NEEL OBEROI... a character that intrigued me - Page 2

while M at it....i mean posting 🤣 I wanna say I got bak to catching up on mjht after a while (more like 2 tracks later) on the recommendation of a friend who wanted me to check out Neel..coz she knew I wld love him...for the uninitiated I do have a thing for the Men not the boys 🤣

ok stupid jokes apart..I for the same reasons u quoted like Neel- his focus , his humbleness in spite of being successful..also i m interested to know what he does to the leads...I was encouraged to see that his presence got the much needed track...the youth thinking about their dreams and aspirations..lets hope I am not speaking too soon

I do like the character Neel and really hope the CVs don't turn him negative. But I know it will be sad since a love triangle will always end in sadness for one - and in this case it will be Neel who will not get the one he sees as his and to whom he's so attuned that he senses her presence whenever she's near him! The way I see his character currently is that he left his home town with a picture of a girl in his heart, frozen in time, who became his motivation, his inspiration and drove him to new heights of success - and now that he's reached the pinnacle of success he wants to share this with the one whom he considers to be his soul mate. But as they say - time marches on and so has the love of his life - of course not knowing that she was the love of his life - and she has found her own soul mate in this march of time!!

He's becoming a well defined character as you so correctly put it and has his own story to tell. I must say I loved his impact on Mayank and on MN as a couple. Mayank suddenly sees another individual who reminds him of his own goals and his own aspirations!! and it is Nupur who brings to light this fact pointing out that he's only a couple of years older - but has achieved so much!! I know his role is more in the SG storyline - but I am loving the side effects of his entry in the MN line.

I just hope his character is handled well! At the moment he is quite unaware of SG as a couple - and I'm sure it would be heart breaking to watch him realize it that maybe he was too late in reaching out for the one that really mattered to him! One can never say in the matters of the heart!! In achieving his success he lost the girl! I am reminded of Mayank's mom's words when she advised Mayank - that in trying to focus on success and not taking into account his feelings - he may end up losing both!!

But for the moment it will be interesting to see how the story develops!!

brilliant topic AJ....and yes i agree......i guess this maybe one of the reasons why amit accepted the charecter in the first place......as you said his love for gunjan didnt go the all mush way instead he made her a part of his dream project......the way he behaves though a lil weird .....but he still has somethin g unique about him....he had a dream he chased it and now hes living it......finally they showed someone who made his love for gunjan-if it is his strenght to achive this goal rather to make it act as a barrier......and yes....i hope Mayank and samrat infact all the guys of MJHT get inspired to become like him...
also to add the writers of MJHT have done a good job on the charecter of neil,and yes not to forget amit himself who looks so convincing as neil!

I've been positive about Neil from the day he was introduced ... and i'm happy so far with the way the Cv's are showing his character. Although he's come definitely in search of Gunjan, he's still shown as being committed and dedicated to his work, and the best part is that there seems to be a proper track around this character. The character itself has a definite story and identity - a person similar to Gunjan, befriended by her ... even defended by her ... and so his motivation for seeking her out is plausible and very believable. Sounds good - let's see how they take it!

@bold....exactly... after the past 2 tracks ..I had written off MJHT and was sure it was going off air pretty soon... but this track looks promising... ( I will bite my words later if this doesn't come true ) ...for once I don't want the CVs to listen to viewers... and continue to work on both leads ..one step at a time....let's see

Hey Kiran... @BOLD..the edited part caught my eye.. hmmm that would be absolutely interesting to see...an absolute contrast to Mayank... For Mayank he got the girl ...but lost his dream... Neel on the other hand has his dream but may never get the girl... wow ... Waise Shilpa is very smart don't you think... she gave hints long time ago...

@Red ... I loved the way you put it ... lets see how time will solve the puzzle ( CVs please take it slow and easy ...don't drag )

Shruti...ahhh...@ bold...that would be wonderful to see.... up until now...I have never seen MJHT characters do anything serious with life... fun has its place...but if I could spend my life is college eating in canteen and running around the corridors..that would be great...then I wouldn't know how to support myself..... so lets see if Neel indeed manages to inspire the guys....or the guys inspire him to eat and roam freely in college...😆😆

@Italics - Have to totally agree with you AJ!! Shilpa is one very smart lady - she gave her son the right advice a long time ago - when her son was not even aware of the strength of his feelings for Nupur. Now that he has the girl - what stops him from focusing on his dream and reaching for success. He may actually end up achieving both :) And specially, given the fact that we are all rooting for him - I'm pretty sure he will!!
