Last year was a chalenge, las year was sad, las year was agony!!
It sends chills thinking about about last year..... the place you usually go out to dine and wine was attacked....the roads you go on a weekend was full off gunshots.....the stations and a complex was also not spared by some who cannot be called humans....it was really a horrible 3 day agony...which none of the mumbaikars can forget.....
but yeah Mumbai and India has always moved on.....we have never bowed down to cowards who try to disrupt peace....we jumped back to normalcy to show tat no one can pull us down....we were united and will always remain united
my heartfelt support to all those common ppl who lot their lives last year.....my salute to all those polic officers and NSG commanders who lost their life protecting our lives.....we owe a lot to them...my salute to all the hero's because of whom we are sitting in our home in peace....We will never forget you sacrifice...

When they say that u hav to live outside India to experinece what patriotism really means, they were not wrong at all!

here I am, outside my homeland, my country ... and the feeling that I hav after reading ur post ... the patriotism, the love, the pride that rushes within me right now and the whole day today when I remember this day a year back ... are something that cannot be put into words here ... a shiver runs through my body everytime I remember this day and those who sacrificed their lives for my motherland..my country ...

and here outside my country, I feel why the hell am I not in India to experience the spirit of Indians ... because NOTHING can ever break my country's spirit .. nothing EVER has the potential to do so!

I really dont think I can speak more, because m already overwhelmed wit emotions ....

jus wanna end this post wit a video .. one of my friends from school has composed and sung this song ... as a tribute to everybody who lost their lives on this day -

My uncle and aunt were stuck in one of the hotel rooms for the three days during the attacks. On the last day before they were rescued, all they had left to eat one apple - the big decision was whether that should be breakfast, lunch or dinner - they had no idea how much longer they would be stuck there. All tv communications inside the hotel had been cut to avoid giving information to the terrorists. Living outside India, we were glued to the tv, waiting for news of the hostages and praying for their release.

My salute to those soldiers who lost their lives in the attacks, to all the brave staff at the hotels and the CST station who were instrumental in saving many lives, some at the cost of their own. Ordinary people - just doing their 'duty'.

Jai Hind

My respects to all mighty soldiers who fought for the country that day and every day in Indian history where such need arised, be it attack on parliament, serial blasts....
May God give the strength to all the families who lost dear ones to cope with the change in their lives....
ae maalik tere bande hum
aise ho humare karam
nekee par chale, aur badee se taley,
takey huste huey nikley dum

ye andheraa ghanaa chhaa rahaa,
tera insaan ghabara rahaa
ho rahaa bekhabar, kuch na aata najar,
sukh ka sooraj chupa ja rahaa
hai teri roshni mein jo dum
to amawas ko kar de poonam

bada kamjor hain aadmi,
abhi laakhon hain is mein kamee
par tu jo khadaa, hai dayalu bada,
teri kirpa se dharti thami
diya tune humey jab janam
too hee zelegaa hum sab ke ghum

jab julmon ka ho saamnaa,
tab tu hi humey thaamnaa
voh burai karey, hum bhalai bharey,
nahi badley ki ho kaamnaa
badh uthey pyaar ka har kadam
aur mitey bair ka ye bharam
