Really loved the updt... Samrat did know by the expression wat was going within nupur..but nupur wisely turned to it altogether something different... Present is so much horrifying.. hope all the four come out of it safely n soon...

PRESENT>>

Nupur froze as she watched the ongoing struggle in the room , mayank had somehow sneaked upon the goon from behind and right now he was thrashing the man , there was this strange glint in his eyes that nupur had never seen before ..

What was it.. anger???

Ofcourse there was anger clearly reflected in his dark eyes , but there was something more too.. guilt?? Anger mixed with guilt.??

The man tried to retaliate , but he just wasn't given a chance , within seconds mayank had overpowered every inch of him and rendered him totally helpless to use any body defence ..

Nupur might not know much abt mayank's profession or so called secret profession , but she knew one thing , no one could beat this boy at hand combat , she would know it , she had seen the example a year before too when mayank had saved her life..

She didn't realise when samrat slipped from her hands.. she didn't realise when samrat darted forward into the room over to the pillar where gunjan was tied.. it looked as if a strange power had overtaken the two boys.. they moved around the damp room in a lith, graceful way, it reminded her of a tiger gaining power over his prey.. she couldn't imagine how?.. both of them were badly injured.. covered in blood, and yet now the energy the sync in their movements made her feel that they were blood brothers . way to powerful and if someone even dared to touch them now or dared to touch their beloved, they'll make them pay, badly...

Samrat was finally able to free gunjan n from the way she was leaning on him , nupur was preety sure that she had blacked out.. she wanted to move up their and help them , but she seemed to be frozen on her spot. The fear had her gripped tightly, and she was unable to break hold of those shackles..

There was something .. some strange kind of fear that had gripped her..

Suddenly she felt even more afraid then before ..

m-Nupur lets go ..

she moved then , forced her ankle to move in turn to move her feet with it..

she managed to stumble few steps forward towards mayank..

finally the feeling in her legs for returning ..

but then something cold and sharp stopped her..

it was a knife..

placed across the length of her neck.. she felt the sharpness of the blade just as she heard that cold voice

FLASHBACKS

Scene 1>>

G=seriously bhai what wrong with u ??? have u seen ur face?? U r sweating u know??

Mayank rubbed his kerchief on his forehead for umpteenth time. They had arrived at nupur's house and mayank had already doubled back to his jeep about five times making one excuse and then another.. gunjan was already getting pissed of with him but mayank had no idea how to go forward . how to go inside that house n meet the girl who lost all her family because of his..

He just didn't have enough courage to do that ..

M= nothing .. ummm gunjan i think i am not well i think i should go back home .. umm call me when to pick u up k ??

Saying that he turned n marched towards his jeep without even giving any chance to his sister to retaliate. But before he could take shelter in his jeep safely a voice stopped her.

N= mayank! Wont u come inside..

He turned, everything in him became undone.. she had just invited him to his home.. didn't she remember what has happened to her family coz of his??? May be she had forgiven him?? But how could she .. no one could ever have tht big a heart..

He turned , trying not to look much hopeful and failing at the same.

N= hey come inside both of u .. n pls help me . sam's angry with me and that brute of a boy has locked himself up in my room in my own house.. can u believe that??

G(laughing)= ofcourse we can . he wont be sam without doing any of those nutty things..

N= ooh now i see u smiling n laughing at the name of him.. hmm what was it that u said just this morning??? That u wont talk to him like ever ??? their goes a resolution out the window..

Gunjan's cheek's turned red from embarrassment .. mayank smiled.. nupur always had the gift to veer the conversations off the course. He never knew how she did that ..but he was glad that she had taken the entire attention of his sister to someone else making it totally impossible for her to note that something was amiss between nupur and her brother..

Luckily she was too busy avoiding eyes and blushing to note the spark that flew between him n nupur whenever their eyes met ..

Scene 2>>

Samrat knew gunjan and mayank had arrived downstairs . he could hear them coming up the stairs.. but he couldn't make himself to move and greet them .. something .. the look in nupur's eyes had him imprisoned.. there was sth she was hiding from him . today morning , even if for just a second nupur seemed completely lost when she saw that new boy ..

