Being a MN fan feels like a "real experience"...Almost "life changing"..
We all get attached to a certain serial or fictional show to get away from reality, to enjoy....When we don't enjoy we search for other modes of entertainment...Mostly we quit...But with MM its quite the opposite...Its like we are fighting for their storyline , their screen space just like the way we fight for real issues, for things that matter in our lives....I wonder why...

After a lot of thinking I realised that its mainly due to two reasons....
1)The character of Mayank and Nupur which was created as a whim and turned into a masterpiece...
2)The actors who potrayed them were way above mediocracy..or I might say excellent...

The utter lack of interest in cultivating these two characters or their storyline...The sparing screen space they get...The way they are used or worse the way they are not used adds the cherry to the cake to our woeful state of fanhood....Already our sanity is questioned and on top of that our self mockery doesnt entertain us any more.. .Its not funny when we say that we are disheartened with the stuffs in MJHT...we say because Its really NOT funny....

After repeated attempts at trying to revamp the characters we have not been heard...i wonder what the creatives actually think or want? We seem to care as much if not more for these two characters than the Creators or the Makers themselves....If we were heard we could have reached a level of excellence unseen in present Indian-TV scenario...

I can write pages and pages of analysis over this...But i won't...Life is short and we have limited period of time and emotions for everything...Hope the precious time we spent(I still dont use the word "wasted" ) gives us back some satisfaction....Because its for the sake of satisfaction for a clear aesthatic mind that we got attached to MN in the first place...not because we wish to see passionate scene or cute romance or dance segmnts on a random basis....If we really had to we would have stuck with movies and books which specialise in these fields...

@black:Exactly its not that there arent better shows than this one currently on TV..Have seen many couples with more believable storyline,better written scenes,costume,background music everything..The only thing they lack are phenomenol performers which MN have...What made MN unique is the ability of the actors to make the most cliched trip and catch or hand holding the most beautiful scene ever..Even with the not so impressive treatment metted out to them,they had put their heart and soul which made MN love story intriguing for me...THeir chemistry which shines through all the odds stacked against them:)
@red:BINGO!!!👏👏👏..Many have already MOVED on tired of cribbing..WE will soon follow suit if this continues..Then again its not gonna be our loss ultimately .....Actors will find greener pastures even though this idea may seem far fetched to some

I would call myself a Mayank Nupur appreciator...I have outgrown or rather been forced to outgrow the "being a fan phase" a long time ago, courtesy the Creatives of the show. The MN appreciators have always had faith in the two actors who portray Mayank and Nupur. Even after such horrendous story lines, dialogues and costumes, this faith in the capabilities of these two actors refuses to get shaken by even a millimeter. Ironically this faith has always been projected as misplaced faith because it absolutely fails to find similar echoes in the minds of the creatives, the production house and the channel who came up with the concept of MJHT. The Creatives enjoy bringing the MN fans down to their knees. The MN fans have been reduced to begging the Creatives for meaningful scenes, no character digressions and more screen space. The Creatives choose to studiously ignore the requests and pleas of just the MN fans. Thus the power equation between the MN fans and the Creatives has always been very very lopsided and has consequently led to the steady demise of MN as lead characters of the show. Experiments with regards to costumes and storyline have inevitably fallen upon the steady shoulders of these two dedicated actors, time and again. Blind dedication to their work has been shamelessly exploited by the Creatives of this show. Despite MN's status as the show's trump cards, the Creatives choose to sideline them for the better part of the episodes. What is the problem in giving MN and the actors Rati and Arjun their just due? They look good, act even better, bring inane songs to life through their graceful dancing, redefine chemistry and have established the MN jodi as the most adorable and unique jodi in Tellyland. This is an objective observation, not just any random fangirly gushing. Why can't MN TALK sensibly? Why do they always have to enact either of two fixed things, fight or hug? Romance for the heck of it is just not appealing. Two strong egoistic individuals in a relationship has the potential to be a beautiful story. Their inevitable clashes, the adjustments they make, the compromises, the difference in outlooks can translate into a powerful story on screen. However, none of these things have been ever applied to the MN track in MJHT. Again I ask WHY??????? As Divya has pointed out the MN jodi as well as the MN fan/appreciator is cursed! The only good thing is that MN has converted me into a YouTube lover because I catch up on all the 2 minute MN scenes there. No way do I want to contribute to the precious TRP's of ur show when MN are always given a raw deal (Yes I do come in the metered zone, in case anyone's wondering).

CV's are using MN just for backgrounds??? so that they give life to seen by their action?? i felt this seeing yesterday's epi ArTi's tallent is beeing wasted seeing MJHT for MN but no MN at all............

diya you have said everything ....... what more can i add but yes will deffo like to say that being an MN fan is bon as well as curse ............. throughout the 19 years of my life , i have never ever seen any tv couple being so magical and captivating .......... the moment i saw one scen of theirs i fell in love with MN instantly ....... and was soo happy to see them getting so much of screen space ans such good scenes which were a pleasure to watch ..... but little did i not know ..... that this happines will not last for long ....... cand MN will be treated only and only and only as scondary characters with no strry or tack of theirs and only hepling the other couples ....... it really hurts so much ...... i blame myself for being so much i love with tem that now it pains me to see them being treated like this ....... why did i fall for them ? why ? now this atchement is such rhat it becomes very dificult to dettach from them but if things continue being the way they are .... then that day is not far when no mayurian wil be left on this forum ......... and mjht will be doomed .... it was already on its way though ....... creatives we are not asking for much ...... just some screen space and some good and proper story for our couple and i dont think so that it it cant be done ....... i have aways said and will always say that plz wake up creatives and sense the damage which you are doing to your own show ...... plz dobt ignore the fact that mjht is only and only existing coz of sheer mayur magic ....... coz they are the ones who benefit you and your show the most ....... plz dont torture the fans any more other wise you will lose all ........ so as annie has said now its totaly in your hands ..... now you have to decide wheter you want your show to be on air or not ........... btw lovely topic divya but frankly speaking their is no use coz the concerned people will never ever hear ....... if they do then its actually a miracle .......

