Jun's update..it was scary...hope to hear frm Rati di soon...and its really upsetting that terrorists are targeting our country esp Mumbai again and again.praying for the departed souls and their families..
