PART 8:

Mayank reached the hospital and saw nupur was sitting outside the hospital room..

N..maa ko throat cancer hai...2 saal se...maa ki throat main jo clot tht wo burst ho gaya hai..pori body main zehr phel raha hai...kisi bhi waqt body respond karna band kar sakti hai...

Mayank couldnt believe his ears, nupur was telling him all of this in an extremely dry voice, and taers were continously flowing from her eyes...Mayank went into the hosipital room

SB...a gaye tum..

M..ye kia ho gaya hai aunti..

SB...is ko rehne do..ik baat mano gey...

M.....ap eh k tu dikheye..

SB..nupur se shaadi kar lo..

Mayn was stunned...it seemed as fi everything around him stopped, he didnt know how to react, what to say, what to answer..

SB..mayank tum nupur ko jante ho na..kaisi larki hai... agr main ne us ki shaadi nahi karwai tu zindagi bhar akeli reh jaye gi...mian ne bht koshish ki us ki shaadi ki lekin wo nahi mani...ab merey pas aur koi rasta nahi hai..main usey asiey akela chor kar nahi ja sakti..

Maynk was still silent..he felt that his toungue was not responding.

Nupur entered..

SB..nupur aj mai jo kahon gi tujhe karna pare ga...tumjhe maynk se shaadi karni pare gi..

Nupur immedetely looked at mayank who was staring at the ground.

SB..nupur tu mujhe chian ki zindagi dena chati thi na, aj main tujh se chain ki maut mang rahi hon beta...shaadi kar lo., mai janti hon tum dono se behter ik dosre ko ki nahi samjhta..shaiyed tum dono ko lage k main khud garz hon, leikn maa apne bacho ka bura nahi soch sakti..main tum dono k agey hath jorti hon meri maut asaan kar do..

M..aunti ye kia kar rahi hia...thek hai...ap jaisa chati hain waisa hi hoga..

Nupur couldnt resist, her dying mother was pleading in front of her, she coildnt argue...

It seemd as if shilpa had a new energy injected into her.

SB..tu thek hai, mandir chlatey hain..main abhi tum dino ki shaadi karna chati hon..

Docter entered.

SB..ku docter mian mandir tak tu ja sakti ho na apne bachon ki shaadi karney

D..bilkul ja sakti hain..nurse ..in ko wheel chair pe shift karo..

Maynk went to the docter

M..docter ye ap kia kar rahe hain..aunti ki tabyiat itni kharab hai aur ap..

D..dekhiye..i understand, lekin in ka clot busrt ho gaya hai...zehr bht tezi se phel raha hai...hum kuch nahi kar sakte..ye hospital main rahen ya phir bahir, koi farq ahi parta..main pechle do saal se in ka treatment kar raha hon, ye apni beti ki shahdi k liye ji rahi hain, please in ki akhri khwaish pori kar dijiye..

Maymnk cuoldnt believe his ears..it was all moving so fast, he was feeling all his body numb

D..lekin ap ki tasali k liye mian sath chata hon...

They all reached the mandir, mayank and nupur didnt talked to each other, shilpa was very hpapy, she was constantly talking to the docter about t nupur and mayank's marraige and the docter was talking with her as to make her feel better.

The docter bought mangl sutr and sindoor.

Both of them were married, it , but none of them could feel anything, thier eyes, heart and hands were all numd, they were juts responding to he instructions they were given...

Mayank put the sindoor on nupur and then manglsutra, he didnt loked onto her yes, bcz he himself didnt had the power to accept what was happening to him.

After thier mariage they both turned towards shilpa but SHE WAS DEAD!!...

D..i am sorry, but she is no mre.

Nupur felt as if her whole world stopped at that moment

M..docer ye kise ho gaya, 5 min pehe tak tu..ye

D..dekhiye insaan kabhi kahbhi apni akhri khwashish pori hone tak ka intezar karta hai, us ki will power us ka sath deti hai, jaise hi inhone dekha k ap k shaadi ho gai hai, in ki will power khatam ho gai...

