@ Revathy... I still doubt the graceful exiting.... 😆 I may be wrong but I think we just saw the last of him...if not maybe will be his last scene on Monday...As for me..I restarted this show just for this cameo...coz he inspired me..and it will be history for me once he is gone too 😆 although I did love the little stint..

about Gunjan...you know why I never wanted her to find out about Neel's feelings...for this very reason...coz his feelings would end up being stripped of dignity.. Well to put it right it was hard for Gunjan to see it objectively..for most in a relationship they would undeniably think of their partner and themselves... may be someday she would not be so awkward about it and see his feelings for what they are...in fact this thing really baffles me when I see couples around too..they find it really hard to see beyond their little world..besides I thinkn Neel drew inspiration from Gunjan but I dont think he was her friend as such.. coz she always told Samrat he was her first male friend....the affection was always one sided..

as for Neel even today...his Objective reasoning prevailed.. thats precisely why I drew parallels with Howard Roark... OBJECTIVITY...is what they share..and Ofcourse immense self -respect..thats why neither Roark nor Neel made a tiny effort to defend themselves..even that bit where he tries to tell her that he did not chose her because of his feelings..for more for her benefit than his..

I know this may be it for this thread too..but I had immense pleasure spamming.. especially...conversing with you..its been a while since someone shared my literary taste..would love to be in touch... Sorry AJ I think you sorta gave up on us long back... 🤣told you I am a gate crasher

I for once am actually happy because CVs left with with a dignity he deserved..... This may be the only cameo worth remembering other than CJ..

@sonali..what gets to me is Gunjan was supposedly a character who thinks of others always...ever since she fell for samrat...she's never been shown thinkin abt anythin else but him 😡.
And you are right, the scene only showed us even their friendship was more one-sided, ..that is what disappointed me more since I felt his feelings deserved to be acknowledged atleast, if not reciprocated.
I absolutely agree on the self-respect part...I see why you are comparin him with Roark....apart from objectivity, both men believe in loving without expecting anythin in return ⭐️.
This thread will be special because of some of the wonderful thoughts people have put across, AJ's Neel oberoi impact analysis on the leads, your chris gardner/roark analogies or quoting bryan adams or ronan keating songs 😍 , to name a few 😊....one reason I wanted to spam here everyday to keep it active and though it was for a very short while, was well worth it. Yea I'll miss posting here 😔.
But, we'll definitely be in touch 🤗 .

@ Revathy...I am not the best to try to understand Gunjan's POV coz I have a hard time relating to her 🤣 esp post rose day onwards..anyhow... yes I know what you mean..but i see it as a rush to end this track..they cldnt care less to dwell into Neel and Gunjan's equation...I guess coz it doesnt garner TRPs n fan girls drooling 🤣 they wld rather show SG in tht time when they have to wrap the season in a week...I did find it rather insensitive and out of character on her part but I just thought coz it was sketchy 🤣

jeez u pretty much gave the summary of all the posts that were interesting or motivated further discussion..

AJ I demand a good closure for this post now 🤣 something we never get in MJHT...I am waiting to see something on the lines of yer intro 🤣

well going by the past record of how they showed gunjan ignorant of her sister's feelings becoes she was madly in love with samrat, this mustn't come as a surprise....i think the cvs should make all the main characters disappear and bring them back as cameos..maybe ther would be some consistency in characterization then ....lame logic I knw 😆

As a closure to this thread, maybe we can reminise some good scenes on Neel. Which scene of his made you take notice of this character? Apart from you and me, maybe AJ ..no one maybe replyin in the thread..as it is ppl are frettin abt the main leads dying...I say whoever is dying the cvs have decided to show mercy on tat character from furthur butchering...how I wish it was nupur 😆.

🤣 U said it...I so wish its Sanaya leaving 🤣 I swear even I want the leads as cameos in season 2..some how only the cameos leave u with a good after taste 🤣 like CJ.. Purab and of course Neel...

I liked Neel from the begining..atleast when he introduced himself to Gunjan..there was something genuine and likeable about him...I think it was his stark honesty and sincerity.. but one scene that really got me involved in his character...was him blowing off the lid at Gunjan after she underperformed..and then no apologies about how he reacted and tried to show her the reality...to step out of her lil comfortable bubble there...that DID IT for me I think 👍🏼

P.S.. I was also thinking how very less people could sit back and enjoy this track..coz most were wracking their brains to figure out exactly when does Neel turn Negative... 🤣 and now the suspense of the season...Who DIES 🤣

Hello guys,

Did Neil's cameo came to an end? When, how? Neil was one amazing and charismatic character. The best part that he was so sincere yet human nothing superhero about him. He was just a simple man who spoke when required, who did as needed and who acted as the situation demanded.

Not someone who would calculate everything, but yes as they say think before you speak, he planned well and thought before he said or did anything. His act of punching possibly might be out of the line but all in all a character who makes me proud.

I really like the idea of cameos. I missed the exit of Neil though!

@sonali Ah not fair...tat Neel-Gunjan scene is my favorite too. I didn't think much about him on the first few days...I was skeptic about the cameo to begin with....this scene however, really made me sit back and take notice of the potential of this character...a focused,no-nonsense guy yet a sensible friend. I have infact mentioned this scene twice in this thread i think.

I also didn't expect the way he was used to inspire Mayank...guess it was nice to be surprised when u dont have much expectations. 😊

@P.S: my sentiments exactly...had people tried to sit back and notice Neel, instead of getting worked up over when he is goin to show his true color..they would have been able to appreciate him. Although, as they say many great personalities were never appreciated during their time...so Neel could be in tat league. Man, I think am starting to sound more like you 🤣

Senny no there wasn't officially an exit of Neil...but we are assuming that we might have seen the last of him, now that Gunjan has decided to not do the movie 😆.
I agree on what you said about Neel except for the punch part. He was frustrated and it came out at the person who was a reason for his dream to coming to an end....but if you watch his expression after he hits samrat, you can see the regret there....this scene only showed his human side 😊

Hey Revathy,

I agree man, that would only show that he is human but he keeps a check on his words and actions really well. Punching just shows one of our weaknesses i.e. of not being able to contain our frustration but then again coming round the circle, he is just human.

Oh i see, i am glad that he had a short role and we knew that he was here for sometime. I do have a habit of being so closely attached to characters that letting go becomes hard. Neel would be remembered well. I am talking as if he is dying, glad he isn't. Hearing of someone dying just leaves a bitter taste.

On another note, Gunjan I guess might end up doing the movie ahead. But I guess with this season ending, they might wrap up this all as well.
