Before returning to my hybernation mode, I thought I'd check what's happening here. We're almost done with Paro (Except for Anu's response as she's currently having her exams). So now we need to move to Devdas. Guys, thank you all for making this a success.

Ishita, meri bachi.. buhut hogayi mauj masti. ab kuch kaam hojaye? (Your upcoming assignment, remember?). If you dont have short-term memory loss problem like me, you should remember that we are due to work together on Devdas. So get to work! You have a whole lot of 10 days. Watch both the parts on this thread or Naveen's gallery to refresh your memory. And write a response to the character of Devdas. Send it to me, and I'll add to it my bit. Better send it through an email (I'm sending you my email address through pm).

Okay now seriously speaking, I know you have collage too. So don't burden yourself. Take your time, but not your 'own sweet' time!

And yeah, continue missing me for the next ten days..

Once again, thank you everyone who spared some time to this thread. Hope to see you all again with our Devdas narrative.

Oh and of course not to forget, thank you Sanaya for gifting us this amazing act. It is difficult to make something worthy of praising you as Paro, so this was only an attempt.

You know Sonya, I never believed you could dream of fictional characters..actors, anything like that! But you know last week or so, I had a Mohit-Sanaya dream!! Not sure though if it was MoNaya or SaJan !! Lolzz!! And I was like...OMG..I cant believe it !!!

And about Mohit and Sanaya, I just saw them again in a longgg dream last night. This time I saw them as Gunjan and Samrat. I know they're irresistable!!!! You can never have enough of them... !

"wandered around like a lost soul." - Beautiful .. absolutely beautiful !! So true, (you know it took me a minute to find the name for the character, not Sanaya, not Gunjan, ahh..PARO)
Paro ultimately was successful, at last Dev came to her - but when he made the decision to leave her again, she didnt know what to do; her mind was blank! But the interesting thing is that she STILL was very very much present in that very moment and didnt waste any second of her life, and looked for Dev!!
Thank god she found him..I dont want to imagine what would have happened had she not found him !!

Life stood before her eyes, and it only needed embracing.

Loved this phrase! Because thats exactly the point! Dev is the reason for her living, for bearing all the loneliness during these years - and she has to have the courage now to embrace Dev - meaning she would spend the rest of her life with Dev - meaning she would LIVE her life now, not passively ..actively! the world she created during all these years..consisted of her and Dev, the only reason why she could live so far, and now this fairy world has actually become her reality - or atleast she is soo soo about to cross the bridge which connects her own world and the real world!! or rather, her real and fantasy world is becoming ONE world!

No worries Anu. But I'm glad you decided to watch the scene again before discussing Paro. That's what everyone should do while commenting on something even if you've read/watched the piece a million times. Currently, I'm working on a writing a critique of a poem and every time I resume after a pause, I decide to read it all over again. I have literally memorized the poem, but I still look at it again. It might not seem so important at first, but it really makes a lot of difference.

As I was looking for Devdas videos on the show's website, I came across this ultra-cute comment. If you truly want to know how you feel about a particular thing, you should give an impromptu comment. Unfortunately I didn't write anything when I first saw Sanaya as Paro, but this viewer has done so - impulsive responses can be soooo cute.

Gunjan kia ho tum koi pari ho shayad.devdas mai to paro thi ye pari kahan say a gai.gunjan u r the soul of mjht. Pehlay mai nay tumhain barbie doll kaha tha aur ab mai tumhain ek aur naam dati hon gunjan(sanaya)pari.