Mayank for the first time didnt want to look at nupur, he could hear her crying. It was almost midnight. Nupur was just holding shilpa's hand and looking at her and mayank was looking upowards towards the sky asking God that he had snatched a mother from him the second time..

The docter made all the arrangements nupur perfromed all the last ritauls of shipla and her body was burnt early morning..

Nupur sat thier watching her mother leaving her .

M...thank u docter ap ne jo kya hai imean is waqt mujh main ya nupur main tu bilkul bhi himmat nahi thi

D..its ok mayank..shilpa g jaise inaan is duniya mian bht kam hotey hain, main un ki dil se bht izat karta tha, isi liye ye sab kiya hai, ab bus un ki beti ka khayal rakhna..wo bht pyarr karti thi apni beti se..lekin wo tum oe bharso karti thi, is liya opni beti ko tumhare pass chor kar gayi hain..khyaal rakhna is ka..

Docter left and mayank was tanding there seeing nupur.

Nupur got up and started walking towrads her home,

mayank and nupur hadnt talked to each other,

Nupur eached her home , clutched shipla's duppta and started crying gan

docter's words were ecohing in maynk's ears

"WO TUM PE BHAROSA KAR K APNI BATI KO TUMHARE PASS CHOR KAR GAYI HAIN"

mayank was thinking that WHAT NEXT??...SHOULD HE TAKE NUPUR TO HIS HOME??...WILL NUPUR AGRRE??..HE COULD NOT LEAVE HER HERE ALONE!!...BUT WHAT SHOULD HE SAY TO HER...HOW SHOULD HE SAY TO HER..

M..nupur...

nupur turned towards mayank and mayank coldn't bear the pain in her eyes...He went close to her and sat down on his knees, nupur was sitting on the sofa..

N..tumhe bhi mujhe pe bharosa nahi hai aur maa ko bhi mujh pe bharosa nhai tha, tabhi tum pe bhoj bana kar chali gayi hain...

This thing really hurted mayank

Nupur had strated crying again.Maynk was in a dillemma, but he left, he knew that at that time his presence was painful for nupur.

Mayank reached home where samrat was ecstatic to see mayank.

S..i can understand, per tum kar bhi kia sakte ho, after all usey time tu lage ga normal hone main, tum usey thore dino k liye akela chor do, kafi self esteem wali larki hai, usey acha nahi lagta hoga k koi stranger us se symphthay kare..

M..main stranger nahi hon..

S..oh ho...ik tarah se stranger hi ho na..sirf dost hai na tumhari..

Samrat was shocked at mayank's statement. Mayank told him the whole happenings.

S..mujhe pata tha tum is larki k liye kuch ghalat zaroor karo gey..kaha tha na door raho us se..per tum meri baat mante kab ho..

S..tu meri jaga hota tu tu bhi mana nahi kar sakta tha..

Mayank said this and went to his room..After sometime samrat came

M..koi baat nahi..

S.ab agey kia socha hai

M...pata nahi..bus main usey akela nahi chor sakta...

S..hmmm...abhi tum thora araam kar lo...subha college main us se phir se baat karna..thek hai..

M...samrat wo maan jaye gi na..

Samrat's eyes filled with tears at mayank's innocnce..

S..nahi mane gi tu main apni bhabhi ko zabardsti le aaon ga...tum tension mat lo.

Mayank hugged samrat, he really needed support of someone.

Next morning both got ready for college..

M..samrat main pehle nupur k ghr jata hon

S..nahi, pehle clg jao, agr clg nahi aye gi tu ghr jana..

mayank was anxiously waiting for nupur in the clg, he had never waited for her like this never before., and then she entered.

Maynk was shocked to see nupur...something inside him broke..he never thought that he would react like this but the truth was that HE WAS HURT!!...He was hurt to see nupur the SAME SHE USED TO BE...he expected.....
