So, as per the order given to me, i'm here Aahana. U know, i don't post on IF now...but i cudn't refuse ur order. Well...i'll try my best to make SOME sense here..but i know..a lot of chappals will be coming my way after this post. So, i think..i shud start wid a diclaimer.
The content below is purely my POV. I do NOT intend to bash anyone here...and watever i'm writing involves the 4 leads of the show...coz nowadays they all are sooo connected.
Well..well...well... Let me start by a confession. Most of u know, that I am one of those SG fans, who are ALWAYS tilted and biased towards Gunjan. She was, is, and will b my reason of watching the show, coz i've always related with that girl. Needless to say, this makes me a HUGE Sanaya fan..coz SHE has made Gunjan sooo sooo special for me. Had it been any other actress...mayb, i wudn't have related to this character soooo much. Thus, for me...Sanaya/Gunjan are the soul of MJHT.
Having said this...another confession---Since the beginning of S2, i have fallen in love with Samrat. His transformation from a boy..to a MAN...leaves me speechless. His pain, his guilt, his loneliness, his selflessness, makes me teary-eyed whenever I watch his scenes. The guy who used to be the life of the college..brought a smile on everyone's face...was left in tears only...tears of pain, grief and worst..of GUILT. Mohit did a fab. job here... I've always believed and we've discussed it several times that MoNaya are soooooo great, in fact, experts in doing emotional stuff. They make us connect wid them instantly and we start feeling their pain...Be it the scenes like "LOOK AT ME.." or the ones where Gunjan hugged Sam...or Sam making Gunjan realize that watever she says...her eyes always tell the truth, which is that, she still loves him.
First and foremost, I'm now seriosuly concerned abt the dialogues of the show. SG, as we all know, have always had the MOST beautiful and soulful dialogues...and that's why in every track, and even now...we want them to talk things over. But NOW..with this new person, i'm very much worried on this front. The likes of "LOOK AT ME.."...the ones like, "kal ka sapna, aj ki haqeeqat"...etc. etc..seem to have vanished now. These days, the dialogues are not connected and at times, they seem to be very incomplete.
Coming to the epi...well...i have a somewhat different take. I agree with u all that Sam's pain came to surface, when Nups asked him abt his relation wid her. If we see, Sam was the only one who was a bit in his senses after seeing Nups and also...he was the one, who was trying to raise questions. Reason---the guy has suffered like hell for no fault of his..and now, when the reason for that fault doesn't exist anymore...he can't let this opportunity go. Also, if we see, Gunjan and Mayank are more closely related to Nups, as compared to Sam..and this is wat puts him in a questioning position. The other two just want Nups back..in ANY way, at ANY cost...whereas, Sam has to ensure that Nups comes back.
Honestly speaking... I wasn't too happy with Sam's dialogues today (ooopppsss...did i actually say this?? 😆😆) I mean, they could have been better. Before killing me, lemme explain....Nups asked Sam that "tum bhi bata do, tumhara bhi koi rishta ho ga merey saath..ya tum in dono se alag ho?"...Well, acc. to me, it was a golden opportunity that was not utilized coz of poor dialogues (i'm not saying anything abt Mohit;s acting..am refering to the dialogues only)... Sam replied, "Haan, mein tumhari behen ka mangetar tha...aur tum hamesha mujhey dhamkati thi..ke kuch bhi kerna, magar meri behen ko kabhi hurt mut kerna..lekin mein ne chashmish ko hurt ker dia...woh accident meri wajah se hua tha, aur tum hum se alsg ho gayi..aur Chashmish 3 saal tuk tumhara intezar kerti rahi"...Selfless again...bearing the pain again..taking the blame on himself again...not thinking abt himself..but abt his Chashmish and her sister...This guy is really unbelievable..How can someone be sooo selfless??? But....in my opinion..this wasn't the time to take self-blame... I strongly feel that in response to Nupur's question..Sam shud've thrown the ball in her court. You know, something like "Haan, mera tumharey saath rishta THA...per ab mein in sab se alag hun, in sub ne mujhey khud se alag ker diya...TUM ne mujhey in sub se alag ker dia..." This wud've created a multiple impact...i,e, on Nupur, as well as on Gunjan.
Don't u think, Aahana...instead of SG and M taking blame on themselves, they shud state the facts for Nupur?? Wat I mean to say is...even if she's angry or its a case of memory loss...Nups needs to know that she is not the ONLY ONE who suffered coz of that accident. She WAS not alone, she IS not alone. The other three also lost EVERYTHING and for three years, they literally stopped living LIFE... Also, when Sam said that i was ur sister's fiance' and u told me never to make her shed even a songle tear... I wasn't convinced as such...coz, the same sister was crying sooo helplessly in front of Nupur, just a while ago.. If her tears didn't move the lady..i don't think Sam's words wud've had any impact on her.. Also..if her hubby and sister, who are the most closest relations..almost begging in front of her, didn't do anything...how can she react to her sister's fiance' (hate to write, but supposedly Ex-fiance')...But yes, mayb if he said something like...I'm alone, coz of u..we're all shattered, coz u left us..mayb that made Nups realize (if she's angry) that after her SG and M were also as devastated as she was. Thus, i believe...SG and M have to throw the ball in Nupur's court and instead of blaming themselves...they need to make her believe..that YES...we were alive after u, we survived in the accident..but we haven't LIVED since then..only coz, we LOST u.
Also, as i said earlier, this wud've made Gunjan see Sam's pain. I seriously don't want Sam to show his wounds himself (and I request the CV's, the new writer not to take it this way). I WANT Gunjan to see...feel..and realize Sam's pain HERSELF.
Lastly...I strongly feel that Sam will be the one who will reunite Gunjan, Nupur and Mayank....and this way he will be relieved of the burden that has made him life a live worst than death every second. I think, and I hope that HE will bring back the family together...for this he will make a plan...or just like, he's taking the lead..he will continue to do so...and in this, Gunjan and Mayank (mayb) might help him. While executing the plan..there will be every possibility of Gunjan seeing his pain..coz to bring Nupur back, he will have to go down the memory lane and rewind wat all happened in the 3 yrs that changed everyone's life. He was blamed to be the one who took Nupur away ... now, he will be the one who will give Gunjan and Mayank their Nupur back...and that will end his misery. After this, I want him to distance himself...coz his wounds are still very much there and uncured...they need to be and they WILL be seen, felt and cured by Gunjan.
So, i think, this track has potential...and i hope the new writer doesn't messes it up.

BTW Aahana..if i'm not mistaken..i heard the mention of "bauji" in the epi..This means, he's still in the loop and can be called as and when needed. I genuinely hope that he's invited on his younger daughter's wedding 😍😍, to give his blessings.