And even few minutes before when the call came n gunjan told her abt her brother, nupur looked lost ,, that look had haunted him for months..

After uday's and tamanna's death nupur had been totally devastated . she didn't cry but would curl up for hours , would stare at nothing for hours and wont move.. the deadness in her eyes had always chilled him back then ..

Today he saw a hint of that time again and that terrified him .

And then there was this feeling that he had seen this mayank guy before.. it looked as if he knew him though sam didn't even had the slightest inclination about from when?

He reluctantly got up from the bed and moved towards the door as the sound of the foot steps sounded much nearer now. He might as well go out n face them , may be seeing gunjan would calm down his nerves??

He didn't notice where he was going much as a result he banged into the wooden bedside table .

S=AAAOOOUUUCCHHH!!!

Gunajan was almost at the first floor when she heard samrat's scram , with one miss of a heart beat she ran in the direction of the room from which the sound apparently came ..

As she opened the door she saw sam jumping around the room with his toe in his hands , swearing at his best speed.. so fast that gunjan couldn't even differentiate one severe word from the next... but she knew sam was using some pretty strong ones!!

Great what an impression to be made on her brother..

N(barging inside the room n moving past gunjan)= what did u do with ur foot??

S= what did i do??i didn't do nothing !! it was ur stupid bedside table . seriously nupur everything in ur dam house hates me!!!!

N= what? now its the fault of my bedside table??? Du u even know how expensive it is???

S= what the hell has price tag to do anything with hurting poor people's feet .. this is the third time that that monster of a table has injured me !!!

N= its not his fault if u keep on moving around my house blindly.. normal people normally look where they are going!!! And my poor bedside table doesn't know that u r not normal !!!

S= seriously??? Its been years since i have come to ur house every day!!! Anyone else would have figured that out by now!

N= SAMMM!!!

S=NUPPUUURRR!!!

G= eeehhh?? Umm should we go down n wait?? Message me when u two r done k??

S= no wait we r done!! Sorry about that .. it pained when i banged myself in that thing.. n pain makes me go mad n i keep blabbering stupid stuff then !!.

N= like he is doing now..

S= will u shut up??

N=with pleasure!!!

Mayank smiled. This side of nupur he had never seen before.. she was laughing and bantering n being comfortable.. during the time he had known her , all that he had seen in those eyes was pain , guilt and anguish and sometimes a terrible fear too.. this freshness in her eyes made mayank warm up to this boy.. sam . he knew his sister gunjan currently was hell nervous , thinking that sam was making the worst impression possible on her elder brother.. he laughed .. and the sound of it made everyone look at him ..

M= what??

S= u laughed!

M= ehh!! Umm i guess since i am a human i am entitled to laugh ..

G= ya but why .. what was soo funny in their stupid fight??

M= that they reminded me of us.. when we were small, umm before that accident .. didn't we used to fight the same way??

Gunjan looked away embarrassed . she knew sam and nupur both thought that she was this innocent goody goody girl.. she was, but she also had this perky side to her nature that till date only her brother had seen ..

S= wait what u mean .. that gunjan too used to fight like this cat named nupur does??

M=(laughing again) ya she did..

N= mayank you too think that i am a cat??

Mayank looked at her dumbfounded.. their she did it again , has she forgotten that neither gunjan nor samrat knew that they have met before.. that they had met when nupur has lost all her family.?? The way she was talking to him made it sound like they both already knew each other..

Doesn't she want to keep both sam n gunjan in dark about this?? Shouldn't she technically pretend to have never ever met him before n be rude to him coz somehow she knew mayank meant danger n that if she ever went closer to his life she might suffer??... yet again...

G= the way u two talk makes me feel that u two have already met!!

S= n i feel like i already know u .. i just don't remember how?

M= NO..

G= what no?? U haven't met before??

M= No . no i meant i don't think nupur is a cat , she is more like a tigress..

Nupur laughed and samrat and gunjan looked at the pair of the two dumbfounded.. both of them literally were stunned to the core when the next second nupur marched towards mayank and hugged him and mayank returned the embrace just as tightly..

N= i am happy that i got to see u again ..

M=and i am totally surprised at that.. but i am happy that u feel that way !!
