Ek Ladka Tha, Ek Ladki Thi,
Hoti Kya Hain Jawaani Suno,
Ek Ladka Tha, Ek Ladki Thi,
Woh Bhi Ek Daur Tha,
Waqt Hi Aur Tha,
Jab Woh The Ajnabee,
Dono Tanha Se The,
Par Woh Kehte Kise,
Baat Jo Dil Mein Thi
On 8th December 2008, we saw a lovely dance between our lovely and beautiful couple Mayank & Nupur. It was no ordinary dance. It was a dance between two deeply wounded souls who longed deeply for each other. Though they convinced themselves that they loathed each other, and that they didn't need each other, deep down inside their hearts...deep down inside, their souls craved each other. For from the very moment these two people met, their souls had found their missing half, their mate...though Mayank & Nupur hated each other, their souls were already in love...they had connected.
The feeling of betrayal which hit Mayank like a lightning bolt made him ignore his hearts & souls desires. He let his mind win. Though he thought that it was Nupur's betrayal that hurt most, in reality it was the fact that he had to stay away from HER that hurt him the most. His soul had already chosen her, and his forcefully staying away from her, hurt him more than he thought it would.
Nupur felt hurt...one of her only friends in Excel had refused to give her a chance, refused to hear her out. In a way she too felt betrayed. She thought she was hurt by his rudeness and mean behavior towards her, but what actually hurt was the way this conflict separated their souls & hearts, which had already united.
Both Mayank and Nupur tortured their poor souls and kept themselves away from each other. But when these two wounded souls came together for a dance, their souls and hearts danced away to glory. Even when they supposedly hated each other, the passion, chemistry and just the feeling of love was visible in both their eyes. Mayank, though furious, showed his intensely passionate side while dancing with Nupur. Nupur recognized and liked the feeling of being next to him, so close, yet so far.
The dance was by far one of the most intense and passionate ones we have seen on Mayank and Nupur. Though as individuals they were mad at each other, their souls danced away to glory, and the extreme pleasure and happiness they found in each others' presence and arms was very much visible. It was sensuous, yet emotional.
Kudos to Arjun Bijlani & Rati Pandey for doing such a fabulous work on the dance. It was truly amazing! 👏
I had requested Kaju to make Vid Avi's & Siggies of the dance, here they are below, all free for use-