When and why we Love MN

why we love MN....numerous reasons!! first being the most cliched one...tat they ARE different!! in the true sense! it's a love story b/w two opposites....one being a hot shot intelligent popular nerd and other being the loud , bubbly, full of life, filmy nautanki baaz and always ready to try new stuff and optimistic gal (oh see so many adjectives for the character nupur which was apparently supposed to be a fluke😆).... nupur was supposed to be a character who's always in middle of problems (remember the first epi where she said tat its usual for her to be in trouble)....while mayank is away from all tis and a serious and sincere academic....she's waiting for her rajkumar...he cud care less😆!!

when these two met they created spark, mindblowing chemistry!! enjoyed all the scenes b/w them which were cliched but with a difference! both fought,became friends understood each other, again fought...bickered...but with each passing clashes understood each other more intenitionally or unintentionally. it was amazing to see someone like mayank fall in love with nupur...the nupur whom the ppl in general won't find anything spl...but mayank...the gr8 mayank sharma learned to love her with all her qualities good or bad!!

we became their fans, for unique sequences....which no one else in the industry cud have done a better job, the ArTi magic!! which turned every simple scene, cliched filmy scene into extraordinary one...the best thing abt them is they don't need dialogues to express themselves...their eyes are the most expresive eyes and the mindblowing gestures!! unique!!

yep the track is messed up a lot of tyms!! but still see our madness we actually wait for updates everyday to find out whether there were 2 mins of mayur or not...and we run to see tat also 😆 ( at least i do 🤣)

When and why we Hate MN

I don't hate MN...i rather hate the creatives for making a nothing out of MN!! MN has always been in the recievig end of nonsense!! after having the most magical confession...they had been completely destryed....mayank's brains had gone for a toss....and so was nupur's...both were shown as the loosers in a realtionship...while nupur commanding and mayank obeying and wooing her back again....they were used in background most of the time....when there was no track (umm officail trach or watever)....mayank was used as maseehah while nupur was shown supporting him....its good to help ur friends...but tym and again it becomes monotonous and irritating!!....when we askd for a bond...they were shown fiting and then bonding...!! but again after bonding they fought....never learnt from their mistakes as such!! and now there's nothing left for the "happy" couple! the couple tat fetch in most of the trps are ignored....CVs don't have time to im prove their storylines....instead they are experimenting with new set of "relationships" watever!!

saying tis....i still wait for the day...tat MN will be given their due....but i on't know whether i'll see dat day or not!

Now that you all have brought it up, I'd like to add some more to our love for MN story.

I am not sure how much everybody concerned (other than the fans) are aware that the actors who play the Part pf Mayank and Nupur have been instrumental in having the fans stay back with the serial. If not for Arjun Bijilani and Rati Pandey, the fan base of MJHT would have reduced substantially.

The way they played Mayank and Nupur in the beginning of the show got all of us fans so attached to the characters that it is only later that we realised that is due to these actors who played it to perfection. When the dialogues were great and the story line not exactly unfriendly towards MN, the 2 sparkled like no other. Its a great achievement for these actors that it is not due to their appearance but due to their immense talent that they have fans! The good looks are only an added bonus in their case.

Plus a rocking chemistry, which obviously has been misused many times for the sake of pulling up the TRPs. Again, not once was it considered the obvious choice to give these actors a fantastic storyline. Imagine the heights they could have taken the show to. If this is the way they raise the standards in a non-story non-track. We imagine and cry for what could have been.

Trust us when we say we are holding on only due to the actors, they never fail us, day in and day out. You let go of MN, you let go of more than 50 pct (extremely conservative figures) of your fan base. If you check the forum, the topics on the youtube or net, general people around you , it would be quite clear that the fan base is very high for MN. So unless the plan is to close down MJHT, Please ensure a great storyline is provided to the duo.

Studious Mayank and Bubbly Nupur are really the unique characters on television…On the 1st day of MJHT Mayank and Nupur entered in our mind and very fast they entered in our heart permanently…..

Arjun played the character of Mayank so well that Mayank become the idol for everyone…Bubbly Nupur is the most lovable character of MJHT and its just because of Rati… Mayur/Arti shares a great chemistry and that is why their scene looks so natural….

But look what creatives did with them… Creatives create Mayur but never thought that Mayur will become so popular and lovable…. So they never care for them in terms of story line and screen space…. Whenever we ask for emotional bonding between Mayur they throw us some random scenes like Mayur fight and Mayur patch up.

We fall in love with Mayur because Arjun and Rati made Mayur so lovable with their hard work and acting skills …. Arti made many crap scenes worth watchable for us....Arti set very high standard for Mayur… Creatives knows the capability of Arti but they will never accept this…. Now the fact is our Mahan creatives are incapable of writing scenes/script which will match to Arti standard.

Whatever it is ….
We love Mayur and always love them….No one can break Arti/Mayur magic .

Story, track, screen space right now everything comes later to me. Creatives stop using them for others. If you people can't give them a story/track of their own fine don't give them but atleast don't use them to solve others problems all the time. If you can't give them a story/track of their own don't show them, I'm better off without them then seeing them being used for others or standing in the background as extras.

STOP wasting two talented actors talent and hardwork!
